Girl. So here's the thing...I know you're busy and all, but I'm loving your daily videos for vlogmas. Like, I vote that you keep doing them after it's over if you're able 🙋♀️🗳☑️ Just throwing that out there 😁
I have a red flower lamp I bought in the 1960's like the green one you saw had it hung in my kitchen for 50 yrs, put it in the attic 5 years ago when I did over my kitchen, the new light very modern ,made my white and blue kitchen very cold looking, up to the attic I went❤ hung it over the glass kitchen table Viola! Perfect!😊
Amanda, people like us, who can find the good in every antique era are perhaps an oddity. Long ago I decided to embrace this in myself and my home and now my antique booths are furnished in what I call eclectic and I am very proud of this quirk in my personality...75 1/2 years...New Hampshire...
You could scan old photos into a collage and print out as wrapping paper or to cover the inside back of a cupboard. I've seen scanned photos transferred onto tote bags, tablecloths, napkins etc. And you get to keep the original and reuse. They are copyright free so you could have a copy place print out bigger copies and sell as prints. I've also seen people make a xmas card tree so you could clothespin some to a tabletop tree. Ha! ok I'm done now!
@@teresadravesdaane4654 My BF collects only children and mixes them behind her toys and dolls on bookshelves. I collect my city (which are hard to come by - usually too pricey) and also a sucker for any of New Orleans! Collect on!
I think many of us would enjoy just some short videos of just how you do business, finds, processes, etc. I enjoy all of your content and I’m always challenged to try something new.
We went there Thanksgiving week after hunting down your booth at The Warehouse! I was drawn to those ornate wooden mirrors and the 8ft cabinet, too. I didn't buy anything since I would've had to bring it back to NY, then pack it up and move it back down there once we close in January. So dying to do the tour of all the little antique stores we passed on 29 north of Charlottesville on the way back home... Ruckersville, Madison, Front Royal... Definitely on my to do list for spring/summer!
Love this place. Yes I have seen the salt and pepper shakers before. Good price on them. I usually love the music back ground you choose. But today was not my favorite kind of got on my nerves. Can't wait until tomorrow's post.
These booths are filled with random things that need to be curated like your space. That’s what separates you above them. Your design suggests to people how to use them or display items in their home. I wish all spaces were pretty like yours. I had a shop and I had a talented women curate my displays. It raised sells. You should market your talents to others.
Do you think some people just pay their booth rent almost like paying for a storage unit? The booths that are slap full and always have the same stuff in them cannot be making much money.
I’m almost sure the burgundy ornaments tied together (@9:57) are NOT old. I was in a boutique recently and they had tubs of the same small ornaments individually selling for $1 each. But those ornaments would be great filler on a small tree, showcasing a collection antique or vintage ornaments. I’m enjoying Vlogmas. I ‘found’ you during last year’s December marathon as I started a showcase in a local mall. Now I have a prime location for my case and in August, my own tiny 6’ x 8’ booth. I’m on track to make 4x my booth rent so life is good. Thank you for your joyful inspiration, passion, love of antiques & vintage, and sense of style. To thine own self, be true. :)
Good morning from chilly Ruckersville. Great peek into one of my favorite pastimes…and when you said some good “junk” in here, you meant JUNQUE…..which we all understand….ok, back to shopping….🥰
Ok, I’m so glad to hear you say you are discovering your style…I assumed your style was similar to the aesthetic of your curated spaces, I assumed you’d decorate your new home like your booths….but looking around your home life, (does that make me a voyeur) I don’t see it. So, I’m curious to watch “you” evolve. And Mike, he’s got an opinion too as your electrician/partner. And Tori, as your sister/partner, I can see how she could influence you (you know, like you wait until she leaves to buy the mercury glass 🤫)
in·va·lid - /ˈinvələd/ noun a person made weak or disabled by illness or injury. Just in case you were still curious lol.. it was on the jar you were reading!
Picking with you and Torie ( w/glasses!) is a perfect way to start the day. I particularly love the early 20th century furniture. I can smell the pulp from here. I'm kind of new here but I've never seen you pick up an advertising tin before. Your picks are great. Thanks for a great video.
So many great things! I’m figuring out my style too. I’m also trying to be more intentional with anything I purchase. I find artwork so difficult to buy. I never know what will look good and where to put it. I constantly look at it though 😂
I found this place by accident. The nicest people were working there. I had chosen some things from one of the lady's booth and she told me the history of the items. I will definitely go back.
What an ‘tiquers find day!❤…Such a discerning eye🎉😂 I’d grab those first hand painted glasses, moon painting and that basket…for starters…Yep, Scotties picture for damn sure. Loved it! That Verol jar, marrow holder last word is pronounced IN-Va-LID- meaning an medically or physically impaired person. Fascinating visit!
You have an educated eye for being so young...great call on those "antique" sconces which were probably from the 90's in reality. Sometimes I think booth owners should have a degree/certification process of some kind because so many people misrepresent or incorrectly identify items they are selling. I loved the butterfly taxidermy and those green glass jars you were looking at💚💚💚.
I agree, not old but reproduction "Kugel" style mini mercury glass ornaments. The authentic German made Victorian Era/late 1800s ones can sell for $$$, "rare" ones for 1k+!
I’ve seen AT LEAST 5 treasures that missed.
😂😂😂 you knew it!
It happens to the best of us, you can't see it all. Love your shopping with your sister videos! P.S. which ones were they?
🤣

