A true champion is one, in many ways. Bode is a true champion.

Old friend of mine from HS is a surgeon now, and worked with the US Ski Team. He said Bode was a complete asshole. So there is truth in what he is saying.

It’s funny most MD I have ever met we’re not the nicest people either. Many MD actually think they are god and often bitch how underpaid they are. In my experience most high achievers tend to be self centered and not the nicest people.

@@mtadams2009 not this doc. Known him since I was 12. Super chill and humble, but crazy hard worker. Never changed since he was a kid.

Yeah I can believe that. I've heard stories of him ignoring fans and treating people like they were beneath him, especially on the slopes. When I was a ski racer I heard stories of people who actually met him and none of them were very positive.

Doesn't take that much preparation to put socks and shoes on for an interview

Maybe he just doesn't give a fuck, and to be honest; why should he?

It’s his house! He’s Bode Miller, the interviewer needs him more than Bode needs him (respectfully)

And lousy fathers...why wasn't he watching his daughter at all times during the pool party? Now she is gone. Pathetic parents.

Now the story is that only the wife went over to the neighbor's with the little girl. Then she disappeared for a little bit, and after looking around for her, they found her in the pool. That's when the mother jumped in to get her out. Bode is not mentioned at all in this version of what happened and neither is a "party," as was originally stated. I read this in the Daily Mail online.

@jackie the only thing pathetic is your comment. It was a personal tragedy for someone you've never met and you know nothing about.

Analytics Analytics Actually it was a personal tragedy for their baby who trusted them to watch her properly.
What if you had drowned in a pool when you were a baby, because of lack of proper parental supervision? I guess that oversight would have been justifiable? Do you have children and just let them fend for themselves until they are 2?

Judge not - lest you be judged - they feel bad enough.
