Planning shot lists isn’t really my thing-I’m more of a run-and-gun type, so very often I end up missing shots a lot. but this year, i will try more on planning✌🏼
I’m glad I saw your video.. I am one of those people who vlog my boring life 😂😂😂.. no one is watching but still making videos.. 😂 I am just happy doing it. 😍
It's good to see you are back. A few years ago my wife and I were wasting time at a pop-up market before a show at the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City and the 1.0 version of you and your ex-partner went storming by with cameras in tow. We tried to catch up to you to say hello, but you know how it goes in CDMX... You guys were gone as quickly as you arrived, but it was a cool moment I remember from that trip. All the best!
Love it!!! 5:31 "the key we need to make it as easy as possible to stick with something and getting better at filing ourselves, so we should start by documenting everyday" is really good message ❤❤❤
Haha it’s quite strange when translated directly to English, I don’t even know if “excellent” is the right translation but if I said “sudyod” mostly I feel like something is beyond good or great 😂 thanks so much for watching multiple videos in my little corner on UA-cam 🤗
Sawasdee! This is a great message. My wife has been asking me to do this - document my every day/ordinary life in Thailand from a foreigner's perspective. My excuse is that I don't want to walk around with a camera, but something you said actually made me think about another thing - the more I workout, practice kungfu, and use my camera, the more likely my daughter will also be interested in that stuff. Also, I love your property! I'm crying about the cost of land/houses here in Chonburi. I'd better get back to work on these videos!
Sawasdee ka! Your wife gave you some great advice about documenting your life as a foreigner in Thailand, I can see so many benefits for you to doing that. But if you’re not feeling up to it, that’s what matters most. Content creation is as much a mental game as it is a creative one, so there’s no need to force yourself into something you’re not ready for, even if you already see the potential benefits. If I would suggest, since you’re not keen on walking around with a camera, why not start by filming your life at home in Thailand? you can still share your perspective about living in Thailand while living you life at home, you can talk about cost of living, the grocery, the challenge, Maybe try cooking some Thai food if you into cooking too haha! As a Thai, I love seeing foreigners embrace Thai life, doesn't matter indoors or outdoors-it’s always so fun to watch. and who knows, starting in a comfortable space might create momentum, over time, you might find yourself feeling like take the camera out and about. That’s actually what happened to me lol Oh, and this isn’t my property, it’s my parents’ place. 😄 I totally get you about Chonburi ! We’re in Cha-Am, and it’s much easier on the wallet when it comes to the cost of living here haha. 🙌
Hello Tah. I love how you're starting over. I've known you for years since you were traveling to different countries in another popular channel. Please keep making videos like this! and thank you for being yourself - it's the best gift you give to us, your audience. Love from Philippines!
I feel oftentimes like you, experimenting with the camera, natural light and collecting shooting ideas. I struggle a little with consistency, unfortunately. I just started out. So, it was good to see so much similarities in the process, although I probably live on the other half of the world. 😊
That's so cool to hear! 😊 I think experimenting is such a fun part of the process, it’s where i realised all the creativity happens beyond the script/shot outline. Consistency is definitely a challenge, i totally feel you, in my experience, when i judge my idea too much, i lack consistency hahha
Tah, your videos are truly inspiring! ✨ You beautifully capture the little joys of life, from cozy moments to creative storytelling. Your content not only resonates with aspiring creators like me but also educates and encourages us to overcome self-doubt and express ourselves meaningfully. Watching you makes me want to create with purpose and emotion. Thank you for sharing your journey and wisdom! My name is Pavan, and I’m from India. 🇮🇳 I’ve always wanted to document my life, my journey, and my learnings-exploring filmmaking and storytelling while capturing every small joy and failure. I’ve tried, but only in small, inconsistent bursts due to limited time. My only tool is my smartphone, and I know it’s enough to start. But between my 9-to-5 job and family financial responsibilities, I often have to prioritize work and stability. Still, I try to create whenever I can, though inconsistency, procrastination, and overthinking sometimes hold me back. I know I need to create more and consume less. Despite everything, I truly believe that I will achieve what I’ve always wanted-and very soon. I hope we meet someday, in some corner of the world. 🌍 But before that, I want to achieve something meaningful in life. Thank you for inspiring me to keep going! 🚀
This was so encouraging. I'm always waiting for something extraordinary to happen so I can start filming and making my videos, but the thing is, these moments are rare in my life 😂. I feel like nothing is good enough, but watching your video kinda inspired me 🌻
It’s so easy to feel like we need some special, epic moment to start filming, I’m so glad the video inspire you, i need to also remind myself to practice more with simple life 🌟
