You are wrong about her resource management you can get her unique resource by ulting and firing on beat at a rate of 1 resource per bullet. You do not have to keep switching and gaining only one at a time on their cooldowns, that mod potent collector is a wasted slot. Ult, fire on the beat, and your resource will fill up very fast. ez

Her biggest problem is no scaling and the things she provides is something every character can already scale her utility can only really be good for a pre established team her dps on her gun is just bad she may be a support but fully relying on your team for survival in a mmo is just not the play. I’ve spent the past 15hrs modding her for support and dmg with both her transcendent mods she’s just mediocre at best. Like ever other music based characters that they designed around playing a game in a game in a game I don’t see how they seen Octavia and said let’s make her but less efficient. At this point just copy paste Lucio and there’s the best music base character in any game.
Having to shoot the notes on while also dodging being shot at feels really weird for me. Then again, the new Viessa skin looks very fine so maybe i don't understand Luna.
I think Yujin skill 1 gives buff too (skill power increase 23% and firearm attack 34.5%). And if he doesn't use Duty and Sacrifice, his original 4th skill gives the same buff too. And the good part of it, is it's instant no need for mini games.
I agree completely on the CD, no need. However Duration, while it doesn't affect the buff's and regen you apply to Luna herself, IT DOES affect the duration the buffs last on your allies (the Sound (allies) is affect, the Performance (self) is not). The final ability can be great for (non-Viessa and other -90% CD builders), as at max, it lowers CD's by over 50% with an Enhanced version for all allies in range. With duration extensions, that can be a large 9-10s duration of extra DPS that way. Same with just giving a large MP recovery buff on her 2. As long as one uses MP, this can be great for more spamming of skills, keep Bunny running and things like that. I don't know... I can see really good uses for all 3 of her buffs, depending on the party. Lot more planning and not as good in PUBs if you don't know other player kits though to know what buffs would be helpful to them (so this then is on Luna players to know more about others).
Me myself I don’t run potential I’ve leveled her twice this morning. She cans be useful but she has too much micromanagement in order to proc her ult to get the 100% without potent you would need to use her ult to build bar cancel the ult on the last 2 bars and then wait cooldown. But the reward vs lose of another character isn’t really worth she’s Octavia from warframe but worse. Had too edit this also why doesn’t shooting on notes give bar In the other two abilities it doesn’t make sense. The only thing I can really say is she counter energy drain, unless it dies fast enough. Tbh majority of the supports are not needed or don’t (work wink wink cough jayber) you can just raw dog with high dps or aoe characters.
Ive found that her ability to generate her inspiration gauge is really inefficient. It takes awhile, even when timing skills right to build that gauge. The mana regen on the 3rd skill can be somewhat useful if youve missed a few notes and lost MP but thats really it. She has really cool mechanics, but i think her build time to get to the enhanced state is too slow to be efficient even in hard boss battles where the buffs might be more handy. I agree she needs to be looked at by devs again. As a side note, i dont have the transcendsnt modules for her so i cant comment on those and didnt factor how that might make her better
Its pretty punishing to fail hitting a note on her, you seem to prefer to build her in the direction of being able to play her perfectly. While I can understand the min max ideology behind it, I find it somewhat dubious that most players would be able to hit her notes 100% of the time in the heat of combat. My luna is still baking atm so I can't test her myself, but damn, I really hope that the cooldown not affecting her own skill cooldown is a bug.
you are correct CD is pointless on her once you get good at her but CD will help with practicing her making the Failed CD more forgiving till you think you don't need the CD no more then run maximize power and skill as all that will do is make the failed CD longer
Even in a squad id rather have a teammate that jus kills the enemies or does more damage to the boss than the buffs luna gives you while not doing any damage whatsoever
She might not be for everyone but her transcendence mod Noise Surge make her looks much fun to me. I am a main support player but this is a dps mod that can clear hordes. You can get your enhanced abilities much faster. I will just ask you give it a try.

best i seen is 4 crit mods cause her 1 does proc analysis master which is a weapon mod to grant -25% crit res to target if crit for 10s when max and maximize power and skill clearly for dps output as they only make the failed attempt longer then rest be Hp Def and last slot no clue for her non transcendent mod build as still new so people are still experimenting

She was never made to solo anything. Gley is one dimensional, yet she's my favorite. Heavily gun based. I would say if you're trying to run solo with her, it would be the same. Her DPS mod will help for solo, but lemme find homies name who had a busted build and I'll shoot it your way.

This took 17 crystallization catalysts to test long grind if you want to see for yourself.

I have the mod. It’s trash. She hits like a marshmallow even with maxed out dmg boosts and Crit dmg. She just hits too soft. Can’t kill with it, it’s worse than Freyna dot damage. And it’s on a slow tick rate and it can’t be increased. At least it makes her playable but she’s the worst character in the game by far. I have her whole set fully optimized to (from 50+ gluttony completions in just today alone) and it’s all just trash. No other character felt as bad as her.

Will her skills get any better with max lv 4 skills? Decreased cooldowns maybe? When Sharen starts off, her base cloak as a lv 1 skill only has a 4 second duration, but max lv skill is base 10. Can someone confirm?
They do but they don’t get much better after 17 catalysts build dps and support version to save you the time she mediocre at best. Yujin would be your best option for a support

Sometime i see Viessa on Pyro while farming for Valby code. I see some Kyle, Enzo, Freina and Valby as well, while myself use Yujin. BUT until this day i never see Blair, Jayber and Esiesmo on Void boss fight (not solo, random que). Not to mention is any purple weapon usefull beside Tamer and Eternal Willpower ? I see Sniper still here and there (Afterglow), but have you ever see anyone use shotgun ? Viessa can use Clairvoyance Beam Rifle, and some descendant use Secret Garden Tactical rifle, and Hand Cannon that reduce def 30% i forget the name. But i don't see any scout rifle used, and for general round i don't see anyone use hand gun. So many resources wasted just to become fodder for mastery rank, level up and forget.

she is really bad.. i only try to play her because i paid a lot to unlock and buy skins for her.....but its very complicated and no actual dps, i wish i could kill last boss for the dps module
she is told to be a support character . for sure there wont be any high dps with her unmodded skills. also they knew people want to play her skill based dps so they made a skill mod converting all her skills in pure dps skills. theres already one nice video about the mod and dmg and stuff. let them cook and you will probably see again some busted builds.
she is meant for support and if you want dps out of her support kit may not be crazy damage but can run both maximize power and skill as it only affects the failed cooldown which is pointless if you got the timing of skills down she is meant to boost your team but she hands no firearm buffs making her heavily into playing with skill builds so she is not a bad character in paper but she requires teams to be built around her for her to really shine
Luna is the worst character design i have seen in a long time. It's cool in theory but in action its annoying, awkward, and doesnt help the team that much

Her module that removes her buffs potentially makes her relevant as an AOE mobbing killer. Unfortunately, something similar was included in her kit.

this is fine most people complaining i see is fact that they can't boost things that will ruin her or people who played very little and most likely with randoms not getting her full potential she is a solid character but requires proper teams and issue is Most random teams run you encounter people just spamming there gun making her weaker

this is just a horrible kit design for a run & gun looter shooter where staying still equals death and you have to stand still playing guitar hero with her.. shes cool but utterly useless..
Ii was so hyoed for this character they added stupid rhtyhym game to it which kills character she useless ain’t nome got time do mini game when u got shit shootigj u from everywhere. This character in bossing will be dead u will miss notes due having Aggro
