My biggest detraction from the S21 series is that Samsung ditched expandable storage. I've been a staunch Samsung Galaxy user since the S Captive (I've had the S4, S7, and now on the S9+) since the beginning of my smartphone days. That extra storage to use my phone as a mobile offline entertainment device (especially now with 2 kids that can't leave the car too much when we leave the house) not to mention as someone who occadionally vlogs, that storage is a lifesaver. I even started editing photos on the fly with my phone coupled with my Canon M50. I may upgrade to the S20 series because of this. I hope Samsung reintroduced expandable storage on future releases.
I thought that too until a looked at how much storage was on my micro sd, it wasn't very much... I got the 512 version of the Ultra and only have 20% of it used so far...
@@lbeetech My S9+ is only 64gb + a 128gb SD card. Its just adequate but I could use more if I was to only use my phone to vlog and do more photo edits. I have at least half a dozen kids movies on my phone plus 6 games.

I was given this phons as a gift and didn't knew much about it until i looked it up and was blown away by the fact that i now have a flagship device. Im still using my LG K51 which is a very good budget phone and this month marks one year that ive had it. I cant wait to get this baby set up.
The only issue I have with my s21+ is signal reception quality. It's just bad signal reception 25-30% less than various mid range phones I had around my house. Really disappointed with that
Good video mate , its good the plus has flat screen , this has been one my gripes for years now, my previous 3 phones all had curved edge screens, and they are not all bad. ,but imo definitely more cons than pros with the curved edge screens . If samsung had hung onto the headphone jack and SD card, I may have bought Galaxy No. 5 , alas i`m disappointed in the direction that Samsung has taken with removing the old convenience features , even if they are still a good phone.

It was a Really nice video and I really liked it and you reviewed everything perfectly!🙌💯 Don't forget to talk about the edge screen in s21+ and any other one ui device, you can add a the whether, the clipboard, the calculator, and you have smart select in there whixh you can easily take a screenshot ina specific area or pin a picture into your screen and continue using your smartphone while that picture is pinned on your screen, you can add the apps that you usually use for quick access, you can click on them so you can open them, or you can drag those apps from the edge screen to maltitask either to open it in split screen view or pop us view, in split screen you can add those two apps as a shortcut in the edge screen, or you can swap the places of the split screen apps if you want. And if you want to use an app in pop up view which allows an app to be opened in a separate window like how it is in desktop, you can decrease and increase the transparency, recise the window, move it, and you can minimise it into a small floating icon on the screen to expand it i to a window again later. There are tons of other features on thia device and on any other One UI phone, but the once I talked in here are one of my favourites because they are a life saver for me and it is really useful for me as a student! I really like the video, keep it up🙌
just saw this now and i thought that the noticeable gap between the back and the edge was only on my phone, i got so worried that it might be somewhere water can seep in and render the ip68 useless. it's relieving thing to hear that it's true to all s21+ devices and not just mine.

Yeah Dex is great, but in real world experiment, it is not as practical as for moderately intensive work. A tablet would be much more practical. Yeah, I much love the idea of Dex, but still, it is still not fully matured.
I was a Note1 big screen adopter. Then I skipped other Notes and decided to go for Note7. And guess what, it got recalled. Have a Note9 now. Been using it for 2 years. Had screen burn-in. Touchscreen not all that precise. Good phone overall but could be better.
Here in Lebanon the price between the s21 & S21 Plus is only $50 So the S21 (128GB) is for $725 And S21 Plus (256gb) for $775 Yes for real !! (Also s21 ultra 256GB for only $965)
Hard to see why people would pay $1000 for this phone. It is okay, nothing that sets it above the $1000 crowd, in fact, beaten by most at that price, and although it can be found discounted, so can the competition, so the YT creators now pushing that line should also say it is a two-way street, with other brands also discounting? As for trade-ins, these are slightly more generous in the US, but outside, say the UK, you are just getting what your phone is worth secondhand, at best. I think I would get a mid-range phone around $500, which makes 2-3 sacrifices but saves you $500? The s20SE has been as low as £400 on eBay (new) and as that is not Exynos, is much more compelling. Of course, every $1000 phone in a vacuum will be praised by reviewers, but you have to be nuanced and take it in the context of the real world, and the s21+ seems a tough buy.
