@@Lionheart1188I think that on the One X it is running at a resolution of or close to 1440p and then reconstructing to 4K, so no as you can see in the video 1440p 60fps is NOT always possible. Remember that even the PS5 and the Series X do NOT run at a native 4k and that they too are reconstructing from a lower resolution. Whilst the One X does have a powerfull GPU it's CPU is still the ancient and inefficient jaguar core, which simply can't compute fast enough to feed the GPU the needed data, that and slower and smaller amounts of RAM makes it impossible. Nice one. DF should do like they done after xbox 360 /ps3 gen. They usually tested previous now they only test the mid last gen one X and ps4 pro sometimes. Is also interesting to see how the proper last gen consoles can handle this new games. Thanks, nice job.
To be honest 2013 hardware should be left in the past. Releasing new games on ancient hardware is just limiting new games potential. Slow spinning hard drives and awful cpus have no place defining a modern games vision. This cross gen stuff needs to stop. It never used to be a thing.
@@theoldpcgamer77 I am not saying that i like to see new games released on old hardware, but like it or not, the devs would not forget that huge base. @8IghtyFour What has the main output resolution got to do with anything. The resolution of the game is what matters. If it's not native it will look upscaled and blurry. I wish people would stop saying this version is 1080p or 4k as they aren't. They are all upscaled to fit tv input resolutions.
PS4 Pro is still going to be "current gen" for me, I only really play exclusives on it anyway. Cross gen will be another two years at least. Hell you can't even "get" new consoles, it's definitely the worst supposed launch in history. Not just the lack of systems but lack of any new games, especially for Xbox. This next gen is a joke. Well if you like 30fps which no one said ever. At least the new consoles have gone back to 60fps like it should be since gaming began. 3d at 30fps was acceptable when it first appeared in the PS1 days but when 3d looked decent graphically 60fps should have become the norm again like 2d.
