Why am I getting to know about Salman Saab after 36 years of my life? I can thank Lallantop for introducing me to him. I grew up loving Javed Saab but didn’t know there was a bigger gem in the Akhtar family which was unknown to most young generation till now.
He is the grand grandson of 1857 freedom fighter Shamsul Ulema Fazl-e-Haq Khairabadi who died in Andaman Islands (Kala Pani), British India. Grandson of famous poet Muztar Khairabadi, son of Jan Nisar Akhtar, brother of Javed Akhtar and nephew of Majaz.
What a remarkable personality of Dr. Salman and at the same time, questions raised by interviewer are wonderfully interesting, thoughtful and intelligent. Thanks for bringing out this shining star, by the way it visibly indicates interviewer's own greatness in all aspects. Please keep up the great work going.

बहुत-बहुत शुक्रिया आलोक जी,इस interview के लिए, बहुत पसन्द आया, मैं इसमे 2 बातें कहना चाहूँगी, एक तो यह कि शब्द जो भी बोले वह सही बोले, चपाती को chapatti बोलना ठीक नहीं, उसे chapatti इसलिए बच्चे ने बोला क्योंकि उसे इंग्लिश alphabets में chapatti लिखते हैं, पर मैं इस बात से इत्तेफाक रखती हूँ कि अपनी बात ,शाइर, कहानी nazm इत्यादि के लिये अलग अलग भाषाओं के रोज़मर्रा इस्तेमाल होने वाले शब्दों का इस्तेमाल करने में कोई हर्ज़ नहीं होना चाहिए, परंतु जो शब्द इस्तेमाल हो उनका उच्चारण सही होना चाहिए। दूसरा मैं कहना चाहूँगी की जावेद जी no डाऊट बहुत अच्छे शायर हैं और सिर्फ लेखन ही उनका काम व कमाई का ज़रिया हैं परंतु सलमान अख्तर जी पेशे से renowned डॉ भी हैं writer के अलावा, जो जावेद जी नहीं है, इसलिए कौन किस से ज्यादा success full है तुलना करना ठीक नहीं. आपको एक बार फिर से धन्यवाद, सलमान जी को सुन कर बहुत अच्छा लगा
