One of the reasons why I'm never a big fan of double flipper games. Either the three flipper or the four at the bottom of the playfield.. Not only does it give the ball more options to drain. At least four to six spots. Compared to only 3 possible drains to a normal two flipper game. But definitely takes a lot more skill though.
11:58 - Taking down all 4 inline targets in one shot while missing the saucer at the end. This is what I wasn't expecting to happen... I wish that there was slow motion footage of that.
You can take off the 6 digit and replace it with a 7 digit scoring display since it’s easy to get 1,000,000 points on this game. It’s a easy pinball machine to conquer, just hit the 4 drop targets and then aim for the spinner on the far left and let it rip. Winner winner chicken dinner.
Kinda curious. Could you trap the ball in the right flipper. And then lightly tap it into the top of the left upper flipper? Or would that not work. It's a bit tricky I think it could work. But just a working theory.
I think they could had done a better job with the sound effects. But then Stern seemed to have a better grasp of the intricacies of Exidy's sound engine than Bally did.
Ahhh HGT... Good memories... 10 years old and my first 1 000 000 pts on a pinball that only shows 6 digits... Still seems to be fun to play.
