- The Great Scale Model Train show at the MD State Fairgrounds is held multiple times each year and is always a treat to attend. This is a brief video of todays show Feb 1 2025 to give you a flavor of what to expect. For more information and for future show dates visit www.GSMTS.com Thanks for all who stopped to say hello!
Really enjoyed your video. New subscriber here from CA. So many smaller vendors you showcased and are on my list for future shopping. Many are hard to find without channels like yours. I met the guys from Lunde Studios at a show here in CA last year and got a few building from them. One of them is from MD so I'm guessing they were also there. I grew up in Baltimore and Hagerstown and went to UMBC. Last time home in the Fall my mom and I toured the roundhouse museum in Hagerstown. Pretty neat.
@15:10 now there are 2 less than previously as I just ordered 2 from MM and mentioned your name in the notes Al. Thanks for sharing. Cheers Rob
Thank you for your purchase. Please share your progress and finished models.
Nicely done,,thanks for sharing,,😊
Was a great show wish I didn’t have to go home and miss Sunday. Hope you had fun.
Will be there tomorrow with my shopping list!
Thx Al. Looks interesting. I will be attending.
The O scale around 12:45-13:00 were absolutely amazing!!
It was a great show!! I picked up a few good finds
So many interesting models, even though I now do European/German I see stuff that can be adapted there. Especially the detail parts and models of worn out wagons and buildings.
Very impressive card stock buildings on the traction layout.
They are nice structures. The layout is right across from my booth.
Must have missed you and Alex on the floor today. I was there 9A-3P heard them call out your name around 10am to the main table. Tell Howard to get well soon. I would say look for the guy with the red flannel jacket with a gray hood but seams everyone got one now. lol.
Good coverage Al. Good show as always
@@joeraderblackrockcentralrr thanks
Was that Joe R in the opening scene? Lol. Thanks for showing us around the show.
miniprints booth has a youtube meet and greet every year, Saturday at noon . maybe we see you all next year
Heard your name on the pa. Sorry I missed you. Maybe next time.
The snow sticks on me`s that there windshield, new whippers be the think.
Enjoyed the video. There were two brass locomotive dealers there that you covered briefly, but I am not sure what their company names were. I think the first one was Tommy's Brass Trains (at 1 minute) and the other one was Brass out the .....(at 25 minutes). I tried searching the internet for them but was not able to locate either of them. Can you provide any additional information on them regarding a web site?
I think I figured out the second one from the floor maps. Howies Brass Trains. Their website is sort of disorganized with freight cars appearing under the brass diesels tab. other items under the wrong tab, and no search function.
@MODOCANDLASSEN yes the first with the ladies was Howies brass trains google search will pull up. The second vendor info should be on the sign in the video. If there are particular pieces you are looking for email me at alpug1@verizon.net.
