Yep. He's meant to be inexperienced as he's only two years into fighting crime. That's why in later games, he's not as aggressive. Just look at his batsuits from each game. In Origins it has more armour making it bulkier and appear more intimidating. Bruce being less experienced values protection over convenience, so his suit is heavier meaning his attacks hit harder. In Asylum and City, his Batsuit is less armoured and sleeker than before. This is because a more experienced Bruce values speed over protection as he feels more comfortable as Batman after nearly a decade. His suit is lighter and his attacks aren't as brutal as in Origins. But then notice with his Batsuit in Arkham Knight, he balances speed and protection with an armoured suit that still allows him to move quickly. It's lighter than his Origins suit but still makes his attacks devastating for his enemies. This signifies Bruces returning fury after the death of Joker. He is much more aggressive than he was in Asylum and City, just look at his Batmobile after all. It's details like these that makes me love these games so much. The devs put so much thought and care into Batman's character development and I think they smashed it out of the park.

I enjoyed City just as much, but Origins always had a special place in my heart. Now I have to buy it again and see if it still holds up or if its just my creepling nostalgia speaking.
Arkham origins is the best, hand to hand fights with villains and story wise also, underrates game, while arkham knight is overrated, unnecassary over use of batmobile and dependancy on it, no hand to hand fight with jason, although the story and graphics were goood
I agree about origins actually i feel like the scores a bit low. Also yes the batmobile was used too much and it ruined the bosses (easily the weakest in the series). Its mainly my favourite just from the gameplay itself moreso than the story or the bosses. Origins takes the cake for that. Theyre all amazing games.
Hahaha another origintard. The bosses were copied from city, the story was just another joker story, the map was the blandest and deadest out of the lot, the combat was clunky, glitches galore etc. Origins is the worst
@@MaxPower-cm6ie saying that, im not sure if any of the arkham games have truly amazing boss fights. Theres standouts for sure but aside from that the rest are just pretty standard.
@@szymixx2316 Now that's where f'd up. If you played asylum first you would've appreciated what rocksteady did for the series on a low budget, and why everyone appreciated the game. And I know you didn't play asylum first in the series, everyone who hates asylum started playing city or knight first. Well you doomed yourself to never enjoying asylum because you played the franchise backwards.
What I wish happened (this is more about cosmetics rather than the story or mechanics), that they ported over and remastered all or some of the outfits from City and Origins for Batman, Catwoman, Nightwing, and Robin. I would have loved the Lantern skins, Sinestro, White, and Blackest Night, as well as Injustice. And Robin’s City look was awesome!
Origins has a great atmosphere and story arc for Bruce, but bugs keeping me from a 100% save file and tools making combat too easy knock it down. Still my favorite: 9/10 Asylum started it all, great story, great bosses, haunts my nightmares: 9/10 City has a little bit of everything, combat at it's best imo, fantastic side missons and predator rooms: 9/10 Knight has the worst plot, hard disagree with direction Bruce's character took, twist bad. Bosses bad. Most responsive gameplay, most options to kick ass, little too much going on with 12 enemy types on screen but fun challenge. Tank not really over used just too many segments with it back to back and robs players of better encounters like a proper Deathstroke fight. Car handels like a dream. Most fun I've had in challenge maps. 8.5/10
Arkham Origins is the best game alongside Arkham City, and Arkham Knight would nearly be perfect if it didn’t over use the Batmobile. I loved Batman Arkham Asylum aswell, a perfect childhood game for me, but the titan joker thing was sort of goofy.
My personal list is city, origins, knight, then asylum. I would put origins in first because I loved the joker in that game and the cinematics went crazy but it’s a crime to put Arkham city below 1st since the story is insane
For me the origin is so underestimated. I liked the Batman we have. A Batman that comes to error, like thinking that Ge was alone, that he could save the city alone. Batman more violent and angry, but he still saved the lives of many villains and, above all, really enjoyed the relationship between Batman and Alfred and the moment in that he realized that he could have lost the last part of his family and the last time he would have seen him would have been a dispute. I really enjoied the devloppement of the joker too
If Knight had season of infamy in base game and actually did more substantial dlc not Arkham episodes, that are 10 minutes long (Batgirl dlc long for each character should’ve been the Arkham episodes) it would be 10. It’s an 8/10 for me. I’d say they’re all the same ranking except 7.5/10 for Origins. We need an origins 2
The reasons that Arkham Knight fell short we're the over reliance on the Batmobile (which can be justified since it's a bigger city), the Man Bat side mission and, of course, the Deathstroke fight. Fix those things and it's a 10/10. Still my personal favorite nonetheless.
I know I will get a lot of hate, but it's my opinion. 5. Gotham Knights (7/10) 4. Arkham Asylum (8/10) 3. Arkham City (8.5/10) 2. Arkham Origins (8.5/10) - Just a bit better than City 1. Arkham Knight (9/10)

I loved origins because it had a GREAT adaptation of bane and we got insight on a younger more unhinged Batman
Least to best for me is
Asylum
Origins
City
Knight
Pretty much the same. Each game being great makes it hard to rank them
Origins is one of my favorites but I love Knight as well. ❤
Asylum is mine hands down
Asylum is great
If Arkham Knight had Boss Fights, it would have been the Perfect Batman Game
ctiy is the best
valid opinion
No
Origins had the best boss fights in the entire series
arkham city is objectively the best game. no question about it. and my personal favorite too…
Its a toss-up for me depending on the day between city and knight. If knight had better bossfights though i think it would be clear cut.
