We love Agia Sofia and the little taverna there. Best homemade chips and homemade lemonade i've ever had in my life 🍟🍋 Feels like you've stepped back in time when you're there. Thank you for taking us along with you 🏍️🇬🇷🏖️

Didn’t know you could walk through to the second beach at Agia Sofia. Thought it was only accessible by boat. Nice one Rudgey 👍

For us one of the joys of Kefalonia is visiting those harder to reach and therefore more secluded beaches like these. We drove out to Agia Sofia / Jerusalem a couple of years ago, the road is shall we say 'interesting' with some shear drop-offs/wonderful views of Ithica, but it's well worth it for the peace and seclusion of those time beaches and I remember, some goats. Driving not your thing then you can visit with one of the small yellow hire boats from Agia Effimia, also a wonderful way to explore. ❤your vids Rudgey!!!

Agia effimia is a beautiful place.we visit for a day every year. we passed through just a day after the medicane a few years ago and it was extremely upsetting to see the destruction that had been caused.mud slides into the homes at the back of the village, the yachts that had sunk in the harbour were all you could see was the mast tops. The people ,despite the disaster just getting on and doing there best to clear up.
We actually helped an elderly couple remove a tree truck from there path way that had floated down.
Glad to say all is back to normal and once again a fantastic village.
Rudgey,it might be worth telling the viewers about how bad the roads are in the wet.I spun round twice in a jeep a few years back and was only doing 20mph,😂scary.
    Will be back September,can’t wait.
    Enjoy mate.
