Its so said to think that the black series could have been like this, but with more details from Andor, but instead they made their own inaccurate design. This is on the other hand looks beautiful, but it is so expensive
Agreed, Hasbro has that sweet spot for practicality and affordability. I hope they can make some small adjustments for accuracy. Even this one maybe slightly too wide or too large since it’s a costume piece to fit a ‘normal head’ but overall looks good. Biggest concern is the lack of metal on aerator vents but I understand since it’s a 3D design maybe intensional. Overall a nice helmet for sure and keeps the high end look with the other high end replicas.
@Orb don’t get me wrong the Hasbro helmets are a great deal for what you get. Similar to these Denuo and prior Anovo helmets, these costume helmets are large. Master Replicas had direct files since these were never made IRL. Hasbro and this helmet are large to accommodate a larger customer base since many helmets are smaller for the actor. Hasbro will never get accuracy for size because of this. Also the quality won’t be as good for materials but they do a darn good considering a smaller budget.
@Orb What you consider barely noticable is not acceptable by the 501st legion. And with the same pricetag you can have all the other black series helmets wich are accurate and only require minimal modifications to be 501st approved. And the sad thing is that they could have gave this helmet the same treatment, could have made it 100%accurate, they have access to both the original 3d models from ep 3 and the actual props used in Kenobi/Andor, so they really had everything to make a perfect helmet, but for some reason they didn't and created their own design.
@@PopCultureRelics No problem! I guess it’s good to know they made the effort. I recently ordered my first helmet from them (501st) and it should be arriving next week. Fingers crossed the quality lives up to what I’m expecting! 🤣
@@TheCloneGuy97 if it’s weathered it’ll look fine. It’s the clean ones that aren’t the cleanest lol. Congrats and let me know your thoughts. Good luck!
@@PopCultureRelics So, the helmet arrived last night and it looked amazing, until.... I saw there was some nasty paint peeling (not where the weathering was intended lol) in several areas revealing the base material layer underneath. It looks pretty cheap and unfinished. Definitely not $700 level quality! I emailed them pictures. How easy were they to work with regarding the exchange process?
@@TheCloneGuy97 awe no, sorry to hear this. It’s unfortunate they can’t have clean paint apps and finishes on the helmets. It was an easy process once they saw the photos. Pretty quick too for a replacement. Lmk how it goes. Sucks when it happens. Could be their downfall if it keeps happening.
Thanks for posting…I ordered one a few months back and saw that they took it off of pre order status on their website so I was hoping they started shipping. The thumbnail of the Obi-Wan ightsaber video shows that you have a nice collection. Any videos giving an overview of the whole collection?
MR without a doubt. I just received a Denuo novo helmet (iden versio). Worst helmet in my collection. Cheap ABS plastic, shoddily put together and thin. Like really thin. So thin it creaks every time you touch it. And the price. Wow. Even Etsy cloning factories do a far better job than these guys.
Please don’t support this company. Also known as Anovos. I’ve recently quit the production team in Texas. They pay there employees extremely low wedges. Constantly lead on employees that they would get higher pay. Treat employees unfairly. Have extremely dangerous working environments. Overall a very unprofessional company… please don’t support Denuo Novo aka Anovos
I’m sorry to hear this. While I have no current orders with Denuo, I wanted the helmet to complete the trooper phases. With Rubies picking up the company have things changed? Are the same people pretty much still working there?

@Piet the Hasbro helmet has a skinny visor. It should be less squinty and rounder.
Did they ever get back to you about the imperfections?
They did but it wasn’t much of an improvement. Slightly better but still had some paint flaws and minor QC issues. Thanks for asking haha.

Thanks for watching! Great helmet despite the finish issues. I’ll be posting a collection video soon! Hang tight!!
Hi if they were the same price would you go for denuo novo or master replicas?
I’d get the MR. QC better on the MR. Also smaller so probably a little more accurate since they had the files from LFL.
