Let us know what you thought of the music! Everyone's full tracks are linked in the description if you want to listen without our commentary :)
How come everybody looks so different and you look exactly the same from the first episode
This is honestly some of my favorite content on UA-cam: great music, wonderful personalities, but also very informative on how the music making process works! 😱
Please don't ever stop this series of 4 producers I absolutely love it when I see it in my video feed
i love she from 1 time awesome live Ableton live performance she is the best yes for sure !
What an absolute banger!
Cuckoo doesn't even need headphones. He just plugs the audio cable in to the audio port in the back of his head.

Andrew and Rachel: "What genre is this?"
RMR: "Yes."
Beautiful insanity
It reminds me of PC music
yeeeaaassss
Metaroom
Me: real dubstep
Fat thicc and stanky are the best ways to describe a song.
Spicy also
and fuddy
I love to say "filthy" and "dirty" for dem beats
lets not forget ice cold. oh and that shits fire
YES YES YES!!!!!!! SO FRIKKING HAPPY TO HAVE BEEN PART OF THIS - Andrew, Cuckoo and Jeremy you are LEGENDS OF LIFE xxx
Awesome track RKC!
Your track was easily my favourite, great work!!!!
You're a legend as well Rachel!!

Reminded me of
Aphex Twin - Window Licker
:D
Yeah heavy Warp Records influences from that track. So I‘d say IDM
@@bigmannce Came here to say exactly this, No clue what genre but I knew exactly the vibe it gave.
It was pure Experimental, the genre.
Keep coming back here to listen to Rachel's part, she seriously killed it
best one hands down
2:36- Rachel
7:36 - Red Means Recording
12:06 - Cuckoo
18:08 - Andrew
Thank you.
Thanks. I needed to skip that 3rd one.
Rachel is a criminally underrated Producer and Vocalist. Her instincts are nucking futz.
WOW thanks dude appreciate that xxxxxxx
Sei forte Rachel
Agreed. When she dissects a track I'm paying attention to every single detail.
Her's was the best amongst them all.
@@Bobcoolyoung I agree
I like how Rachel just casually drops the bop of the year in a vid to show off a $300 synth
I want Rachael's song with Cuckoo saying "Nice", "Nicely done" to hear while I code
dude fr 😂
Rachel: Let´s party!
Jeremy: Let's mix it up!
Cuckoo: Let's Chill!
Andrew: Let's bassline!
Rachel's track is so sick! It sounds very professional not like something done for a challenge!
Sounds like a hit.
Sounded like a hit to me. I'm not usually that much into pop for the most part but that was a great track.
@@contemptcreatorarthurave4042 Yeah, that song absolutely could hit Top 40
The other three kinda sucked tbh, Andrews was fine the other two were amateur hour
@@HiLoMusic Red Means Recording' one is a masterpiece
such f.cking good vibes all around
Watching Rachel and Cuckoo listen to your track was such a treat ☺️ the range of sounds you got got out of the MF was nuts, Jeremy! Pleeeease make more MF videos. I have one in the mail 😁
Your song is like riding a roller coaster! Crazy stuff!!
OMG you use the same space cat lock screen that I do - JEREMY WE ARE KINDRED SPIRITS lol, love you bro, keep on being beautiful.
Loooooved your track! 🔥
I dig Rachel's way of thinking. She structures her song like it was a rock tune and give it a pop-twist without being cheesy, like Andrew said. And her voice is just... 👌👌👌👌
Rachel's song was phenomenal!
andrew: heavy
jeremy: hello
cuckoo: T H I C C

Totally blown away by what y’all made! Such vibes ❤️
THICC!
How do I get "Cuckoo" got?😶🕴️🙃
Wow your tracks were all amazing! :)
Signature Cuckoo sound, what a vibe!
Jeremy’s was killer. Loooooots of references to “Windowlicker” by Aphex Twin. I’m actually surprised no one said anything about the rhythms he borrowed!
And Kraftwerk in the opening
because most people are children who haven't heard of aphex twin. "what genre is this?" "will this be a hit?" "is this what kids think as cool today?" not one producer appearing in this channel (even andrew himself, who is a technically proficient producer, can identify all the notes, chords and effects in any track) will ever write/produce a single track as groundbreaking/influential as an aphex twin b-side.

Your track in the sample challenge was super sick!
Rachel's track just keeps on going and keeps on giving. Every time you think it's gonna wrap up, there's more round the corner to explore.
I read this comment before I heard her whole track and didn't realize you weren't exaggerating. like at all
Except the last time, when it actually wraps up.
@@JCBigCat Nah mate, it's still going. She's just a master of using silence to enhance the experience.
What's crazy, rewatching this in 2022, is that the Microfreak now has practically double the capabilities as it had when this video was made (thanks to the firmware updates); such an amazing synth!
You just sold me on it. Need to go check under my bed for spare cash.
@@shannonia81 to be honest I think it's one of the most flexible hardware synths period, especially for the price so not a bad choice, especially if you don't already have a bunch

