I'm trying to convince my dad to get me two female mice but at the moment he isn't convince :( but I'm trying to learn a lot about them to keep bothering him with facts!! Great video!
I can give you a couple of tips. You could start by saying that they are very affordable, non timely pets. Once tame are very social and love the attention of a human. You could also mention that they are every clever and can learn certain tricks. There are actually videos on youtube of mice doing tricks, perhaps show him one and he may find it impressive. Show him that you have the knowledge of mice so maybe when you're eating dinner, bring up a couple of facts. Also show him you have the money for the supplies and the cost of the care for the mice. You could even make a list of all the supplies you want to buy and show him that. All these kinds of things show that you are prepared and responsible to have mice. Good luck! :)
Aw I absolutely love their cage!! I can't get enough of how adorable your mice are! They are very lucky! Their cage looks so interesting too. I actually really enjoyed this cage tour with you talking, it's really nice! :D
Thank you! Hehe they sure are! :) Aw glad you enjoyed, that's a great to know! Haha I know right, they are like that all the time. You don't need to apologize, I love long comments! :D
Anyone who tells you you don't take good care of your pets or your cages are too small or anything, DONT believe them girl! You are awesome and your videos are such great quality!! I am staying up late on a school night watching your videos lol !!
+PEACHY PETPARADISE ever since I got my hamster he never rode on his wheel and im very concerned...maybe I should get a new wheel? what do you think I should do?🐹
I have this cage for my fat dwarf hamster Waddles! I was worried he'd escaoe bc i got the cage before the hamster, however no worries he doesn't care much 😂 I also use the bottle inside the cage for the same reasons though! Just wondering, when you got the cage did the level slot in without falling? Mine falls down after a few minutes so I can't use it! I really want to though so it's quite annoying!!
Haha that's cool :) Really, well I'm glad he doesn't escape anymore ;D Cool, it works right! No I didn't have any problems with the level falling although it's a bit of pain to slot it because it's much longer than the width of the cage so I don't take it out very much lol. It's a shame about your one, maybe your cage was faulty
PEACHY PETPARADISE Thanks for the reply!! :D Haha im glad he doesn't escape too 😦😂. That's really odd though, mine is slightly shorter than the width of the cage! I've heard of lots of problems with the particular cage before though, I didnt realise that mine was also slightly cracked when i got it until i washed it, but it wasn't a big issue anyway, maybe I should email zooplus and make a sneaky enquiry to why the level doesn't work though!
Omg that is so weird, the corner of my cage came slightly cracked too and then it broke off and when Nutmeg chewed it and made a hole, I had to cover it with mesh ever since. So you had the same problem too? That's interesting to know. Could very well be this cage because that is no coincidence If you got this cage recently then yes I would. I hope they sort something out for you :)
I'm pretty sure it's www.amazon.co.uk/Fully-Equipped-Pet-Cage-Untreated-Accessories/dp/B01FNRC6KQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_132?ie=UTF8&qid=1543703956&sr=8-132&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=mouse+cages&dpPl=1&dpID=51PEAuItnvL&ref=plSrch but I could be wrong
Did you buy them all at the same time? Bicause i already have 2 mice and i would like to buy 1 or 2 more and i dont know if i jus can put them together in the same cage, how did you do it?!
boscoitalics they have kept pet rats and mice as pets far longer then the United States if that's where you live. It suck so bad. I know. I sadly have multiple critter trail cages. It's fun but in my opinion they aren't large enough no matter how many I have.
I know hamsters need an abundance of bedding to burrow, how much would you recommend for mice? I put in about 6 inches in my bin cage and noticed that they also burrow, but the amount of bedding was making it difficult to hang climbing toys. Which would you consider more important? Less space for climbing to burrow, or less bedding for more climbing space?
autistic snail UwO thank you. I’ve since moved them into a critter nation cage with a large bin in the bottom. They have about 8 inches of bedding to burrow in (:
my dad finally let me buy a male mouse . i showed him all the research i did and he let me get one i still need to buy a boredom breaker bridge. i names him flynn and he’s gray. but he won’t run on his wheel how do i get him to run on it advice??
Hi I hope you reply but what size tank would be good for 3 mice ? And would it be a good idea to connect three small mice cages with tubes to the main tank so they can go out and about ?
For three you will need a 60 gallon tank. You can if you want although with a tank that size you wouldn't need to but if you feel it would be a fun attachment then go ahead :)
I'm getting 3 mice I have done a LOT of research, and for a cage iam getting the Ikea detolf I fell in love with it when I saw a couple of videos about ppl using them as cages❤️ GREAT VIDEO❤️❤️❤️
I love it when the black and white one runs on the black wheel! And what's his/her name? I've always just payed attention to your hamster videos until now.
Did you take them all together? Or did you get someone first and then the others? I got a little girl but she is all alone. I asked at the pet shop if she would feel alone and they said no. They also raccomanded me to not get another one, cause they'll fight (?) what is your suggest?
Yes I got 4 of them at once. Females should ideally be housed with other females, they enjoy the companionship of their own kind so I would say it's important. But if you are introducing a mouse later on then I would slowly introduce them and on a neutral ground, something like an empty bath tub is great. Also have another cage spare for the new mouse to go in during the introducing process. You wouldn't want to house then together straight away or that could cause a fight so on neutral ground is best with nothing to dominate over :)
What type of cage would be good to get because I am thinking of upsizing for my 2 females? I would want space to hang toys and maybe a platform for food. Great video x
Do you have any US cages you could recommend? I can't find a suitable cage for the mice I'm planning on getting, and I would prefer a barred cage. Thanks! :)
