@@Zcee im not sure if this is related, but like a long time ago aqua went to tw server to avoid stream snipers in jp server, but the playstyle in tw server or other chinese servers is really aggressive while jp, plays extremely safe, and one time aqua left her teammates alone and ran away, then some irrational people in the tw apex community, started harassing aqua on her stream, but this is just known by the chinese hololive fans, so im not sure if its the case that stopped aqua from playing apex Idk bout other stuff as im not too familiar with aqua's channel, not my main oshi

She still tried to communicate before, she wish she could, but it makes her hesitate for everything, and feel troubled when someone misunderstand her, it's just not fun at all for her and doesn't actually work. So she went back to her "Sololive" game style, where she follows her squad but won't coordinate much with them, which makes high level play (where she is) significantly more difficult since it rapidly becomes all about synchronizing ability uses. Then some people, likely not knowing her condition, watched her stream and misinterpreted the situation when she didn't coordinate and rescue some squadmates. These viewers then started regularly spamming her live chat, accusing her of being selfish, or carried by the other players, that she was ruining Apex for others, and similar awful claims - until she could no longer enjoy playing Apex on stream, even if it's her favorite game. Hopefully these people have stopped focusing on her and she will be able to play Apex again on stream. Apex is one of those games that looks so fun when Aqua and other Holomems stream it, but it's so hard to get into since I've never played an FPS game before, let alone battle royale. Apex is less toxic and the fact that you're in and out of the lobby straight away means you can play without having your mental dragged down the mud when you got stuck in nearly 20 rounds of hell like in valorant or csgo with bad teammates. like many shooter apex have many newbie guide on youtube like simple 1v1 tips so you can ignore most of other tutorials for now if you're not used with the abilities clusterfuck in first person (ill just assume you either play moba or mmo or fantasy-type game) you can start with some free2play class based shooter like destiny/warframe/paladins to get used of the skills or chuck our some money and buy overwatch coz despite being a dying game theres still a lot of people playing. There's a reason why most Apex streamers now were once overwatch pro players like Spygea, Ta1yo, Selly, Mande and PVPX
Aqua inspired me to play Apex. I'm not so good at shooters and I had the same feelings as you of dragging down my team, but everyone (or almost) sucks in Apex at start. The pace of the game is really fast, and your first games will last just a few seconds, but the adrenaline it gives you is very enjoyable. Apex is not a shooter you need a super aim to play well (at least at the start), you can overcome enemies in a lot of ways, flanking, dogding, baiting, using the field for your advantage, even giving flying kicks, so you have always a lot of possibilities more than giving headshots like in other shooters. I recommend you to give it a try. When you get your first champions is really really satisfying.
Man, Aqua is really dedicated. If people wanna see her action, then it's better be when she's at her best and that's basically what she's doing. Amazing.

We all thought she'd given up (well she did said here she almost quit), but thank goodness she didn't. 10 months, and YET, as we have seen today, Aqua is still *GODLIKE* in Apex!!! I almost screamed in joy when she got that Champion win in the very first match, and absolutely demolished everyone there. It was GLORIOUS. Good thing is she is largely recovered and is now back in the game.

Basically she stopped streaming it to go into full training arc and get back strong enough to complete the challenge.

I played Apex when it first came out on console. I never saw the dawn of season 1 before I quit for overwatch since more friends played it. I remember when I first got around watching hololive I used to see clips of Aqua destroying on Apex (namely that one clip when a random streamer helped her without knowing who she was). Those combined with other holomems streaming Apex got me interested in trying Apex on PC again after so long and I got hooked. I played almost every chance I got for two seasons. After these two seasons I can't really say what happened but if something I achieved the goal of solo queuing to Diamond IV that I set when I started. Then I just quit. I felt the same way as Aqua was talking about in the beginning of this clip. I guess what I'm trying to say is that Apex can be really fun but can be straight up soul draining if you're playing with no goal in mind. I guess this was Aqua with her Masters grind that she over-exhausted herself for but she never got - which must've felt really bad for her. I'm glad she's back and can stream the game again if she still feels like it has more to give her.

Tune your effective DPI (mouse DPI * in-game sensitivity). Something around 3 000 eDPI is probably a good start, for those who never played FPS before. Eventually you will decrease eDPI over time and your aim will become more steady and consistent. 2. Learn weapon recoil patterns at Firing range: R-301& Volt (in Apex) is most easy to learn and use effectively in fights 3. Play Arena matches. This will help you to improve your gun fights way more faster than BR mode, just because you will spend all your time fighting, instead of looting 90% of a time to just instant death from a random squad. 4. Do not rush Ranked, just play casual matches and learn the map. Go for ranked when you are confident 5. Don't flame the others, this is just a game

For those of you, who want to start playing FPS games, here are some tips from one of your kind (i've started playing Apex just 1 year ago, never played FPS games before):
1. Tune your effective DPI (mouse DPI * in-game sensitivity). Something around 3 000 eDPI is probably a good start, for those who never played FPS before. Eventually you will decrease eDPI over time and your aim will become more steady and consistent.
2. Learn weapon recoil patterns at Firing range: R-301& Volt (in Apex) is most easy to learn and use effectively in fights
3. Play Arena matches. This will help you to improve your gun fights way more faster than BR mode, just because you will spend all your time fighting, instead of looting 90% of a time to just instant death from a random squad.
4. Do not rush Ranked, just play casual matches and learn the map. Go for ranked when you are confident
5. Don't flame the others, this is just a game