@@rogoo yeah, if the scratched the dumbass bat-tank and gave us proper bossfights instead, it would have been a close call.
@@BuenaVista-ik6xt the tank couldve been much better implemented, its a shame they went that route
@@rogoo
What sucks is that if you see interviews with the developers they were SO PROWD of the batmobile not knowing that it’s the one thing that completely destroys Arkham knights reputation as a game
Origins has always been my favorite. The best boss battles, music, Christmas vibes, fighting, gadgets,
Arkham city and Arkham asylum🔥
All games are perfect batman games Give me goosebumps always
My ranking
4. Arkham origins
3. Arkham city
2. Arkham asylum
1. Arkham knight
My exact ranking
I totally agree that Arkham Knight is the better one! Using the Keaton Batman suit is my fav thing to wear in the game.
Origins is 8.5 imo
When I was a kid, Origins was my favorite. I remember playing and finished all three games and Origins not only had the best story, but the best boss fights, the best suit, the best investigations events and the best map. I enjoyed City just as much, but Origins always had a special place in my heart. Now I have to buy it again and see if it still holds up or if its just my creepling nostalgia speaking.
mine arkham knight
Arkham origins would've been my second favorite game had they worked on it for another half a year, there's more bugs in it than snow.
@rogoo yeah no. Asylum has the weakest bosses. All except three were the same and only fun if you do no gadgets
@@rogoo origins doesnt hvae the best bosses. They just copied and pasted city ones. Dead this narrative
Theres standouts for sure but aside from that the rest are just pretty standard.
knight is so fun. playing it for the first time rn on my steam deck and so far i like it the most out of all of them
they're all really good.
For me:
Arkham Asylum: 4/10
Arkham City: 9/10
Arkham Origins: 10/10
Arkham Knight 9,5/10
Asylum a 4/10? Wow
@@rogoo Yup
Opposing the court of public opinion
Um I guess someone should um be leaving to a better place. Nah I'm just kidding 😂. But 4/10 FOR ASYLUM?!?!?!??!?!?!??!?!??!?! Why
Origins has the best story in my opinion but knight and city has best side missions
Plus knight will always have the best traversal
Arkham knight anytime👌
I agree, it edges out city by a small margin
What! Arkham asylum was obviously 10/10, Arkham city was an easy 10/10 and Arkham knight was a perfect 10/10.
Origins?
@@King_ShadowX_Xno.
They're all 10s in my heart ❤️
arkham knight always
respectable
Yes sir
Yes.
The only thing that annoyed me about Origins was 100%ing the game and the combat being slightly less polished than City.
Asylum: Story Arkham
City:Overall Arkham
Origins: More Arkham
Knight: Gameplay Arkham
I got scared as hell when i saw him when i was using the grappler
That 0.5 missing on AK is due to the poor deathstroke boss fight 💀
Origins has a great atmosphere and story arc for Bruce, but bugs keeping me from a 100% save file and tools making combat too easy knock it down. Still my favorite: 9/10
Asylum started it all, great story, great bosses, haunts my nightmares: 9/10
City has a little bit of everything, combat at it's best imo, fantastic side missons and predator rooms: 9/10
Knight has the worst plot, hard disagree with direction Bruce's character took, twist bad. 8.5/10
beat asylum asnd city going for knight soon. played a bit but not all when i was little. SO GOOD.
Origins bro... Damm the game feels so good and those boss fights..
orgins will always be the best for me it has soo much easter eggs og grafs and INSANE batman tools and SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH MORE
I want a game that combines everything that makes Knight perfect, with the cutscene animation of Origins.
Bruh, i literally finished every batman game even the newest one which i forgot the name of, the memories tho
That jumpscare always gets me
The reasons that Arkham Knight fell short we're the over reliance on the Batmobile (which can be justified since it's a bigger city), the Man Bat side mission and, of course, the Deathstroke fight. Fix those things and it's a 10/10. Still my personal favorite nonetheless.
If AK took the Telltale approach and had Bruce’s life be just as integral to the story as Batman’s it would’ve been perfect.
Joker design and voiceline in batman origins is absolute fire
When I first got batman arkham knight i didn't realize how good it was untill i finished the story
I know I will get a lot of hate, but it's my opinion.
5. Gotham Knights (7/10)
4. Arkham Asylum (8/10)
3. Arkham City (8.5/10)
2. Arkham Origins (8.5/10) - Just a bit better than City
1. Arkham Knight (9/10)
It’s very hard to choose Arkham origins is so slept on but it’s either Arkham City or Arkham Knight for me but I’ll go with I REALLY don’t know 🤣… I love the whole trilogy 💯🫶
Arkham origins is so slept on. Only cuz it’s in the shadow of asylum,Arkham city. Origins was a rlly great game
So slept on? Bro everyone calls it the most underrated Arkham game
@@Fat_Boy_500 that’s the point underrated means not appreciated enough for what it is. That’s what I meant srry for confusion.
@@ALPHAxNGA Ngl I should’ve phrased it better I mean that everyone calls it the most underrated and so now it’s not underrated
@@Fat_Boy_500 All good. Yh it’s just everyone compared it to asylum and city and compared to those games people don’t think it’s that great. But in my opinion it’s my fav game in the series.
@@ALPHAxNGA and that’s your opinion and I respect your opinion