I love the video! What cage are you using? I am thinking of adopting one male mouse. I know if you’re using it for three females it should be perfect for one mouse.
How has taming them been going? Also I might be getting four female mice soon, my mom is considering it and I'm so excited! Have you enjoyed owning mice so far?
Taming has been going well thanks, Latte is definitely most keen to come up to me! Papaya is the most timid and it will take more time for her to get used to me but the others seem to be doing fine and I know each of their personalities now. Aw really, how exciting! I have definitely enjoyed owning the mice, the are very entertaining and joyful little pets. They make a ton of mess and need cleaning almost everyday but they are worth it haha :)
Hello I was just wondering how long you have had your brown mouse for the one with the small white bit on his head, as I only recently rehomed a male mouse that looks exactly like that, if it is him I will be so happy :)
awesome ava If you just got them 2 days ago then they're probably still trying to settle in and adjust to their cage and surroundings. They may not feel comfortable to use their wheel yet which is why they won't go on it. However, leave them for a few more days without any distruptions and they may start to feel more comfortable and use their wheels :)
It is a good cage providing you don't crack the base as the base is a bit flimsy and easily bendable and breakable from my experience. But aside from that, it makes a wonderful cage, offers plenty of ground space, comes with levels, has a large barred roof for hanging toys and allows mice to climb, just be careful with the base :)
Thanks to you, I've persuaded my parents to get a mouse after these summer holidays and i've been watching and doing researches on you channel and now i know exactly what to get the! :D
The cage is from zooplus.co.uk Mice are good pets if they are the right pet for you, I can't tell you if they are a good pet for you only you can know that yourself by doing research and finding about the care for them. Personally I find them to be great pets but they do require a lot of cleaning as they do poo a lot and they also have a certain odor to them which unfortunately no amount of cleaning will get rid of so I would say if you don't like daily cleaning or odors then they may not be the best pet for you. However if you don't mind any of those then they would probably be great for you but of course lots of research will help you discover that. I'm glad you enjoyed! :)
No I do not suggest it. Not only would it unfair on the mouse but it would be dangerous on you because you could easily catch a disease or illness from them. You should only get domesticated mice not wild. :)
Hi I really want to get mice but my mum's not letting me because we have 2 pets. How could I convince mum to get mice? Can u tell me good things about mice so I can convince my mum? Please I need your help. And would mice make friends with my hamster?
You could say mice are quite easy to care for, they are very clever and once bonded can learn tricks, they are very social when tame, don't take up too much space and don't require a huge amount of time. Just mention that you will be cleaning them out daily so it shouldn't smell too much. I will make a mouse persuasion video in future :)
Thank you! Haha no he hasn't met them, he probably knows they are there because you can hear them and he can probable smell them but he has not met them and nor will he ever actually meet them due to safety reasons :)
I can't go through all of them otherwise this would take a while and be a very long reply but I can give you a couple of differences when it comes to care. The first one is time. Rats require a lot of time given to them, usually up to 4 hours is given to rats a day. Mice don't require as much time but still need a fair amount, on average about one hour - two is spent. Second is cleaning, both need cleaning regularly but depending on number of mice, they do tend to produce more poo than rats from my experience. But if you don't mind cleaning poo every couple of days then that should be much of a problem. Rats still need spot cleaning at least every few days. Another is size. If you want something you can handle easier and are larger to hold in general, then rats may be better for you. However if you want something smaller that will fit within your hands, then mice would be more for you. Mice tend to be a little more timid than rats so usually take longer to tame but that being said certain rats can be as timid and will also take as long to tame. It just requires extra patience. Another is smell, rats shouldn't smell if you clean them out often enough. However mice will smell no matter often you clean them, they constantly mark their scent so there is no escaping odors so if you don't like smells then probably best get rats but keep on top of the cleaning. And last one, space. Although housing is quite similar, rats do require larger cages than mice so more space would be taken up with rats. With mice, you can house them in smaller cages but make sure it's not too small as mice can be very energetic and still require a fair amount of space. At least 200 square inches per mouse. But in general mice cages take up less space and it may be easier to accommodate them in your home. Those are just some differences and things to consider. :)
I want rats but they get sick easily , apparently. And i know it can be quite costly as i am only 14 and only get £4 a week . So i am concidering getting mice as some one said they r quite similar.
Benjamin Jones Mice if you like fun to watch animals and cute or hamsters are lazy cute and are more like mini babies lol but I have 15 mice I had 6 one passed away her name Ellie and I have 5 were good friends with this nice pet smart they had mice who had babies and we got the dad and the boys the girls the mom and the moms friend and they wanted them to all stay together and were gonna get a cage where they can stay together and smell and see each other it's called the detolf but we wanted them their at hopper stage but a bit younger but I love mice so you choose
PEACHY PETPARADISE Haha, sorry, haven't watched any of your videos in a while. I'm getting my hamster on Monday, buying a fifty gal bin tomorrow :') its gonna be my first one
OMG my dream when I was little was to have a mice but my mum never let me I still really want one I haven't watched many of your videos yet because I've only just subscribed but can u do if u haven't already do a how to persuade your parents to get a mouse x

