I own an LS2 Strobe in fluoro yellow. Visible from miles away, very comfortable to wear for extended periods (hours), and the modular design is pretty convenient. Their visors are as good as anyone else's and of course simple to replace. Sound insulation's good too, mind you where I live (NSW Australia) most main roads are limited to 80 or 100 kph, so wind noise isn't a problem. Nevertheless ear plugs are always a good idea. Would I buy LS2 again - yes. Possibly a better modular version (mine has been discontinued), but for me, they fit my head shape very well indeed, and offer remarkably good value for the money spent.

I kinda feel like I should just buy whatever looks alright that has some features such as ventilation and the visor pinlock antifog. And just start figuring it out. I'm half thinking about getting a bike today. I'm just so chicken as I don't know anyone that rides. I'm literally the first in my family everywhere to take the leap. I'm tempted to put an order on a cfmoto 450srs. What do you reckon?
Do you have time to test the "LS2 Pioneer II" (LS2 Pioneer 2)? It's currently regarded as the best entry ECE 22.06 helmet from a reputable brand, I heard from a buyer that it's quieter than the Storm 2, which seems very interesting. It's 50g heavier than LS2 Explorer, it's vents can be closed from inside, I'm really curious how's it compare to the LS2 Explorer, since it's supposed to be the cheaper version of it. Was planning to get this helmet in matte black but was also confused with MT helmet. Look wise I like LS2 better but I don't know which one is more better