All the tracks were great but Rachel won this one by a mile. Honestly so good!
👏👌🤗
Jeremy’s was my fav but they’re all great.
Andrews won it for me I thought Rachels vocals were a little to backgroundy for me.
@@Kdkjdjewerdnxa Im halfway and RMR already won by a mile, the next two will have it tough
This was one helluva masterclass in getting the absolute max out of a tiny little synth. I bow to your skills, from the insane sound design to the composition (esp. Jeremy's!) and crazy level of production, all four tracks were just fantastic. Bravo 👏

What I love about these kind of episode/project is, how they're very supportive towards each other. I love this vibe from all of them!
I watch this and think of the hundred thousand times my analog instrument musician friends have said some version of "there's no creativity to it," or "that doesn't take any skill," or "it doesn't have any soul" and my eyes roll so hard they fall out of the back of my shorts.
Where are the WHAT GENRE IS THIS? T-Shirts?

This is 'Producer Music' XD
Just here to say that I actually got to know the artists and their channels (Cuckoo, Rachel K. Collier AND Red Means Recording) all thanks to the earlier '4 Producers 1 Sample' collab you did together. And it has enriched my life, THANKS SO MUCH FOR THAT!
I love this series.
Not only for how people interpret a sample and hoe different their beats are, although they started at the same point.
What I enjoy even more, is how appreciative all the producers are.
They all enjoy eachothers outputs so much, it's awesome
"My room just stinks right now. Thanks Rachel."
I loled.
Everytime I see a the word “4 producers” I almost pass out from happiness
same, my man. same.
Same 😭
The way how cockoo's "nice" are perfectly fitted into Rachel's song as if they were supposed to be there 😎
After a year of restriction Andrew's song's energy reminded me painfully of how I miss going to the club. Can you still imagine raving to this at 150 db with 1,000 people in a huge club?
@ANDREW HUANG I totally agree with some of us pointing out this godness upon B part at 19:11 ! So uplifting. Seriously it's just so good ... I just wish, as jeremy did I guessed by seeing his reaction (he's so into it, strong emotion, Rachel feels deeply touched too), that this part would come back again as a D part before outro. It's almost as we can guess you kinda weren't planing on making this a more polished track, but just enjoying playing with the microfreak. Still, this part alone deserves IMHO to be the focus of a longer version. I would love a re-edited version of this with more of that ''so well felt'' holly part ! ... 😍 My favorite outcome of this session !
I keep on playing again and again these 4 tracks. I did enjoy seeing you four reunited. So much energy, joy and respect for each others. Best mood.
@Rachel K Collier , Your track is obviously way too good, it's a hit on my personal playlist, the best one I've heard from you. Spot on feeling on this one. Voice treatment is so cool. Nice contrast with bassy frequencies. I dig your univers more and more. You're fun. You just nailed it hands down, full stop !!! ...
@True Cuckoo You're a gemstone from the sky and inimitable. Such a style. You're a pillow made of clouds softness.
@Red Means Recordings Jeremy, yours is critically just thick, brilliant, uppercharged. You pushed the microfreak to a delight of earcandy madness. Master level. Love your presence and energy on cam btw.
But really Andrew, ... Man, you may not realize how INTENSE and rich is what you've put out here with this floaty mood ! ... Visionary ... Simply thanks a lot for this gift 🙏 (may you feel like making my wish come true 🙄😊)
Rachels song makes me want to dance in my apartment at 4AM wearing only my underwear and wool socks in poor lighting, ignoring the rest of the world.. thats the best way i can put it lmao
LOLOLOLOL love that description!!!
As someone who may or may not have done that...can confirm. Lmao
Why you gotta describe my exact situation but at 11:34 pm
If you are a man that would be totally another level
same here, except its 1:44 am and im wearing pants
You know the music is good when every musician looks absolutely disgusted. This was so cool. I need to bust out my own MicroFreak again.
Bro, I was just watching ur new video lol 😂
So many unique ideas. Amazing seeing the personalities sing through the song journey each of them created.
Everyone: Wow I love how well you used reverb, and space to make it sound like its in a room.... love your vocals, its so much presence the mix is amazing.... love how you got it so spacious..... I cant help but smile when I listen to your music, the sounds are all over the place"
Andrew: "wow THAT was cool! That little SWOOPY noise."
Rachel made me smile and gave her track such an eclectic poppy feel
Jeremy absolutely smashed it... and all this was with ONE SYNTH??? Jeeeeesus.
Cuckoo is such a chill vibe mastermind... I can't get enough of him
Andrew, you reminded me so much of Jean-Michel Jarre with your track, it gives me good ol' goosiebumples.
Brilliant job, you four! I'd love to see this series continue! It gives much more perspective to just how different each producer is, not only in their style of music, but also their limitations to what they can create with! I've learnt a lot from this episode probably more than any other 4 Producers video. ♥
Even when you have no idea what your doing (like me) the Microfreak is mad fun to play with and just enjoy, it makes me want to make music XD
Jeremy killed!! Such a crazy good track!
I’ll always love Cuckoo’s use of reverb/dimension
🙏🏼🙏🏼 I appreciate it mate! Thanks!
The second dude sounds like he has been Aphex Twinning a bit in his life
Bang on my friend, pure Aphex/Vibert/Squarepusher/Exile
Rachel's could be on the radio.