I can do, I think it would be a very interesting and helpful video :)
:) okay
Bernadette Woodcock that sounds interesting :o

Bernadette Woodcock that would be a great video
Glad to hear that! Thank you :)

PEACHY PETPARADISE Wow!! That is NOT good!Thabks for letting me know, I will definitely keep an eye out now. The plastic isn't particularly thick!
Dogshamsfishandmore Hmmmm i think mine has a few down blocks on the bar corners but that was it!!
What cage do you use? I'm trying to find a good cage, but I'm not sure what to use.
I'm pretty sure it's www.amazon.co.uk/Fully-Equipped-Pet-Cage-Untreated-Accessories/dp/B01FNRC6KQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_132?ie=UTF8&qid=1543703956&sr=8-132&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=mouse+cages&dpPl=1&dpID=51PEAuItnvL&ref=plSrch but I could be wrong

aww love them!:) the uk has the best cages
I know right I live in england
Hehe they say thanks! Yes I agree :)
boscoitalics they have kept pet rats and mice as pets far longer then the United States if that's where you live. It suck so bad. I know. I sadly have multiple critter trail cages. It's fun but in my opinion they aren't large enough no matter how many I have.
PEACHY PETPARADISE do they have the Alexander cage, with 1 cm bar spacing? Can they squeeze through?
Yep
Are they tamed yet?
I would assume so mice are quick and easy to take
I love how big their ears are! Super cute btw!
Aw I know right! Thanks :)

4 inches of bedding is the minium. You could do 4 inches on one side and bild it up so that you have 6-7 inches on one side :)

advice??
How do you sanitize the wooden toys and housing? How often? I want to introduce more natural homes to my mouse but I want to learn how to care for it
You could soak them in hot water and only when they start to smell. But avoid soaking flakey wood and wood with dyes :)
Hi I hope you reply but what size tank would be good for 3 mice ? And would it be a good idea to connect three small mice cages with tubes to the main tank so they can go out and about ?

