I had all the right tools but never put them to full use until this. After an hour I have half my house done. Was it ever needed. Those "phantom" smells that you smell every so often but don't know where they come from, well it was my walls! I did add some febreze and went around with a magic eraser for some of the buffs that wouldn't wipe off. My house looks like it's just been freshly painted and it's nice and bright again. I can see the sunlight reflect from my walls again. This is so easy too, a nice workout to boot and I'm so happy I found this cleaning tip!

@@Molly-je6qf it did! Some hot water, some fabuloso and mop made quick work of the smell. Went back like 3 days later to do the walk through and you couldn't tell I'd been smoking blunts all year in the house lol. Just a note, I have a carpet cleaner so I cleaned the carpets and that helped too. But smoke sticks to walls so I think cleaning em was the kicker.

Tried this today, and it got rid of a weird smell in our new house. We just replaced the carpet and even got new furniture and I could still smell this weird funk when walking down the stairs. Cleaned the walls and now it's gone!
I will say I was too lazy to go over everything a second time with the water-wet mop. I figured a little baking soda on the walls never hurt anyone (I can't see it or feel it) 😆

Damp rids, the large size from Home Depot. Also hepa ion air purifiers (if it’s in your budget)

If the walls are dirty, like kitchen walls, wash them first with Mr Clean or something like that and then steam clean it. If the walls are just dusty that accumulated odors, then just vacuum them and then steam clean them. You can’t go wrong when you have a steam cleaner that cleans drapes and furniture and walls and ceilings! Steam kills germs too.

Does it remove a heavy curry smell from years of cooking it in the house?????????

You can add some ORIGINAL pinesol, the brown one. It’s a deodorizer. That will help combat the heavy odors from your house. Hope this helps!

Will this not cause damage to paint on walls? We have concrete walls with cement plaster & putty and paint over it

Not if you have a decent quality paint on the walls. It's actually water resistant. Ceilings are another story. Some contractors use a very cheap, thin paint on ceilings. Test a small area first.

Is the print on the wall at the 1 minute 18 second mark mounted on foam core board and is it mounted on the wall with command strips?

Does this keep the weed smell away for ever? Do you need keep doing once in awhile? I like this idea out of all the ones I have seen. Nice job. Will let you know.

Yes doing it only once will keep the weed smell forever away. You will never have to worry about that ever again. I hope you can sense my sarcasm
