September 6th 1974 was the day that this 15 year old lad fell in love with Yvette Marie Stevens aka Chaka Khan watching her open up for Sly & The Family Stone and The Ohio Players when she was with Rufus in Cincinnati Ohio at the Cincinnati Gardens. I am 63 now and she is still my favorite female singer. Wherever she is playing near Cincinnati Ohio, i am going to see her.
