Why would you buy insurance to get returns?
When laws are passed in Parliament without a vote; when political leaders are detained without a charge for several months; when charges of sedition are slapped against writers, poets, professors, students and social activists; when no one is pronounced guilty in a case where a centuries-old mosque is demolished in broad daylight; when an FIR is not registered and no one is arrested for days despite the dying declaration of a girl who was raped and brutally assaulted; when the word ‘encounter’ enters the police’s vocabulary; when titular governors obstruct elected governments; and when crucial institutions are left headless or with multiple vacancies, the country falls one step ‘deeper into shadow’.
Before we had common criminals, now we have educated common criminals. Thanks to the modern day educational system!
Same thing happened with Exide Life Insurance. They have all details... luckily my aadhaar was not linked to mobile... so they did not get OTP...

These hybrid products(which give insurance and assured returns at the same time) are worst of worst in the market don't go for them. Separate your insurance and return portfolio.
One more thing PNB may be a Govt Bank run by Govt employees but PNB Metlife is not so they operate all principles of a pvt company to con you.

As far as i understand, company employs call him asking if he want to transfer his existing insurance policy to new(better) scheme and can came home to take his consent(signature on form) and papers which he agreed.
at home they took his sign on blank form (they usually do this) which they later filled as surrender(policy cancelation).
as with every policy terms and condition, there is a period of time before which you cannot cancel(surrender) your policy and if you do (in this case), you will be charged hefty which will be deducted from premiums paid till now with only small amount returned to you.
also before any change, company will send you report(warning) via sms, emails.
By simply introducing errors in contact, you will only know about it after everything is done
Which is why this can be big scam on company level.
But question would be why - maybe covid,

So it means PNB metlife is behind this or those officials are doing it for their gain. I didn't understand who would benefit from this. Maybe because I don't know how this thing works
Dont mix match an isurance policy with an investment policy !! Everything has its own purpose... keep it simple
USP of any policy: Instilling fear in the customer as if something bad will definitely happen/assuring you that the world is a sickening place and no-one helps you when that happens..
In reality they make business out of lack of humanity
But isn't it true... people loose all money which the saved for future....

If this guy thinking that insurance companies not involved then he is wrong. They r making a lot of pressure on their back end employees to conn clients for revenue of company.
