I used to like Lecrae a lot. Has a deep message in many of his songs. However, his recent political ignorance IMO now makes me doubt his sincerity towards the words he spoke and genuine ideologies he believes in. He just seems like a disingenuous Christian to me after seeing where his support lies. I dont find it brave, admirable, or even slightly difficult to support the establishment principles that he is currently. Arrogant ignorance and exclusionary rhetoric is not part of faith or critical thinking... which is what I used to take away from his music. Lupe Fiasco is right there next to him.
