@@FloridaExoticFishSales I'm keeping a lot of Cyp-variants for Man year (also Utinta), but they always are smaller than Kitumba etc.

@@norbertknaak1184 Our grow-out tanks for these guys are 800-1200 gallons. While a "marketable" size averages 2", we frequently raise breeding stock to 4+ inches. The size of their environment, a healthy diet including natural fauna here on the farm provides ideal growing conditions that allow then to reach larger sizes that would be indicative of wild-caught specimens.

Hi I had baby cyps from a fish farm. When I eventually lost half over six month period I realized even though I knew they had small mouths I wasn’t feeding enough which I’ve never experienced with fish so I started twice day and since they have all survived which is a six month span. But during that six months I noticed one in particular for the six months it spits out food. It definitely goes for my nls pellets and it’s been six months so it’s eating something to be alive not fat but not too thin where it would wither away My question is is it normal to see this and what can I do to make it eat more bc the other cyps are getting fat and I ordered more bc I know what to do now. I change water every Monday and Friday No bullies and like I said. It goes for food every time I feed. Is it spitting out bc it already has food in its mouth? I ordered brine shrimp but if it’s not dead for the past six months that I noticed it doing this act then changing foods is not necessary? 4:21
