I looked into the future and saw the goo guy from Sky High. Every time I look into the future I see the goo guy from Sky High. He appears in all my visions of the future and it’s driving me insane. My predictions had never been wrong before any of this goo guy stuff started happening, so I can only assume that these visions are true and he will appear for me someday. But I do not know when. I live in constant fear of that day.
@zacharymckeown490 his always been with you detective. From the day you drew breath to the day you saw the goo guy from sky-high his always been there waiting for his time to take control.
I think everyone knows his power is BS, but they all go with it because they don't want to do their jobs. It's MUCH easier for them to just say "its unsolvable", and then go do literally anything else.
I like to imagine that the cases get progressively easier to solve too, as criminals get careless (or maybe even desperate). A lot of criminal psychopaths take pride in being smarter than their opposition, and would get frustrated if they just gave up over and over.
I have a theory about this skit. And it's that not only was the detective _actually_ psychic, but that his murders have actually helped the city overall. Think about it: When he has his visions we can see that he's definitely looking at _something,_ you can't exactly fake what we're seeing things straight from his perspective. What would his visions be about, aside from the murder itself? What if the man he killed _was_ a murderer, or rather, someone who *might have been.* My final idea is that ever since he was a child, he has been plagued of these crimes that would take place. He joined the police force, using his psychic skills to solve numerous cases. The police chief says "pretty much all of them", not "literally every single one". This suggests that there _was_ a time when his powers would solve cases, but now he's saying they're all dead ends. This is because he has visions of people who WILL be murderers, and so he kills _them_ before there's a chance for it to happen. Knowing that the police force is wrapped around his finger, he just calls it a cold case and hopes they don't investigate further.
What if the man he killed was going to be murdered anyway and by preventing another murderer from doing it he helped save the city from paying for another prisoner?
But reason why there are so many murderers is because criminals see that police is doing nothing to solve cases so they do the murders knowing there is going to be almost no repercussions
Isn't that like the plot of quite a few sci-fi mysteries no? There's that movie on Netflix where the daughter of a detective uses time travel to murder future criminal iirc that immediately reminded me of this. There's also a manga where a policeman becomes a notorious serial killer who will become murders, traffickers, etc. It's not a stretch of a theory at all.
That one rookie sucked trying to frame Daniel like that, with some pictures taken out of context. Thank god chip langstrum saw through the bs so called evidence

Damn he’s good. The case was in fact never solved, they did go to eat food together, and they did all play dominos together. He literally didn’t get a single thing wrong.
I was kinda hoping for the twist that the "Super natural detective" was the murderer the whole time for all the cases he claimed were "Unsolvable" lmfao
The only way to fight a fake psychic is pretend to be more psychic and then discover they're the bad guy all along. Then you become the new psychic and everyone buys you piñaritas.
Guy from 2012 here, love this perfectly timed video. (Actually though, just finished my Psych rewatch so it feels on point and of course it's a banger)
What “extremely useful” detective power should we do next?
"Guys, trust me, my powers only work if i smell the victim's shoes. I swear. guys pl-where are you going? No, no, i swear this is, they let me do it at the previous department-"
DANIEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The power to know exactly who committed the murder but he is both illiterate and mute.
The ability to talk to ghosts but since “spiritual evidence” is non-permissible, he has a zero percent solve rate
Using a magic 8 ball, but the 8 ball is a 9 ball because it's one better

Just like real cops!
The ending where he accepts the mini sombrero was so insanely funny but also surprisingly wholesome
He did indeed say that they would ALL go.
It was predestined.
I’m picturing a gritty crime drama where Frank tries in vain every week to get someone else to actually help him do some police work.

A little bit like the psychic version of Dexter

At first, I was wondering how seeing what *will* happen solves murders that already occured. Glad my question was answered.
I wonder what will happen the day the taco restaurant is closed or is out of what he wanted to order and he accidentally gets a prediction wrong.

As an urban fantasy writer, I feel deeply and personally attacked by this sketch. As I should be, well done.
