Greatly appreciate your videos sir and allow us to follow your unbiased journey with dialing in the new Maverick R. ( Lot of value to see, as you seem well experienced in this game from a customer standpoint ) Is the plan maybe next to get your hands on one of the first customer based Evo tunes for this new platform? ( 91 oct tune? ) Lastly, Amazing that it only took 3 hours for the MTS guys to remove the shocks out of the car, fully disassemble and revalve and then bottom up back together and fit into place again.
great info. I wonder if you can tune the ride better without smartshocks. Everybody says the car is so planted it doesn't need to stiffen the outside while cornering.
Awesome shots of the maverick R. Yours looks good. The yellow and black ones are ugly for some reason. Also, can you update us on Dandioffroad ? Haven’t seen them upload in a long time. I hope everything is good with them.
During the ride I was adjusting the shocks from comfort, sport, and sport plus. That may be some of what you are seeing. Plus I'm purposely not driving at an optimal speed. Good eye though!
One of the disadvantages with smart shoxs is there isn't a way to adjust compression and rebound outside of the three selections of comfort, sport, and sport plus. You can only adjust preload and crossovers, which are helpful, especially with stopping the rear from bottoming out coming off the big dunes.
@@kennethbruce9558 absolutely correct. For me I like the Smart Shox because I like a soft ride when possible. Then as terrain gets more challenging I can select more dampening. I do miss being able to really dampening up the rebound.
Great video, I had to go back and watch it again after watching many months ago, trying to decide between MTS and shock theropy, still in the air, have you had a chance to compare it with some of your friends in the last 8 months, trying to decide which to go with and the best pricing also?
Thanks for the props! Honestly, most people I ride with all use MTS. I can't say anything negative about ST shock tuning but I will say this. I've had difficult communications with ST (nearly a week of emails back and forth when a simple phone call could have done the trick, but I couldn't get through on the phone after multiple attempts). In contrast MTS customer service is top notch.

Love the Maverick R content. Helps with us that are having trouble finding info on their machines. Are those metal FX rims? 200 some miles on mine and already have a check engine light. Have you had any issues with start-up after sitting for a while? Mine will shut off 2 to 3 times before it'll actually start-up
These are Price Designs wheels. No check engine lights for me. Cold start problem, yes. There is a factory flash for that. Note there are a couple of recalls too. Call your dealership

I’m really surprised can-am didn’t fix this issue seeing the x3 did the same thing. Your car looks amazing and is running super smooth now 👍🏻
Thanks!

Could you do a splitscreen of the before and after (or top and bottom) So we can compare directly? Would be immensely helpful!
I thought I did. Did you see the thumbnail or watch the whole video?

I think you could. But then if you want to change anything you can just flip a switch. Give and take....

Needs more compression and rebound on the rear imo. But if you like it, that's all that matters in the end.

I thought MTS may have been changing the internals of the shock shims. I will be booking mine in to get done, I am sure.

OK that’s good to know does anybody have any discount codes for when I go to order the tunes, Springs, re-valve that you know of?
DesertSXS has 10% off MTS on their website
Just got done doing the same setup on my Mav r I’ll have it out in coosbay next weekend 🤙 how’s the 100 octane tune feel in Brandon’s car ?

what rear rack is that? I see you installed your Pumper system to it and I would like to do the same and need some info on that as well if you can?
It's the Can Am spare tire carrier. I used some aluminum angle to help mount it. Makes it a lot quieter. Wish I could post a pic here
