It was a lovely gesture to gift the eggs to the people donating the furniture.. I’m sure they appreciated it.. I love the picture frames you brought from the charity shop.. You could replace the pictures in the frames with photos of your family.. I love to see your vision come together. Well done!🎉😊❤
Are you starting a new trend? Instead of Christmas villages on the table top it looks like you are starting a village scene but hanging on your walls. That would be really interesting to see. I love it all and always such a fun journey to watch your design process. Is three lamps too much? Absolutely not especially when acquired at a bargain. And it depends on what you're doing as to which lamp you will need. If you are in a quiet house relaxing in the chair alone (casting spells) you'll probably only want the little table lamp vs game knight, then turn them all on. I saw someone recently use a flat basket similar to what you purchased as a secondary picture frame. In one basket they placed one larger picture frame within the basket and hung it on the wall and the other basket they placed a bunch of tiny pictures, like a mini gallery wall within the basket and then hung the whole thing. It was very creative and came out nice.
I would call it "cosy academical magic" style 🙂 Looks really good and a comfy cosy seat for one to read in -[ compared to the leather couches] Well done, And a wee table for your "margarita cocktail" too
Love the reading nook, and what great finds! I would call the style “Practical Mel” ☺️ Can’t wait to see how you decorate outside. And I have to mention how picturesque your living room window is and the outside matches inside. Love it!
Thank you! Practical Mel I like that! 😅 the views are insane aren’t they, pretty much every window in the house has lush green views, pinch me I’m dreaming!! 😍🍀🌸💕
Your intro made me laugh! The kids are in school and you have a reason to live again! I've heard that a lamp in every corner of a room gives it a cozy ambiance. Your room looks very cozy and your reading corner especially so.
I think the floorlamp would be better the other side of the chair away from the wall light ,love your enthusiasm with recycling preloved items enjoying your channel
Thank you! I think I’m in need of a little autumn leaf garland with some twinkly lights and it’ll be bliss 👌🤩 I’m hoping it will up my reading game for sure 🤞
Love watching you bring unwanted items to life. You certainly have a flair for interior and exterior design!
Thank you very much, it’s some times hit and miss but Pinterest helps 😅🍀🌸💕
The thrifting God's always look down on you.
Your reading corner is so cosy and homely.
You are a ray of sunshine. x ❤

I love it! It's so cozy and warm, just right for upcoming Autumn weather. I'm a writer, so anything that encourages people to read is a-ok with me! 😉