Oreo yes, she loves that wheel the most :) Well I'm glad they are helping you gain another interest :)
What size do you have on the trixi wheels?
Did you take them all together? Or did you get someone first and then the others? I got a little girl but she is all alone. I asked at the pet shop if she would feel alone and they said no. They also raccomanded me to not get another one, cause they'll fight (?) what is your suggest?

Yes, that's exactly what i was going to do! Thank you for the confirmation :)
Any idea on how I could convince my mom to get a pet mouse or mice? It will stay in my room and won't go out of my bedroom.
What type of cage would be good to get because I am thinking of upsizing for my 2 females? I would want space to hang toys and maybe a platform for food. Great video x
The Alexander or the Barney Hamster Cage sound like they would be right for you :)
Thanks! :)
Loved the video awesome cage! Are you going to do a taming video?
Thank you! I plan to yes but it will probably take a while to make :)
That is ok! Once I get to see the cute mice again!
LIMELIGHT!!!!!!!
Question where did you find the cage? I've been looking everywhere for it.
Capti ion zooplus.co.uk
What cage is that? sorry just wanted a small pet for about year or two. i already got a hanging bridge so i need a cage with bars.
It's the Alexander Cage :)
Thanks peachy!
Do you have any US cages you could recommend? I can't find a suitable cage for the mice I'm planning on getting, and I would prefer a barred cage. Thanks! :)
No I don't sorry. Just tanks, bin cages and DIY are your option. But tanks are still a great choice for mice :)
I love the video! What cage are you using? I am thinking of adopting one male mouse. I know if you’re using it for three females it should be perfect for one mouse.
where did you buy the toys?
where did u purchase this cage? i’ve been having trouble finding the right cage for my mice
from zooplus.co.uk :)
What kind of cage are they in? I love all of your videos they are so amazing!!
It's the Alexander cage. Aw thanks so much! :)
What cage is this? I was going to use an aquarium but this has way better ventilation and the bars are small enough
CC Alexander Hamster Cage :)
PEACHY PETPARADISE thanks I looked it up and it’s only sold in the uk. It’s so hard to find suitable cages in the us
CC Ah yeah it sucks if you're not in UK. Sorry about that :)
They make a ton of mess and need cleaning almost everyday but they are worth it haha :)
wonderful cage tour! you seem to take very good care of your animals!
Thank you! Hehe I try :)
Hello I was just wondering how long you have had your brown mouse for the one with the small white bit on his head, as I only recently rehomed a male mouse that looks exactly like that, if it is him I will be so happy :)
It won't be him as he is a she and I didn't adopt them. I got her the same day I got the other three and I got them over 2 months ago, sorry to say :)
PEACHY PETPARADISE okay no worries, but wow they really look alike I need to show you a pic on insta or something.
emma ober Haha go for it, would love to see how this little guy looks :)
PEACHY PETPARADISE okay
Do the bars open up if they stick their head through?
No, they are very secure :)
Omg they're so cute I love the little black and white one
Aw yeah they were, that was Oreo :')
Non of mice that I only got 2 days ago won't play on the wheel would u have any possible reasons
awesome ava If you just got them 2 days ago then they're probably still trying to settle in and adjust to their cage and surroundings. They may not feel comfortable to use their wheel yet which is why they won't go on it. However, leave them for a few more days without any distruptions and they may start to feel more comfortable and use their wheels :)
K thanks
I subbed
awesome ava Thanks!
I want to get my mice a nice cage in the next couple mouths is this a good cage and would they be able to escape 🐭💖
PEACHY PETPARADISE ok sounds brilliant and I will be definitely getting them that cage soon
could u link what cage you use
Awww! So adorable! I wish I had mice like yours 😘
Aw I hope you can one day :)
Adorable! I have the alexander cage for my hamster, and the trixie wheel!
That's great! :)
How many centimeters should the bar spacing be on mouse cages?
1/4 inch, no bigger :)
+PEACHY PETPARADISE (PEACHYPETPARADISE) ok thanks! I don't want any mice to escape!(:
Thanks to you, I've persuaded my parents to get a mouse after these summer holidays and i've been watching and doing researches on you channel and now i know exactly what to get the! :D
Aw glad to hear that! That's so reassuring to know :)
Where the cage from? are mice good pets I would love some so cute I enjoyed watching this 😊💕

