This is where long term testing needs to be used to evaluate. My Giraffe was garbage after a year. HOSELINK 2 years in and it's hands down 100000000% better and still looks new!!
@@duncanbrown7082 We hear you! We understand your desire for a thicker hose, and we appreciate your suggestion. However, we currently face a challenge in striking the right balance between hose thickness, length, and water pressure maintenance. A larger diameter hose would occupy a significant amount of space inside the case, which would require either a shorter hose length or a much larger and heavier case. We are continually working on finding the optimal solution to this challenge. Our Quick Connects make it extremely convenient to quickly change accessories, for instance from the spray gun to one of our sprinklers. Hope that's helpful Duncan!
The Giraffe Hose Reel is a game-changer, eliminating the hassle of heavy hose hauling. Installation requires two people but is worthwhile. The retractable mechanism may take some practice, but it efficiently reels in a long hose. Highly recommended.

Anyone who gardens knows Hoselink is #1. I don’t even have one yet.
I own one, but you need to go with a 3/4” hose and lose the restrictive quick connections. The pressure lost is very noticeable.
