This video is what inspired us to start our own channel. I mean... we had been thinking about it, but it was during this video when we made the decision to give it a try. We love everything about this episode and it's what we envisioned our channel could be one day. The video and editing is just amazing. After we made a UA-cam account, we wanted to subscribe to you, but didn't know the name of your channel and we thought the title started with Bangkok Market Tour. Anyway, we are so happy to have finally found you again. SUBSCRIBED! And we will be watching more of your videos after work today. Thanks also to After the Calm, that's where we found you today! Thanks for posting such great videos and inspiring us!
the 3rd dish (4:59) isn't "Boo pad pongari curry" but it's "Khanom jeen namya"(rice noodles-with-fish-curry-sauce) , the Boo pad pongari should be Stir Fried Crab with Curry Powder.
75ur15 I know I’m flying from New York. But I’ve done intercontinental flights before so just stay awake the night before so you can sleep on the plane and not be so jet lagged.
@@cornbisque to australia in '15.....18 hours on one plane. Jet lag only hot me for the first day. Otherwise my sleep schedule was similar to theirs (I'm a night shift)
6:15 Those are "Khanom Bueang": crispy taco-like pancake. Khanom Bueang have 2 filling type sweetened and salty. Sweeten one is filled with "Foi Thong" or Thai style fio de ovos. Salty one is filled with sweetened shreaded fish and coconut. The white things are non-setting meringue. "Khanom Thang Taek" is dessert that has complete round shape and waffle-like filled with sugar and coconut before fold it in half.
Just started to watch your videos and I love it (I watched all your videos about tour in China with non-stop). You two are a sweet couple and your videos are interesting. Hope you can come to China again and visit Guangdong province, and I can be your guide.
Usually, we eat Green Papaya Salad or Somtum with Roasted Chicken and Sticky Rice. And Rice noodles is best to eat together with Papaya Salad also. You must try 😎
at 7:19 a yellow sign behind you said "น้ำตาลสดแท้ 20" pronounced "Num Tan Sod", that was plum sugar drink. if both of you still in Thailand, you should try it. it's good.
The yellow curry like dish was actually not curry it was called “kanom Jeen” which is a types of noodles eaten with a semi-thick soup like the one in your video.
@@NaickKim tung taek has soft texture instead of crunchy like kanom bueng. For the stuff of tung taek there are black sesame, sugar, shredded coconut and something else which I can not remember 😅. I use to eat it when I was young nowadays it is difficult to find tung taek on the street.
Bangkok is world of street food
Such good and cheap food there! It's amazing 😊
That's not the "Boo Pad Pongari Curry". That Thai dish is called "Kanom jean Namya Boo".😊🇹🇭
Thanks for the info Nestor Neo! A lot of these dishes are so similar it gets confusing.
This is southern style, it's more spicy and hot.
Thank you for visiting my hometown.
🎉from Thailand🇹🇭🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Yummiest Thai food we had on this trip 🙌🏻
Hands down! 👏🏻
