I have a 2440 (the 4 door) with just the roof and windshield and it has been bullet proof. Added some sound insulation to the inside of the engine box and it made a huge difference in livability. Use ours as a small truck that does not destroy the ground and grass, spray mesquite with it, stuff like that. Very happy with Kioti.
Mike, that’s a very nice machine, but for the money I believe I would buy a tractor. Thanks for another great video! Take care and I’ll see you on the next one…
@@LSE_TRACTOR I agree, the idea of a sealed cab with air an heat, on a work style ranger you be paying 30k for a gas engine. Not sure what all work I could do with it as I haven't looked into what tools available for UTV but it looks promising.
I've tested the 2 row seat version and it rides nice and is comfortable to drive. For me it would be a combination vehicle for some work, hunting and off road rides. It would be great if Kioti would design a lift kit so that taller tires (within reason) could be added. This would provide some additional clearance.
The hydrostatic Kubotas are so slow. I raced my 2440 against a neighbors borrowed RTV 900 and the Kioti with the belt drive was a lot faster to accelerate and at least 10 mph faster top speed. Hydrostats are great for mowers, forklifts, and tractors, but are the wrong solution for a SxS if you actually want to get somewhere. We had a fence contractor in and he had a RTV1100 onsite towing a mini welding trailer. Said that the reason he bought it was that it was too slow for his guys to tear up, but they still managed to find new ways to break it.
@@strangerranger2565 I agree, the hydrostatic unit is slow. I have a 2009 RTV900 Kubota. It goes plenty fast for what I use it for. I also have a 2021 UXV590M Gator which my wife likes. The CVT drive is very jerky on startup. I expect trouble with it at some point, and no one needs to go 50MPH in this type vehicle. I would not dare turn one of my grandsons loose with the gator. One of them turned over his go cart a couple of weeks ago. Thank God he had his helmet on!
I have a new one of these and that lag you talk about I have pretty damn bad. I have to put the accelerator down about 3 inches before it picks up, and then it is jerky to start moving. Is that common for these? Reverse is even worse. Almost feels like on a normal car if you had the parking brake stuck on but its not. Wondering if some adjustment is needed.
Does the K9 cab jerk when the Cvt clutch engages? I just took delivery and man does it jerk. A little throttle in reverse and it launches backwards. A little throttle forward and it starts lunging before full engagement.

La cabina e poco isonorizzata
I’d say that’s a good price for the features compared to the competition. If I had a Kioti tractor I would definitely buy one of these. Great videos
Awesome utv and love my DK tractor but the price seems a little high. Thanks for the video as always!
It's funny, I'll bet you would never comment that a price seems a little low, lol. It did sell today.

Also an electric actuated lift option I believe

Agreed on all points
Look's like a nice unit Mike, but how much for that unit????
Very nice review Mike! It looks like a nice machine. I am a little disappointed that they are not offering hydrostatic drive for that kind of money.
HST comes at the cost of useable HP. That’s why most of these have CVT’s

26k is the new 15k folks. Get used to it

@@EuroS50 it is “normal” to a certain degree, but not to the point that it is annoying. Your dealer’s technician can get much of that lag out.
I seemed to have missed the price?
How many miles to a tank...
Very nice. How pricey ?
$26,400
@@LSE_TRACTOR great price

Same! Did you ever find a fix or is that just how it is?
Very nice, luxury at $26k
Audio on video is only on right side.
Easy access oil filter?? Looks nasty!
why doesn't anyone say what the fuel consumption is in all the videos
How in the world would you do that?
They should just make a fender side seat and dump bed for a Tractor 😂
Larry it is Hydrostat right.
I believe it's CVT.
What colors is this unit available in?
Orange and green
@@LSE_TRACTOROkay Awesome!
Snow plow available
Many companies offer snow plows for the K9
Sorry Mike
Too loud and looks skimpy - better stick to my kubota. Why did they use to thin metal in the frame? Looks like tin can material?
