      It is also safe to mention that if this setup is ignored (not rinsed occasionally) the pads may flip up sideways once they get clogged with organics. If the client isn’t very proactive (or on a maintenance program) you should toss some stones on top!

    Cleaning those surfaces can be a total PITA. I try to keep a stash of scouring pads and/or steel wool handy for that. Looked clean enough to eat off of! Nice work, and I liked the tips about adding the extra pads and bio balls. Going to offer that to past and future customers. Thanks!

    Hey Tristin, neat beard, hope you got a Harley to go with it.
    Brilliant explanations as usual.

    Great video Tristan. What porosity sizes are the 2 additional pads. I just asked this on the UKCAC forum but no-one has done this yet.

      Hey Ian- John G here- low density and medium density are the ones. Tighter than that and the clog up too fast on us! Cheers😎✌️

    Thank your for the video. Can a swimming pool filter work in a pond ?

    • @KoiAddiction
      @KoiAddiction  3 місяці тому +1

      If that’s your thing. They aren’t our “style” BUT there are people who only install that type of filters. To each their own…😊 John G

    A bib liner would have saved you hours?

    • @KoiAddiction
      @KoiAddiction  3 місяці тому +2

      For sure, we typically don’t use them (without a seam). We have been building so long that we have had roots grow in between liners over and over SO…Now we just do seals and seams to make it bulletproof! John G
