@@nicolasachille4371 also they totally cleared a good mans black marked record, defeated an out of control automaton and, got a family back together and found little kiri a home.
Beauregard being threatening is my absolute favourite thing ever. A close second is Fjord saying “I didn’t say you could talk.” He’s so fucking soft-spoken, it’s just so good. The two of them together are just so brilliant.
Returning back through the highlights and I must say, I'm actually quite impressed at Matt's ability to make two voices almost overlap at 6:12 , even though only for two words. I did a double take because I wasn't watching the screen and genuinely thought there was another person talking.
Could you try and get that clip where Nott fires the crossbow at Beau (I think it was when they met Caduceus) and Beau caught it but then bc she rolled a nat 20 she got to fire again? That clip killed me lol
Seriously, the editing in this video is superb. So nice to find a channel that can replace "Critical Role Highlights", since that channel's owner is misogynist as hell... (As they so readily admitted on their twitter.)
Yeah. He said it on this Twitter and everything. the-scarecrowlover.tumblr.com/post/175320518659/boycott-critical-role-highlights-i-always-got (He's not officially part of Critical Role. He "claims" to be a critter.) Spread the news.
So.. Im a huge fan of Matt Mercer and over the last few years ive gotten more and more into dnd and ive decided to try to dive in. Only problem is... I don't have friends and my comic book store guys have an inside group they play with and are VERY unhelpful... To the point that I felt my mere curiosity was a bother... Any suggestions on the best way to get into it when your friends live in other states? Lol
I love how Matt just keeps ignoring the mechanics of the spell "suggestion" lmao. I mean afterall its an arcane, vocal, spell. So the caster has to invoke the spell verbally before adding the suggestion, so every bystander aswell as the target(s) are being warned and will remember the spellcasting. And he just keeps ignoring that :D
LichLordOfFlames actually, incorrect. According to DnD Beyond (their sponsor, btw) it’s literally how they’re playing it; a course of activity is _suggested_ and the target is or isn’t magically influenced. It has to be worded/phrased as a reasonable course of action, and fails automatically against creatures that cannot be charmed, but they’re playing it accurately.
some guys insult a person they met that day, and they proceeded to make them blind and bleed from the eyes and rob them... its good to have freinds.
matt cunningham if I was as ballsy as mollymauk I would have gotten kicked out of every civilized place aside from bars!

Fjord's more about simmering anger under the surface, while Beau's more about boiling anger on the surface. They make a good pair
I love that moment too. His voice just caries so much power and authority even when it's such a quiet tone, I love it! ^.^
Terrified gnome boi: Who's therrrrre? Name yourrrrrself!
Jester: Oh Hieeeeeeeeeee :)

That half the party started to make infernal whispers was super cool sounding. I need more friends like this
The coolest thing ever
@@AnimeLover930 to be followed by the cutest most cuddly and wholesome "Oh Hai!"
Fjord & Beau, master interrogators! Jester & Nott, master detectives! Is there no crime they can't solve?
Caleb, master dork!
Molly, Bisexual God!
Caleb and Yasha, master misanthropes
They can’t solve the chair
Yes....
Ones they commit are strangely void of any ability to solve!
Ok but holy crap Matt is good at Gnome-voices AND making rapid switches between two voices.
You'd almost think he does this stuff for a living...
Well is his a voice actor....
Don't r/woooosh me, I jest.
@@Name_Nah00 no but... Review your sentence.
Honestly this is my favorite interaction in the campaign so far, very closely followed by the absolute shitshow at the clinic in Zedash.
Get someone who looks at you the way Taliesen and Travis look at Laura after she says "No, stay, play with us longer"
Beautiful, I didn't notice, thanks for pointing it out
This could actually be a scene in a movie which shows how insane they are at RPing
Molly was immediately like “ya nope this does not sit well with me” as soon as they started insulting
He leaves every place better than he finds it.

A punk named Ashton, huh?
"Deal deal" in two different voices back to back, god I love Matt.
I never realized how much I missed Molly's accent
Two punks names Fitz and AHSTON?!?!?
Okay but then all collectively making the sounds of the infernal is amazing and my favorite
Voice actors. 'Nuff said.
This episode, all I could think of was Spoony’s advice on his video: if you want to get the party to drop everything, steal from them.
The moment I fully fell in love with Molly
Could you try and get that clip where Nott fires the crossbow at Beau (I think it was when they met Caduceus) and Beau caught it but then bc she rolled a nat 20 she got to fire again? That clip killed me lol
I love the fact that jester is basically a psycho
Beau doesn’t need help to put on her usual charm
I love how intimidating Fjord can be when he tries to.
1:12 hellish rebuke
*"the gang traumatizes some teenagers"*
Nott: what where their names again. Fitz and......
Me: I think it was ashden
My brain: THE TANTRUMS
Ashton, a punk? This is where Taliesin got it from? :)
Moments like this remind me that jester is not quite as naive as she seems it is an act.

my bi ass has just been slaughtered by that interrogation scene
Same tho
0:29 I love Laura so much
Funnily enough, the gnome boys DO call her Tabletop the 2nd time, so Travis didn't Freudian Slip, Matt did lmao
I miss Molly so much omg