Cuckoo is so relaxed and chilled! I love his demeanour! :) Followed him too. Rachel too. So much fun listening to these for sure Andrew. Thanks for making the platform to see and experience! Best idea you ever did for us music producers.
Everyone brought a gun to knife fight... except you all brought a nuke instead. Absolutely insane tracks. I'm going to listen to just these for the next week probably.
And the editing is fantastic as always, You're killing the game Andrew.
I totally want a shirt that has Cuckoo saying "This is smile music"
I want a shirt that says: “That’s so good it makes me mad” lol
need a new episode of this, nothing against sample flips, but one-synth-challenges has special vibes.
already was blown away on the first track, and with the next track, I didn't expect it to do that to me again and was proved wrong. and that happened with each track in the video. I'm so impressed, and I'm usually kind of a snob when it comes to music lol
Il definetly gonna dance to this song when im cooking in the kitchen. thx Rachel
YOOOOO Rachel's Track Need's to be released!!!! I want to listen to it in the ride!!! (Edit:) I see the link in the description... Got it.. Thanks for sharing
So, we can basically agree that Rachel won.
Agree
Matter of taste, i missed complexion and energy in her song
Yeah she litterally made a whole song for this video
@@LimTind I feel like the rest are too technical about it so the songs were too busy. Separation in the elements was key for me. and the vocals were icing on that cake
Rachel did well... but Jeremy's song is the only one I downloaded and have put into my playlist. I get the points made here by others. But, I don't want vocals as much as possible, I listen to electronica to get away from having to listen to someone's voice while still listening to something interesting, and I only listen to electronica when I listen to music. Jeremy's song hit it on the head for me, almost a little too well. I visualize a whole action scene, robbers exploding a vault and hoofing it to their getaway vehicle. Then at the full drop, hover car chases through dystopian mars colony ghetto on the way out of the city. They make it to the open desert at the break, get to their hideout and relax for a second. Only to be raided by SWAT and all out gunfight at the next build and drop, resulting in the SWAT team winning, and finding a hostage... I wonder if the next song will carry the story?
Here again, Rachel did well, but it's a little slow for me, and too much vocals. But hey, I'm just a DnB, Jungle, and Techno junkie.
This is easily the best iteration of this series. I've watched this video four times already and all of the tracks get stuck in your head in various ways. There is so much talent here it's unreal.
Classic Andrew move: hits one note, plays entire melody
Life is changed, the first time I have ever heard Rachel and that track was no freaking joke!
Wow Andrew's track is incredible
When you can get everyone to go "What genre is this?" while smiling and grooving, I think you've won.
Lol I’d just typed “I love how informative this series is and how it explains the music process” and Andrew just said “oh that was a cool climby thing.” 🤣
Brilliant idea for a series full of awesome personalities who I love to watch. This really is some of the best of UA-cam.
I love watching these and seeing each artist appreciation for each track
One thing I noticed is that Andrew and Rachel both have golden pineapples on their tables.
This distracted me for a bit from the gigantic gap in creativity between me and the people featured in this video.
Relatable
I reread this comment 3 times and I saw apple every time.. I was so confused and kept rewatching Andrew and Rachel's clips looking for an apple but only seeing pineapples.. then it finally clicked and I read it correctly... So I wasted like 5 minutes of my life being confused for no reason. The end.

I kind of give up to be honest. Amazing.
"This distracted me for a bit from the gigantic gap in creativity between me and the people featured in this video." This.
The most impressive feat is the mixing/mastering of this video. balancing music, narration, and youtube compression, great work
I've been involved with electronic music for almost 20 years, but this makes me feel like I have a lot to learn still....love it and the different approaches each one uses...
I really wish you did 4P1S a lot more often. Its always SO good and there are tons of talented producers out there.

It is totally amazing to see and hear what could be done with only a little synth, some vocals and LOTS of creativity! All four tracks are great! Thank you to all four participants for this impressive demonstration.
A compliment from just one of them means a lot
Very true
Woah I was not expecting you on a Andrew huang video, are you interested in music production?

So so good, absolutely love that you're able to showcase this talent while inspiring creativity 🙏🙏
I've had Rachel's Microfreaking Out playing on repeat for days. Love it so much!
Wow, I wouldn't have wanted to play my track after Rachel. She made an absolute BANGER!!!!! Good job everybody else, but I'm giving the trophy to the lady. She smashed it!!!
Rachel killed this. Amazing.
Maybe it's just around the time I started paying attention, but I feel like the youtube synthhead crowd is so much more solidified than it was when this series first started, so seeing the original crew back made me so happy, almost like a high school reunion! It's wild how your history with people who don't know you exist can be so meaningful!
Epic episode! So cool tracks! That was big pleasure to hear it. Great job!
