I've only realised how weird my dreams actually are recently. I don't remember them most of the time (unless they're nightmares) but the few i do remember are strange, to say the least. Last night i dreamed that i was in a room full of mirrors, and my best friend appeared at some point. I can't see myself in dreams. There was nothing in the mirrors but my best friend. We were talking and at some point she mentioned that i had a bit of a stubble (which is odd because i haven't come out as trans yet and i still look like a girl) but i could see myself in 3rd person for a few seconds and it was true that i had a stubble. My hair was cut short as well. And i regarded it as a normal thing, and said something along the lines of "Oh, yeah, im growing it out don't mind it." Wtf??? And she was okay with it and it was normal so :/ whatever i guess???? And today at school we were having a science lesson and it somehow spiraled into 'girls can grow a beard as well (just a small one)' so- uh- yeah-
I think wierdcore has more of a horror aspect and chaotic vibes while dreamcore has more of a biblical angel liminal space sort of vibe? At least thats my guess
weirdcore is more vague and mysterious (maybe even a little empty at times) while dreamcore has a more concrete context w/ storytelling and characters and stuff most people usually confuse the terms all the time