I’m in the same boat... I too am easily influenced and I’m trying to be more methodical about what I buy. 21:14
This was a great shopping trip! I really appreciate your time and effort to entertain all of us.
I enjoyed this shopping trip! I’m always on the edge of my seat wondering what you’ll buy and leave behind! What fun!!
I just loved the bird salt n pepper shakers, I would have bought them for sure.
Thanks for taking us along n telling us prices too.
That mall was so amazing! I do love your style and how u are finding yourself. Hey, it’s a process and glad I’m along for the ride.

Love these videos, thank you for doing vlogmas! You have such a good eye. Definitely would have bought the birds and the moon pic.
The love bird salt and pepper shakers 😍😍 so cute!
I gasped at the same time you did as you showed the butterflies in the glass shadow box / frames. Stunning!
How fun! I love that you showed items and said the price of each.
Drooling here!😂
The clipboard was funny.

I love the shop-alongs! But more importantly I get my AM daily fix during December.

This was a fantastic video! You showed so many items I had never seen before. Very interesting!

Thank you for showing us the Verona antique mall - I love the hanging lamps!!!
How fun! We will be RVing to Basset in Spring will have to take a drive to Verona to Visit! I have seen those ornaments at Home Goods 😊
Those octagon copper pots and the milk glass wooden ladle!!!! I NEED THEM
Green light was cool
So many great things! I’m figuring out my style too. I’m also trying to be more intentional with anything I purchase. I find artwork so difficult to buy. I never know what will look good and where to put it. I constantly look at it though 😂
I really liked the love bird salt and pepper shakers on the stand. $25 seemed like a great price.
I think I bought one of those mini oil lamps a couple of months ago.
I just got back from an antique mall myself, but I obviously can't get enough. Haha!! I loved going through the mall with you today!
Would love to see you visit Duke’s in Lexington!
It’s on the list!
I found this place by accident. The nicest people were working there. I had chosen some things from one of the lady's booth and she told me the history of the items. I will definitely go back.
These are my favourite kinds of videos
That tramp art mirror was stunning!
Haven’t seen you vlog for a loooooong time! Hope you are well and too busy with life!👋🏻

I'm not sure why...but I really loved the magazine cover with the Scottie dogs on it too. Great find.
Also love that black hutch!!’ 🤩
Absolutely loved that!!
Love the ash trays, I am a smoker and you cannot find nice ash trays any longer!
Loving vlog mas🎁🎄
It's not that your easily influenced, it's that you appreciate ALOT of preloved pieces from all of life! Nothing wrong with that girl! 😊
Enjoyed the shopping trip!! I would love to shop in that store!

Haha the chorizo call 😂 it cooks so quickly it just needs to be a darker color and it’s cooked
I loved this video...more please

My birthday is in May, too ❤❤❤
I need to put my Instagram in my booth too! You’ve motivated me!
Maybe MK is watching and will be inspired to showcase her business & get on the socials! I do hope you can meet her/him sometime. That would be cool.
The basket is a garlic basket. The other almost looks like the type that fits a baby scale.
The red ornaments are not old. I have some, can’t remember exactly where I bought them but they’re new.
I agree, not old but reproduction "Kugel" style mini mercury glass ornaments. The authentic German made Victorian Era/late 1800s ones can sell for $$$, "rare" ones for 1k+!
yea I saw a lot you missed. everyone is always talking about business cards in peoples booths. Our store does not allow us to have our own cards.
I think a lot of that stuff is overpriced. Everything isn’t overpriced but a lot is.
May 27 is my birthday too!
May 27 is my birthday too 🎉
Does your sister have her own booth?
Seems pricey, but I've been out of the business for 30 years
I'm sorry but I had to stop the video to go listen to the song you mentioned in the beginning 😅
An Invalid is a sickly or bedridden person.
Also influenced or INSPIRED? 💕💕💕💕
Those red ornaments were from home goods and are from India
Treasures everywhere. Best to go in with cash. When the money is gone, you are done.
Invalid: IN-vuh-lid. A person made weak by illness or disability. Same spelling as in-VAL-id, but not the same meaning. Just trying to help. 😊
I’m primitive… everything I like, you pass by. 😡
🤩
You gotta go thrifting more, you can find good things for your booth there and the prices will be better
Love your videos but for second time hard to watch bec shaky. Maybe I am use to you putting the camera down as you do a reset or fix something.
Invalid has two pronunciations and meanings. You will slap you forehead when it clicks.
Trying to meet ME 👍🏻
invalid - as in a person that is unwell from illness or injury.
Don't you get a trade price? I never see you haggle like Drew Pritchard does.
Omg pleaseeeeeee stop going so fast with the camera I love your channel but can’t watch if it’s so fast🙏🏼
I haven’t seen you go to yard sales you would get some great stuff to sell at fantastic prices 🦘🐨❤️I can’t see how you make much of a profit 🦘🦘🦘
