Even though these are not RGBIC.
You can still connect them to Dreamview.
If you put them on the ceiling, just make sure you choose the apropriate light location. Like the bulb right over the TV.
I woould say instead of using the brackets, especially if you wnat to move them - get a roll of Alien tape which will hold the lights safely and are easy to move, if its a permanant set up then use the brackets
How can you connect the 2 LED strips with eachother? Can you put them both in the adapter?
Sooo I literally just got these yesterday and my light strips reels are connected to each other and can not be disconnected. It also didn’t come with the connection piece that you plugged in from the power button???
Thanks for this. Had a set I use under my bed which was easy to just install the square and have that light effect under the bed but I was always curious how to set up the longer strips across a room without going overboard and not having them in the way all over

I seen a couple of your reviews on different LED lights but which one would you recommend. Also can you connect the lights if you buy the connectors separately with this brand of lights
Yes almost every regular RGB strip can be cut with the indicators on the strips and you would need to buy the correct connectors for instance if they were waterproof or non waterproof. Because waterproof has that extra layer of gel coating which makes it thicker. And it's frankly up to you which type of strips you would like just know RGBIC cannot be cut nor extended. You can see my playlist in my channel
Since the to things to connect the led lights you cant put them one to side of a room right

Some people have gotten confused these aren't RGBIC they're normal RGB with WiFi. These cannot color chase !!! They’re generic RGB. Better strips

You should have enough just cut it when you need to.

These lights can separate yet mine are attached to both wheels and won’t allow me to separate like these.

Hey bro awesome video. Btw I got a question for your strips that you have where they easy right install? Because on the directions when I got mines I don’t know if you got the one where you had to use a blow dryer for the adhesive to stick in your cases did you have to use a blow dryer cause I tried to do it and it didn’t work and I didn’t want to take them back so I just taped them up on my ceiling because I feel when I tried to take the tape off the strip The adhesive would stick to the tape so when I put it up on my ceiling it won’t stick so I was having difficulty with that
No don't use a blow dryer during installation it softens the adhesive so you can peel off the cover for the tape
Or use double sided tape

Hey I just saw your video and i don’t know if I heard right but the one you had before where they nexillumi lights are those actually brighter then the Grover ones ? Asking cause I just bought the nexillumi because the govee ones sold out and I had bad experiences with buying good led lights so which ones of these two you recommended more ?
The nexillumi was brighter the only downside to these Govee ones is that they're not that bright

These ones are normal RGB not RGBIC. So if you want the cooler ones they're more expensive.

100% the nexillumi they're brighter and have better music mode. I kinda regret taking them down
You can also buy a smart plug to control with smart assistants
It would have been helpful if you showed what they looked like mounted while off. I have no idea how they look when they're not being used.
they are white and look very similar to most led strips out there if you want to cover it you would need a diffusion cover

This was a great video! Quick question: if I cut the led strip, can I use that excess strip and put it in another place in my room? Cuz then I’ll need another plug to connect to the excess strip right?
Yes you'll need that as well as a connector. If it's a small amount left like less than 5ft don't do it it's not worth it. It'll cost more to buy the things when you can just buy a new strip

Technically it would be 65.6ft because each strip is 32.8ft. But for the most part you’re correct. And glad you did also

It’s really easy just have brackets on either end to hold up the weight and don’t press hard. You don’t need to fill in the full corner

What if your left with extra strip
I need help setting them up, my room is 50ft and they are 65.5, and they come with 2 32.5 feet rolls, will the led lights still work if I trim some of the other roll , like, will both rolls still work with 1 remote , even with the 15 feet cut off, and how do I set it up at the end, when the 2 strips meet.

If you seen the RGBIC they don't have anything above 32ft but if you want normal RGB that you can cut then get these

yes you can group them in the app to act as one i made a video on it for "rgbic" but it works the same for all same model strips made by govee.