What is the cage called and where did you get it?
Alexander from zooplus.co.uk
if u found a wild mouse would u be able to keep it?
No I do not suggest it. Not only would it unfair on the mouse but it would be dangerous on you because you could easily catch a disease or illness from them. You should only get domesticated mice not wild. :)
Is a Cage in this size 80×50×50 for two female mice ok?
Yes :)
Great cage, wish i could get mice but i don't have enough space and time! Yours are so cute by the way
Thanks! Aw that's a shame, I hope you can get them one day. Hehe thanks, I know they are :)
please tell me what food bowl you have for your mice
It's a china bowl. Not sure where from as it was my dads :)
THIS IS SO COOL I have white mice and I can't tell the apart besides there personalities
Thanks! Aw cute, glad you can tell them apart because you know them so well :)
Can you make a mice vs hamsters video? As in the differences. Great video😉
I may do yes, it would be very interesting. Thanks! :)
Can you make a good and bad mice cages video 😄 ❤️
Like you did with hamsters 😊
There's no video on UA-cam of good and bad mice cages
I can do yes :)
PEACHY PETPARADISE oh great 😄 thank you soo much ❤️ I'll be looking forward to it 😄😊
What size wheel can you use for mice?
Anything from 8" - 11' is your best sizing and if you have more than one mouse, I suggest getting two wheels :)
Hi I really want to get mice but my mum's not letting me because we have 2 pets. How could I convince mum to get mice? Can u tell me good things about mice so I can convince my mum? Please I need your help. And would mice make friends with my hamster?

PEACHY PETPARADISE Oh thank you so much for replying! Will try to tell my mum about the good things!
what is the size of your rodent trixie wheels?
11" :)
I am thinking of getting 3 female mice just after Christmas, do you think that they would be ok in 500 square inches? Love your videos!! :D :D
Aw that's great! Yes that will do 3 nicely :) Thank you!
in my country the biggest cage with small bar spacing is 61x40x33cm.. bigger cages are bigger but they are for g. pigs. i assume :|
You could always mesh the bars? :)
i bought food for g. pig by mistake can i mix it 1/3 with hamster food?
as amazing a cage i would have expected from you! Here's a random question - has Cashew met/seen the mice??
Thank you! Haha no he hasn't met them, he probably knows they are there because you can hear them and he can probable smell them but he has not met them and nor will he ever actually meet them due to safety reasons :)
That's what I thought on both counts..... the mice are almost as cute as Cashew; ALMOST!
Claire Germaine Hehe! I know Cashew is a tough one to beat ;)
What kind of cage is it and can one get in in the us?
It's the Alexander Pet cage and unfortunately they don't sell these over there sorry
PEACHY PETPARADISE oh ok thank you ❤️
Cute!!!!! How many mice (and what are their names)?
4 and their names are, Oreo, Papaya, Mocha and Latte :)
PEACHY PETPARADISE Awww!!
What cage are you using in this video?
Sue Blacker The Alexander Cage
Where does she live cause I went to pets at home for my two hamsters
I live in UK
Is this cage okay for robovoski?
Yes :)
I really do like your mice their SOOO cute!
Hehe the mice are thankful :)

oh im sorry to hear that =( X
What is the difference between mice and rats?
How much money for the cage?
£69.99 from www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/small_pets/hutches_cages/hamster_cages/hamster_cages/174238
I want rats but they get sick easily , apparently. And i know it can be quite costly as i am only 14 and only get £4 a week . So i am concidering getting mice as some one said they r quite similar.

No definitely not. Rats have been known to kill mice in the wild and natural instincts would kick in so it would not be safe :)

I can yes :) It's the Alexander Hamster cage, haha yes it is huge :)

Maybe she doesn't like wheels, not all mice will like wheels. But it's always good to have one in there for them just incase :)
