Maybe Jinwoo also didn't know if the items he gets from dungeons and the shop can be used on other people, and that's partly why he healed the scratch he made on the guy's face. He'd definitely want to find something like that out so he didn't go through the dungeon to create the Elixir of Life only to find out he couldn't even give it to his mother.
A lot of people also don't bring up that he asked him to close his eyes so he could access the system and get a healing potion. Because in the real world, things just don't appear lol. Reminds me of in ep. 6 when he just brought out his dagger and they were all "where did his weapon come from!?"

(chapter 50) In conclusion, although it is rare and on a smaller scale, other people can make things "just appear".

Chief Ahn went out to scout on a gut feeling (which doesn't really seem to happen often) and found out that he was in way over his head. The tutorial is over and the real story is starting.#hype 1:19 Healing in the SL world is not only SUPER rare but very very taxing on the healer people sleep on Joohee but a healer outside of S and A rank healing that many times without getting tired is not the norm. She can heal and buff people and has more than one buff. Its kind of insane she should be in a big guild by all rights. 1:33 More on the Joohee thing. You gotta realize anyone can awaken at any time most hunters were normal regular people when they awakened She was just a normal college student when she awakened. She started doing B and C rank raids and watching people get eaten, ripped to shreds and murdered. Then she decided to troll E and D rank dungeons cuz nothing crazy happens in those. THEN Carthenon Temple happens (Episodes 1 &2) she decides to try again and then the Psycho Assassin ( Taeshik Kang) dude tries to kill her multiple times. Thats way too much for anyone in her shoes. I kinda feel bad for her.
the potion will definitely work. if it didn't the potion he wants to make for his wouldn't work either. also the system is not good or bad, its not jinwoo's ally or enemy. it's simply design to help him become stronger. also it only reacts on those who wants to kill jinwoo so if the system feels your bloodlust against jinwoo you will be recognized as a threat and the system will force jinwoo to kill you.
It’s not that he’s turning dark he just really hates being in the spot light, he prefers to keep to himself and hide his powers so again he’s not in the spotlight. That’s why he threatened the guy from white tiger
The System doesn't care about what the people around Jinwoo are like as long as they aren't threatening his life or his progression. They could be BBQing a baby and it wouldn't matter unless they tried to add him to the menu. (It also tends not to intervene unless he's not taking action on his own. I think that's the real reason it didn't pop an urgent quest dialogue until the lull in Jinwoo's battle with Kang. Up until then he was actively fighting, and when they stop to have a chat the system is like 'OK, but seriously dude, ice this asshole already...')
Jin-Chul also doesn't know that he is sppeedrunning C Rank gates virtually by himself. And like you said Sungmin didn't know he got tested before. The rarity of his ability to level up is making it less obvious he's reawakened because that's technically not what he is
