    Looks like a great router and great speeds. You got an average WIFI speed of 60% out of the 500mbps you're paying for and wired connection was way above it. You shoud've tested dual band WIFI to see if 2.4ghz and 5ghz had any difference in speeds. Let me know if you've done that. Thanks man, I gave a Like to the video.

    • @PulsarTECH
      @PulsarTECH  2 роки тому +3

      Thank you for your feedback. Yes I haven't tested 2.4GHz and 5Ghz separately but as far as I know 5G is much faster than 2.4G and the range is the same because manufactures concentrate their efforts towards modern 5G band than older 2.4G thus the antennas have more power in 5G frequency than in 2.4G equalizing the range distance for both.

    you didn't mention which band you were using. seems like you were using 2.4ghz during the test since it only maxed at 300Mbps?
    I don't think the 5Ghz will only give 300Mbps if your wired connection is 800Mbps. it should be close to your wired since the 5Ghz band maxes out at 800Mbps+

    Can this replace the existing isp modem/router? Or this just connects to it and act as an extender? How does it connect, through lan cable?

    • @PulsarTECH
      @PulsarTECH  2 роки тому +1

      Absolutely, it can replace an IPS router. Depending on the ISP you might have to setup some configuration but in most cases it's all done automatically, just plug the WAN cable, power cable and go. Hope this will help!

    • @PulsarTECH
      @PulsarTECH  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Hayden, it highly depends on the obstacles it has to go through, I use it inside the apartment and get a good enough internet signal to watch UA-cam at 1080p on my phone with 2 concrete walls on the way and about 6-8 meters away. If there are less or no obstacles like outdoors maybe you can get 20 meters. Hope this helps!

    Which one is better,c64 or decco E4?

    • @PulsarTECH
      @PulsarTECH  2 місяці тому +1

      Hi, it seems there might be a mix-up here since the TP-Link C64 and Decco E4 are in different product categories. This is a Wi-Fi router, specifically the TP-Link Archer C64. This refers to the TP-Link Deco E4, which is a mesh Wi-Fi system.
      Choose the TP-Link C64 if you need a standalone, powerful router for a specific space with high-speed internet. Opt for the Decco E4 if you need seamless Wi-Fi coverage throughout a larger home or space that might have dead zones.
      Hope this helps!

    • @PulsarTECH
      @PulsarTECH  2 роки тому +2

      Hi, if you don't need a mesh system and OpenVPN, then there are very few differences between C6 and C64, so you can get a C64 if it's cheaper. Hope this will help.

    Hi...Im confused wether to get an archer c64 or a c6 as the c64 has one mesh also now...and there is barely any pricing difference between the two..
    I really wanted the mesh system so i was hoping to go for the c6 but now since c64 also has mesh now i am confused which one to buy for my home...Thankyou

    • @PulsarTECH
      @PulsarTECH  11 місяців тому +1

      Hi, choosing between the Archer C64 and the C6 depends on your specific needs and preferences.
      The Archer C64 generally offers faster Wi-Fi speeds compared to the C6. It supports Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) with a maximum theoretical speed of up to 1200Mbps, while the C6 supports speeds of up to 867Mbps on the 5GHz band.
      Both routers are designed to provide good Wi-Fi coverage for standard-sized homes. However, the Archer C64 may offer slightly better coverage due to its more advanced internal hardware.
      The Archer C64 comes with four external antennas, while the C6 has three external antennas. More antennas can potentially provide better coverage and signal strength.
      Ultimately, if you prioritize faster Wi-Fi speeds and potentially better coverage, you might lean towards the Archer C64. However, if budget is a concern and you still want decent performance, the Archer C6 could be a suitable option. Hope this helps you decide!

      I'm not sure if it will work with Tp Link Extender but I think it should. There's no mesh on this router but since you're using an Extender it should work as the router only outputs the Wifi signal and if the Extender can receive it, why not? It's like having a hotspot on your smartphone.
