Dropped mine in water, it didn't work for a week. Finally it came but on but the screen was dark. Eventually it came back on and the long streak went away, then it was all good again. The speaker was a little damaged but it was ok. Moral is, don't get your a12 wet.

If you ever are unfortunate enough to drop your phone in the water, DONT TOUCH any buttons,do not attempt to power off, open back remove battery,go to your nearest pharmacy,buy 99% Rubbing Alchol ,91 % if can't find 99. Completely submerge phone in alcohol for 30 seconds,remove and set in the shade to dry with a fan. Water is displaced by alcohol and alcohol evaporates quickly. This will save your phone..

I dropped my samsung A12 in the water accidentaly when i was in the bathroom and it works after being few seconds in the water i took it out immidiatly , and now everything works . The audio , the camera and charging its ok , the ones who are saieng that samsumg A12 is not water resistent probably got the fake samsung A12 becouse the original samsung A12 is water resistent otherwise why my samsung A12 is working after being in water ? I took it in Neptune shop so i know its original . Thank you for the video

Mine dropped in water and I removed immediately but I didn’t remove sim immediately, I checked Google it said put In a bag of rice, read again that rice doesn’t help. But it has slightly dark spot, I hope it clears😢

Dropped my phone in a bucket of water, panicked cause i thought it'd die since the whole body fell in and it took me 2 seconds to grab it. I turned the power back on, and it surprisingly worked. It functioned well, but some water got on the camera so it was blurry for two weeks. And since I had finger print on, it also didn't work for a long month. Overall, it's all good now. (By the way, the speaker was a lil bad but my friend told me to blast a boyband song called miroh and the band was stray kids i think? It helped fix my speaker.)
I think it has an ip 67 certification because I saw it on google

I dropped mine in the toilet 4 days ago and it works except the audio jack is ruined if I plug in earphones it'll come out of speaker bc water got to the circuit
I said take a bruh and brush the audio speakers inside with brush ...
I also drope liquid type of thing in my speakers accidentally...

It is not, and it is also advertised as such at the factory.I replaced the LCD on the Samsung a12 and there are no special seals at all as the A42 example has.Nothing is particularly waterproof maybe in shallow water the water doesn't get into it right away but it is not waterproof.Even in its factory specifications it is stated that it is not waterproof.
True it's not waterproof .. my phone got wet in the rain and now the display plus the motherboard both short-circuited

This video is a fake as I already wrote above.The Samsung Galaxy A12 is not waterproof this is also written in the factory specification.I have already changed the LCD on several A12s and none of them sealed to be waterproof.It does not have rubber seals like models that are waterproof.

Samsung galaxy A12 is NOT WATER RESISTANT.It does not have seals for waterproofing it is also explained at the factory that it is not waterproof so only idiots fall for such scams.There are a lot of videos posted on UA-cam which are false and idiots do themselves harm.You are one of them and everyone who falls for such frauds.
