Fuuuuuuck Yeah! I grew up with Young Guns I & II debuting in theaters, and I love those films. I guess the younger kids wouldn't understand the hype. Gen X'ers are gonna love the shit out of this!
i mean.. If you know the rest of the story then its really going to be hard to make this movie.. 1 was historical, 2 was close enough to work and after that the Brushy story just goes way over the top lol if you're going to do this you need to go Tarantino Once Upon a Time or Inglorious Bastards. The best scene from the first film is when Billy yells down to the sheriff: Billy: "Hey Pepin!" Sheriff Pepin: "I'm hearin' ya Bonney." Billy: "I see ya got Charlie Crawford down there with ya." Pepin: "Yeah he's here. We got a whole....." A bullet to Charlie Crawford's head takes him out. Billy: "Hey Pepin! Charlie Crawford ain't with you anymore." Billy's maniacal laugh gets me every time. What should have happened next was, Billy naming another guy out on the street and that guy gets scared and runs away. lol
That is the best only fallowed up by Billy: "HELLO BOB!" Bob: " oh shit" *gets shot * Billy absolutely laughing his ass off : " BOY BEST DOLLAR EIGHTY I EVER SPENT XD"

They were huge successes, and deemed the most accurate Hollywood depiction by historians with change’s really only being about half the regulators, and them not knowing what was actually said obviously. Oh and john tunstall was shown as an old guy with gray hair, but he was killed in his early 20s, younger than most of the regulators

Young Guns and Tombstone are just action films but with a Western theme. Unforgiven is a great acted and realistic film that is more believable
The first one was great. I love those films. And great soundtracks. If they come out with a new one I think Christ Stapleton should be on the soundtrack. You listen to his song White horse and you will know why I think he’s a good choice.
Young Guns 3 is great news, but a sequel to The Way is mind blowing 🤯! The Way is an absolute masterpiece of film!! I’m quite intrigued to see where they take that story

At first I was really excited but over the last few years thinking about a part 3. I'm not too crazy about for it.. YG2 was a great sendoff with in my opinion the best soundtrack ever. Of course if YG3 comes out I'll be watching it

Dave Rudabaugh was never called by the "Arkansas" moniker. He was called "Dirty Dave", but they had to change it for the 2nd movie because of the "Dirty Steve" character in the first.
I was 15 at the time young guns came out, i loved the second movie as well. Emilio Estevez is perfect in billy the kid role. To see a third film come out is a dream come true!

There are SO many discrepancies with Billy's "Death", that this movie and story is very possible. Chavez y Chavez did live on, in real life, to a rip old age. Arkansas Dave lived a few years past Billy's "alleged" death, Pat Garrett lived on quite awhile, his book actually failed at first, and not many people believed he killed Billy as the accounts of the Kid's death kept changing. The Brushy Bill story. I mean, all of this could bring about a solid 3rd movie. I only regret Kiefer Sutherland insisting his character die, if he returned in pt. 2. In real live, Doc Scurlock lived a long, healthy life when he went East. Made 80 yrs old, I believe. Kiefer coulda cameo'ed in this. That's unfortunate, since Kiefer Sutherland was amazing in that role.
