Someone had asked about the floats. They're CZAW 1150S floats. As far as I know the design is the same Zenair used. Anyway, they're great!

What is the engine ? It sounds like a Rotax 912, but is it the 80 or the 100 HP ?

You can see the airspeed indicator right there in front of the pilot's eyes, on the left on top. The white arc is 30...60mph.

CH-701 is a nice small sea plane. Although the cruise speed is rather low, take off and landing performance is very high
