Tim, hands down , one of your best videos, these bags 20 and 30 lend themselves better to individual organization better then several other vanquest products, sad they done make them anymore...
you do some real comprehensive reviews .I can't wait to see if you get a new trident 30 and compare .I just bought a 20 due to your video and it's the best!! I just wish I would have waited a few months now I'm gonna have to get both I'm sure
Very nice packs, and great review. I really have been converted to the pouches method of packing. It's so much quicker and easier, and you don't forget things. Thanks for sharing Tim, and be safe, looks like we might be getting a bit of weather on Thursday. Take care, Hatch.
Great review, great explanation, I couldn't decide which one to get, so I got both with many other gear from Vanquest, and I love them all, also I just got the last katara they had,, I enjoy watching your videos especially the way you explain them, thank you very much.
I took the 20 on my National Parks trip, perfect, since we were between camping and hotels. Had it all set for the short hikes we did in the different parks. I love it. Btw, the 30 does not have the pals webbing underneath, not sure , only the 20 does. I used my Möbius 2.0 for a few hikes, and the rest I used the 20....
Thanks, great review, just ordered the 20, as I have other larger bags that would fit a week camping or a number of days. I like the fact that I can still do an overnight, but have an EDC bag to get around town, and...., on my bike. Like all of us bag lovers, I have a few to choose from, and I always gravitate towards the smaller bag, I'm 5'8, 200 pounds, the 20 will fit the bill. Thanks again...
Absolutely my friend, the 20 really is a great all around pack that can fit multiple needs. The quality is off the charts for sure. Thank you for taking the time to watch.
Ok, a couple of questions. How would the khaki/multicam color look just out and about..say the grocery store? Would the thirty be too big for everyday carry to work? Can the 20 hold a 20oz kleen kanteen? thanks
None of the pockets or main compartment have bottom drain grommets. Not good. Great review of a decent set of packs but the lack of a smaller quick access compartment is not convenient and there is no front molle to attach one. Honestly I've used packs with the compression straps in the front and they are useless. That front area of the pack could have been used for more useful features.
Chuck Chuck Between the 20 and the 30 I'd go with the 30 personally. Great size for a day hike, not too big for a edc pack and can even be used on a light overnight trip. I do know right now they are having a Fire Sale, huge savings but they only have the wolf gray color.
Riley Masters they don't show it on the 30, if you look at the pictures they show the bottom of the pack without the straps, shame. Glad I ordered the 20, I would be disappointed if they didn't have it, they do show it on the 20. Not sure why they would take something like that out, it seems counterproductive....

fred dobbs They certainly are great packs. I kind of wish I kept them both.
do u still have one???
fred dobbs I don't. For Vanquest bags or packs I just have the new IBEX35, the Pilum, Trident 31 and the Mobius.
Nice hiking packs and very good explanation of both. Take care Tim and always look forward to your videos.

Hatch61 Thank you Hatch. I'm looking forward to the snow, my Subaru loves it! lol
Yes Rose, good idea. I can't ever find the perfect bag fro everything, especially for female use. Good videos! Thanks.
Great comparison review Tim! Thank you!!
Nice review Tim. Not my kind of bag but I can see where they are aimed at. Keep 'em coming my friend.
What a great review between packs. Thanks.
Steve R Thank you for watching! Much appreciated.

Great review Tim. Why don't you do an EDC video for us? I'd love to see what you carry on a daily basis.
Mostly Day Hiking Absolutely. Been planning on doing one for a while, just need to find some time.
Both are great backpacks if you're into hiking.

Just review your top three bags of your collection! I would enjoy that.
great video , you should do your top three all time favorite bags out of the 5000 you have 😁 and what makes them your all time favorites
Rosie Duarte Good idea Rosie!
Which would you recommend for a daypack when i wanna carry a laptop 15’’ ?
ibex 20 or 30 ?
Chuck Chuck Between the 20 and the 30 I'd go with the 30 personally. Great size for a day hike, not too big for a edc pack and can even be used on a light overnight trip. I do know right now they are having a Fire Sale, huge savings but they only have the wolf gray color.
thank u for answer :)
i like the wolf gray its a good color for urban Areas
I just got an Ibex 30 and it didn't have the straps on the bottom that the one in this video had.
Riley Masters It didn't come with a waist belt?
No, it didn't have the 2 rows of molle straps on the bottom of the bag.
Riley Masters Hmm, I wonder why that is. Have you contacted Vanquest? I wonder if they did away with that attachment points.
I actually just did contact them, so hopefully they'll have an answer to that.
