I used to be a casual Ann Wilson fan but a few years back a friend showed me the Stairway to Heaven Cover at the Kennedy Center. After I heard that I became completely addicted to that voice. I've searched the edges of youtube and hunted down any thing Ann Wilson sings, and I have yet to find a performance that disappoints me or turns me away. This performance is no exception. My spirit almost leaps out of my body (lol) every time I hear that note at 3:42

I was literally only a few feet away from Ann at Manchester then again 2 days later at Glasgow!!! Incredible experiences I will treasure forever!!! Desperate to see her again!!!!
How could anyone put a thumbs down. These epic vocalists deserve the red carpet treatment on this page. Not only do they do this song Holy justice ( gotta love that Wyonna - she digs way down deep, soaring back up with her arms reaching out to praise our creator) then there's Emmy Lou Harris- she calmed a bruised generation with her talented sounds. Then there is my absolute most bestest (lol), crazy on you - magic woman, Ann Wilson. Been listening to Ann since a PNE roller coaster ride at 15. They had just released the album - Crazy on You that was recorded at Mushroom studio here in Vancouver,, Canada.. We had the pleasure of listening to Heart simply blasted as we rode the rides. They played the colosseum that year & came back a couple of years later to headline a concert called Summer Sunday which featured- Blue Oyster Cult, Ted Nugget, Loverboy, & of course, Heart. Majority epic times. Remember getting high just sitting there, guess you would call it something like "fuming " or something.. Saw Nugget the night before & it must have been as hard on him as it was for us because nobody needs to see or play for that matter - Cat Scratch Fever, more than once in a 24 hour period.. Heart unfortunately came on like 7 hours before the first act & peeps left. They played the best rendition of Minstrel Wind I've ever heard. BOC, slammed it down, stealing the show. Sorry, I was paying homage to these wonderful women- how did I get on to Blue Oyster Cult ?? Also sorry for calling Ted a nugget- for those of you that are not old enough to know- it's Ted nuggent. Dam spell check.
Ann, your voice soars over everyone!! Your vocal ability is just incredible!! Goosebumps all over!! This is a great version, your parts of the song were sung to perfection (as always) but I do prefer Nancy performing it with you!! ❤

John Wolfe saw heart in early 70s in a small club in Port Coquitlam, b.c. there were only a handful in the audience. my neice worked there and said I should come down and listen to this band from Seattle. Blew me away
My doctor prescribed me heart pills. I took them. They did not make me stop listening to Heart, going to the concerts, or watching all of the videos. I went to my doctor and said, WTF? He said, "They are for your actual heart." Whoops! Silly me. ;) Yes, I have the version from Desire Walk On playing now. I always loved this song. Yes, I sing along with it. The medications also cause me to have tinnitus. Apparently I have it right now. There is ringing in my ears!
Love other stuff by all these ladies but watching Wynonna try to compete vocally with Anne is laughable. Emmy Lou should have studied the words and melody first before getting on stage.
I would've loved this better if Emmy was joined by Shelby Lynne and Lucinda Williams or Neko Case and Patty Griffin or Tift Merrit and Lindi Ortega, etc but whatever.
