Horse back journey from Greece to Spain across Southern Europe

This is a taste of my epic and adventurous journey with two little Greek horses across southern Europe with photographs taken from my book Riding by Faith across Southern Europe. We began our five month journey from Athens and travelled across a baking hot Greece, northwards through Italy and over the steep European Alps to France where we followed the Camino de Santiago, south to Spain. After crossing the beautiful Pyrenees we crossed the arid plains of northern Spain passing through the historic towns and cities to Santiago.
