Just did this with pickaxe, put all the gemstones in one spot. I had 9 energy from stacking the crimson energy things, and also a seperate stack with over a hundred gems. Also had the relic that gave weapons adjacent to gems +1 damage. I was doing well over 2000 damage per swing. I only "lost" when I refreshed due to the game bugging out from stacking gems, and it didn't save my progress. I made it to Floor 32. I also had like 20 shields stacked with that smiley face shield. And I had a ton of the "shields gain spikes" gem next to them. I was gaining about 500 block and 200 spikes per shield use (if I needed it). This is WAY too broken.
You can move the stacks by trading spaces with another item (so for helmets you can stack it on the bottom row and then put a manastone on the top row then drag the manastone on top of the stack to make them trade spots.
i dont know if this was fixed already but there is a infinite combo with hourglass and the club that deals dmg to you but cost 0 with hourglass it will never do damage to you and you can just spam it with a vampire gem for infinite damage or maybe give it an effect from forge like rage
Wait that's actually very smart, thanks for the idea. Beserker's club has lots of exploits, I won't be surprised if it's nerfed or removed.

Sifd, you’re a man after my own heart. I say that because I, too, love it when I get to shatter a game into pieces by abusing bugs, exploits, or even intended mechanics. There’s something about witnessing the remains of your destruction that just feels so good
Now when I see that, I wish we could stack same items together to maybe increase their effects or something like that:)
For the mana stones, would putting mana stones in two different slots make it so that they all belong to the same connection and allow you to combine the mana rather than use them individually?
That's about what I figured. Guess he doesn't do magic much.
I think that would make them all connect but didn't think about it at the moment.
would this work with duct tape making thing adjacent to itself, like for example a gold cleaver would buff itself and cleavers stacked on itself.
first thought of this with bricks stacking but you can't stack bricks with this exploit
as far as the mana stacking i bet its the Conductive Property. Because there is "non-conductive" items on top the mana they probably block the mana flow. I bet stacking the mana on it's own or with only conductive items would work.
That could've been it.
It's also possible that the "conductive" property reuses the same code that "adjacent [item] gets [effect]" does, and objects in the same space don't qualify as "adjacent" or "diagonal", and packing the mana stones into two stacks would result in all the stones being connected.

Now I want them to add a structure that you drop on items to store inside of it. Maybe a safe or chest theme?

the deal with manastones are u putting all of them at the same spot, so they cant connect with each other, u should have tried to place at least one of them where u put energy stone

Cram infinite cleavers, apply 1 duct tape, they will all trigger each other like a regular cleaver build but all within a tiny space
so um... correct me if i am wrong, but couldnt you just rotate the hasted shield sideways, so it still occupied the bottom square with the other shields, and yet left the top bit sticking out to click on?
Crimson Energy seems super common for a legendary item. I've gotten 3 in runs multiple times now.
This exploit is fun because tou don't really have that many ways to scale into endless, most endless runs die before the first loop, so they really aren't that endless, with this at least once you could probably get to the 3rd or 4th loop
It's kinda wack how absurdly difficult the endless scaling is. They'll either need to stop nerfing items and start buffing, or reduce the scaling.
@@crazybunnyproductions7287 the way slay the spire does the endless mode works way better to this kind of game that don't really have skill involved, but I guess it's kind of difficult to create interesting endless "curses" that fit this game
Dealing 1473 damage per energy with 5 energy each turn sounds OP until you get 3 enemies with 2560 on floor 16. I have no idea how endless would be possible without some glitch.
I was pretty confused when I saw they nerfed cleavers, even though thorns is a thing and prevent cleaver builds from even progressing in most cases.
That last boss fight god d*mn thats close. I really enjoy watching this

The problem with this exploit is that you were always taking items and spending time reorganizing even after you no longer needed to. If you just took items when you needed to like extra energy items or gemstones this run would be a lot more viable.

Hey i really dont think you should worry about people calling you a cheater, im pretty sure its commonly considered that its 100 percent ok to abuse glitches or just straight up even cheat in single player games.
Because at the end of the day single player means only one player needs to have fun, so just dont worry about that!
dunno why they would fix this, its not like theres a leaderboard or multiplayer, just takes options away from players wanting a meme run

They fixed the glitch but now im doing an infinite run with ethereal arrow and bomb relic. Massive damage with 500% bonus damage.
The glitch thing is speaking in binary, and it does say relics.

Unless I'm missing something it's patched or doesn't work when you google backpack Hero.
My first thought was straight up go the gemstone/pickaxe build.
Not enough damage turn 1? Heal through it and get more damage turn 2
Armor also does not work when stacked on SAME armor

BTW are you playing on Chrome?! Try using Opera or Quantum fox instead it gets faster. Chrome has internal memory management issues especially when you install some extensions!

If you want to make this a live stream endless then I would recommend force getting the candle relic on first boss with refreshing browser.
Dealing with spikes is just not fun or engaging.
This video was fun, even the endless part where you kept stacking more stuff. Watching it go silly extremes is fun but losing just cause an enemy has 7 spikes... not so much.

this has already been patched, unfortunately. however, you can access this version of the game via wayback machine. be warned, that it is VERY laggy using this method, and is nearly unplayable.

1st of all, please leave this but in the game, devs... It hurts nobody but the player and only if they want to use it... If ur concerned about that, remember that once your game launch, people will make this a mod
