Linkus yelling about how that's not a flurry rush makes me feel better. I've done that fight a few times just to try and time the flurry rushes and it does seem harder to get for no reason.

Well, if this becomes a regular part of speedrunning, I guess there better be a 1.0 exclusive category if there isn't already. I doubt this is the only big trick that was found before launch.
One thing I don’t understand: why is it not possible to skip the entire loss of hearts and everything and not just clip out of bounds and go directly to Gloom’s Lair to fight the Demon King’s Army? That looked possible when you clipped out of the ceiling in the intro, there was a dark blob that looked like Gloom’s Lair

If Linkus absolutely hates the intro skip, maybe he shouldn't try to play 1.0 version for the fastest time. It is a separate category after all.