WOW this video was exactly what I needed today! It's funny because I saw a video of someone on youtube telling "oh vlogs are not a good way to grown your channel", I mean they can be right but what if I enjoy making vlogs not only for myself (to always remember trips, on even my time living in USA) or for other people that are curious to know more about the places I went... And I wasn't very secure about my vlog skills because I just started a few months ago but I found your video so inspiring and I actually enjoyed this vlog of you living life and playing with your cats. 💫 There's beauty on the simple things 💛
I think it’s all about balance. It’s great to have videos that let you explore your creativity and make something just because it feels good, a passion project, a vlog. But it’s also good to mix in videos that have the potential to reach a bigger audience, like tutorials or tips that people might search for, i think... 😊 Don’t stress too much about your skills, you’ve only been at it for a few months, and the fact that you’re already putting yourself out there is amazing! Keep going 😊
Feels like it is wondefully shot and put together, love the work you did with colours, this inspires me to get started and learn editing, color grading and to consistently be at it at filming
This video just showed up on my homepage, and I don't know why, but thank you for making it! It is beautiful! It's a reminder for me to focus on the present day, the only thing we truly have, and be grateful for those precious moments. 😊 You have a new subscriber!
Thank you so much for this video Tah. I looove how you built teaching into your vlog. This is the kind of video I’d love to be able to make 😊 It was so captivating to watch and even listening to you was soothing 🫶🏾
Something about this video made me pick up my. camera, set on a table, and talk for 10 minutes about what I have been doing in life for the last 6 months - settling in a new country, starting over, looking for jobs and all - I have always into vlogging but never actively pursued it. Hopefully will publish with 1 video tonight and going forward. One video at a time, let's see!
That’s amazing! Sometimes it just takes that little spark to get started, and I’m so glad this video gave you that push. Your story sounds really interesting. One step at a time, you’ve got this! 🚀📹
Great video! I really enjoyed seeing the World from the perspective of a Ground photographer. I use many of the techniques you use in the Drone world. You have a new sub!
exactly, until now I only post or shoot when there are moments that I consider the best, such as when traveling, because I think there is no point in documenting my boring life, but as you said, it can actually improve my skills.
I totally feel you. On my other channel, I was all about travel content, and honestly, it ended up stressing me out. I used to think the exact same thing that filming my simple or “boring” life wasn’t worth it. But then, during a tough time in my life, I got completely hooked on day in the life or morning routine videos. Watching people go about their day.... like cleaning, writing a to-do list, reading, drinking coffee, or cooking, was so inspiring to me haha i think that’s the beauty of simple life videos... they really connect with people. and as a creator, they’re a good, easiest way to practice filming daily. Plus, i think we never know who might find inspiration in what feels just normal to us 😊
Sawasdee ka, such a nice surprise, i checked your channel, thought you are Thai but then i see you move to Thailand, feel so glad you pick my homeland, you narak mak mak in your video kaa, khob khub ka !:)
@ aww thank you so much 🙈you are narak mak maak omg, and have such a lovely vibe! and i feel so lucky to be able to live here and enjoy your beautiful country :) also glad hazie could bring you some happiness haha, she loves it here too 💕
Just found you in my feed. Thank you for this very calm and enjoyable video. Practice makes perfect , my new wisdom words 😂, you have a new follower 🌺😍 Regards from Sweden
i think you can still make great videos even during cloudy season... lighting condition on cloudy days is actually great too, the vibe would be different from the vibe in this video, but with your cloudy condition you can get cool blue and grey tones which is so cinematic in my opinion if you film outdoor... otherwise i will do indoor vlog hahha
What’s been your biggest struggle with Vlogging your life? 🧐
Planning shot lists isn’t really my thing-I’m more of a run-and-gun type, so very often I end up missing shots a lot. but this year, i will try more on planning✌🏼
starting :-) I just posted my first video and I was so stressed before hitting record. But afterwards I was so proud and felt so accomplished
I’m glad I saw your video.. I am one of those people who vlog my boring life 😂😂😂.. no one is watching but still making videos.. 😂 I am just happy doing it. 😍
The hardest part is starting instead of keep waiting for the perfect time!
A content creator once said, what's boring to you can be interesting for someone else
I agree 🚀✨

Wow, what a small world! it's amazing that you remembered and took the time to share this story. Next time you should shout my name in public haha 😂
Ahh...the algorithm working like a charm for a change! Loved your video, and the timing couldn't have been better.
glad you love it, thanks so much 🙈

i need to remind myself that so often lol

hey may i ask what should i make video while it's cloudy season in my city now? i feel like everything just terrible
i think you can still make great videos even during cloudy season... lighting condition on cloudy days is actually great too, the vibe would be different from the vibe in this video, but with your cloudy condition you can get cool blue and grey tones which is so cinematic in my opinion if you film outdoor... otherwise i will do indoor vlog hahha
Nice
