Same here back in 2010 I was transitioning from playing NBAlive until they made NBAElite it gotten terrible until my friend influenced me into playing NBA2K.
2K7 was a big step, 2K14 was a big step and 2K19 is my favourite (big step). 23 seems like a big step but I think once we get the UE5 version of the game, it will look like a side step. Cant wait. Havent enjoyed it since 19. (Love the Luca artwork tho).

When 2k10 dropped i was out ✌🏾 nba live 😂 i do wish they would bring a competitive game to all genres again because madden/2k/ea fifa need that competitive spark to continue to elevate or become over thrown by a better sports game creator.
NBA2K could be beaten by another game wether it's the Live or not, if that rival game will show some real progress in terms of players movement and behaviour. Every new console got graphically updated NBA2K, and replications of that first game year by year until the next console release, but back-end side of these games progresses much slower

This is nice but you showed us wrong gameplay for NBA 2K10 for X360 (It's XB/PS2 version), NBA 2K14 for PS4 (It's X360/PS3 version), and NBA 2K23 for PS5 (It's PC modded version).
I was on 2k since nfl 2k dreamcast..i saw an ad for nba2k scrolling at bottom and i knew if its the same makers im in...I got a ocuple lives but alwasy ended the year 2k becase it was more real....this year nba 2k23 kind of killing me with the cash grabbing..i liked when they were underdogs adn proving themselves by being about simulating real ball and thinking outside the box
