1st Gen Tundra DIY A/C Coil Cleaning

Cleaning the AC coil on my 05 tundra will work on any 1st gen. It was really dirty with all kinds of debris blocking the coil. With some simple tools you can bring back the AC in your truck, hope this video helps someone who may need to clean their AC

Philips screwdriver
Shop vac
Shop vac automotive kit
Extended reach grabbing tool from harbor freight

While down in that area, I recommend removing the fan and wiping off the blades. Mine were filthy, and after cleaning blew much more air and was quieter.

I saw the same video you watched. Dude with the red truck? I bet it blows a lot harder. Can't believe they didn't put a cabin air filter. Gotta do it to mine too. It barely blows at max speed.

it must have been that one, its been awhile since ive seen it. I know me either can't believe it but this definitely helps restore it. also someone commented about pulling the fan and cleaning it. I would do next time I'm in there.

So i can use water rather then the coil cleaner?

I would recommend some kind of cleaner to spray on the coils
