John Dreamers Music kept me strong and fighting thorough the darkest nights of my soul.. 9 years counting and tho I haven't emerged victorious I have not succumbed. I will keep going until the day comes for me stand against Hades. True Strength was like an elixir of strength and valor for the soul. Wherever he is now... This song is going to make me cry. -cries- WHY SO EPIC???
I think this music is about not giving up.
I know many people who stopped playing Dark Souls because it was too hard for them. Then I know people who are saying how they beat Dark Souls with broken swords and with that ring that makes you weak or whatever...
But for me, Dark Souls are about something else.
When I played Dark Souls (and I'm still playing my first playthrought by the way, and this is still happening to me, again and again) I was defeated so many times... there were bosses but also general monsters who kept killing me, again, and again.
But instead of quiting, I said "You're not going to defeat me. You can kill me thousand times, but I will NOT give up!". And I rised. And I died again. And again. And again. But I kept fighting.
I kept getting better. I learned their every move, every attack, I tried numeros of tacticts. And I defeated them. And I felt great.
It gave me the feeling that never game has ever gave me.
For me, this is what this music is about.
John Dreamer made not just one of the best epic music tracks, he also made music that, I think, captures Dark Souls perfectly.

I agree I beat the first one and still playing dark souls 2 I love that game it's challenging it's like reality u need to plan 2-3 moves ahead know when to block dodge and know when to engage your opponent one wrong move will get u killed also on a side note the classes mean nothing you build ur character to what u want him to be if that's a spell caster a tank or someone who just goes for crits(back stabs and riposte) that's what makes it fun if ur going to quit because u keep dying then u won't get far it's like quiting because something is too hard for you to handle

The game may be boring to you. But think of the thousands upon thousands of other fans who love the game just how it is? This game CAN be epic if you make it, and it can be fun when you try to have fun. Dark Souls 1 and 2 can be extremely fun and amazing to play. Putting your head into it, and thinking as if you WERE the character you were playing as could make it so much more interesting, and feel what they were feeling. It isn't always about the combat, you know. The emotional bond and thoughts of you and your character play a big part too. ^^
Jinxx Maldoon i'm sorry to say i had no emotional bond with any of the characters, the story is bland and the lore is boring and doesn't have any memorable boss fights etc.. but the game by itself is amazing, it's just not worthy of the dark souls name

If people could build such epic structures and cities now days. I mean its no where near impossible and when we have build it that we try to get away most of the technology and really live with the nature, the world and its inhabitants.
