To answer some of your questions briefly: The Hutts are a race of giant spacefaring slugs that have existed for a very long time and are analogous to the old gangster families of the 40's - 50's. (Lucas is obsessed with old films - Jedi are Samurai, hutts are gangsters, etc). Regarding the man vs CG animation - The Jabba scene you saw was cut from the theatrical release of Ep 4 A New Hope because Lucas didn't have the budget to make a space slug in 1977. It was restored via CG animation to the Ep IV re-release. In the old days, we were *introduced* to Jabba in this film, as you saw him here, a very expensive Henson-esque puppet, like yoda. Also in reference to your questions about clones - in the ensuing 18 years between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, all clones were phased out for conscripted soldiers, so stormtroopers are not clones anymore.

Yup, the Empire went to conscripts. Per the lore, they also would take these Stormtroopers and post them far away from home in different parts of the galaxy. So troops from the poor Outer Rim Territories were posted in the Core Worlds where they'd resent the greater resources and such, while their opposite numbers were posted out in the boonies where they'd hate the "primitive" locals. The Empire was messed up, man.
For added context, the Hutts control several planetary systems outside the Imperial systems, which is touched on in Episode 1 (at that time they are Republic systems). That’s also why Anakin’s force abilities are not identified earlier, since he grows up on Tatooine. Jabba is head of the Hutt family, like The Godfather.
Slight correction. While Lucas couldn't make a space slug he also didn't know how Jabba was going to look. His original idea was for the hutts to be hairy similar to Chewie. So even if he could make a space slug he didn't know that's what he wanted until after ESB.

While the movies don't show you this, the reason the Jedi go so hard on the whole monk mode thing, is that high end Force users can wipe out/bust planets and move Black Holes. If you can't learn restraint or control, well that level of power becomes a very real danger...to everyone. So if someone with that kind of power has a psychotic break or decides to wake up and choose violence, well the Jedi religion makes a lot more sense.

Excuses. The Jedi are sadistic and evil. Their ideology is full of errors, it actually enables selfishness. Being in a relationship with a good wife and children actually pushes one to be sacrificial and unselfish. It has done so in my life, I was one selfish slothful person before I was bound by Marriage to my wife. Marriage taught me what true love is, love is not a feeling of romance, it’s an action a duty for the betterment of my wife. Jedi are scum as the Empire states. Jedi try to pass as angels of light but ideologically they are ravenous wolves.

Stormtroopers are not Clones, the Clone Troopers were replaced by general recruitment throughout the Empire.

Great reaction and you're right about Darth Vader. Within just the context of Episode IV: A New Hope, Vader is "the big baddie" but in the context of his entire character arc he's more of a tragic figure, and the story is actually a family drama set in space about a son redeeming the father, which is why Luke is a bit rare in cinema. While most heroes win by defeating the villain, Luke wins by never giving up hope that his father can be redeemed and saved - which happens far less often in fiction.
You could say that Leia has memories of her mother through the force, but pretty much it's because this was written 20 years before Episode 3. There are a couple lil' details that don't quite add up, it happens. Also, Luke CAN feel Leia's presence, remember they connected with each other telepathically when he was hanging from the bottom of Cloud City.

Agreed. This mildly annoys me. It would just take a second to establish a reason Leia would remember her but Luke not. Maybe Leia is born first and begins to nurse. She and Palme lock eyes. Luke is born just as she dies. Boom. Explanation. Feels like sloppy writing to me.

@@ElMundoDeHadesOK That presumes she was ever told she was adopted, which was never mentioned before. I never assumed she was remembering Padme. (At least, not after the prequels were made.) This means she can only be remembering the person she called mother. For all we are told, we could just as easily assume that Senator Organa's wife died when Leia was a child and he remarried. So when Luke says "your real mother" she could think he's referring to the senator's first wife. The fact is that we are not told enough to assume one way or another in the movies alone. And, if I remember correctly, the dialog from the novelization gets contradicted once the prequels are released, so that's out.
In the Legends books, Luke started a new Jedi Order where family was allowed and even encouraged.
Origionally Episode 4 was released without Jabba. He was cut. The scene was shot but landed on the cutting room floor. When they remastered AFTER 6, Jabba was CGI'd and added back in. In 6, Lucas had more money and was able to get a Henson puppet for Jabba and his origional vision. Hut is a race which speaks Huttese.
I appreciate when I see something in a reaction video that definitely needs an explanation, and I see someone has done it in the comments. I'm 2 minutes into this reaction video and I had to pause.

You have to remember, if Luke knew about his sister, it would take his attention away from his training. His mind would not be fully into it. Hence more emotion might come into play. They had to be smart about when and how to tell him. And Obiwan knew that Luke didn’t have the training/mastery to conceal his emotions/thoughts effectively from someone as powerful as Vader or the Emperor. By simply not telling Luke that Leia was his sister Obi-Wan preventer the situation of an extremely valuable piece of information from falling into the Empire’s hands if Luke was captured and tortured.
Which is exactly what happened here at the end of their battle. His thoughts of his sister revealed her to Vader.

I’m still laughing at your framing of the Sith as the pro-family choice. I’m dead over here. You are a delight, sir. In the novels, which are not canon but some elements kinda are, Luke is more of a neutral character than the Jedi council. We see him using both Jedi tricks and darker, sith-like skills such as choking the guards.
I think that’s how Anakin restored balance to the force: the “good guys” had become too big, too powerful, too sure of and full of themselves. They were so self righteous that they circled back around to being their own brand of evil. The Jedi needed a culling. Luke is a balanced character who isn’t afraid to care about his family and friends.

The Original Trilogy (IV-VI) was _absolutely_ all about Luke undergoing an archetypal "hero's journey", even if only for the simple reason that its story was told first. The prequel trilogy was about Anakin's fall to the Dark Side, and the fact that the OT can be recontextualized as Anakin's eventual redemption is just a bonus.
It's a shame they never made any sequel films though....

It's mentioned in Empire Strikes Back (and Phantom Menace, I believe) that Luke and Anakin were too old to start proper Jedi training. This is why it's harder for them to adjust to having or not having connections to family and such.
The original Death Star either never needed to fire back to back, or never got the chance.
Fun fact Lucas based the Jedi on the Japanese Samurai as well as mixing them with the culture of the high Buddhist monks in China, with a little bit of Hindu Guru ism. This is where the idea of letting go of your loved ones allows you to be free of any type of hatred or jealousy
For the record- Hayden Christiansen is around 6ft tall, 160 lbs during this role, and David Prowse who played Vader in the suit was 6''6 and had the body of a body-builder before playing the role. So you definitely see some body size differences in the two.
to me, this whole thing is about learning that our parents aren't such bad people afterall, yeah they might work for something that we (as children) are taught is a bad thing to work for but, in the end, they're doing it to try and bring balance to our lives in ways we just don't understand.

4:38 Hutts (the species, not a 'name') Speak Huttesse, but can also speak 'Basic' the galactic standard (I.e. English). Huttesse is kinda the de facto language of the region Tattooine is in, since the various Hutt Families control most of it. Even with The Empire running 'everything'. (Being big about themselves, Hutts view their own language as superior..)

16:22 as mentioned in one of the previous vids (in some comment chain), the Jedi during the era of these last 6 movies prefer to only take in children when they're still relatively young. Like, babies up to maybe 5-7ish. To the point it's easier to 'help them forget' about family ties. The older they are when they're brought in, the higher the chances of outside emotional baggage coming with them. Anakin was, by their rules, too old. But they made an exception due to who found him, and... other factors you should watch Ep1 The Phantom Menace for. They do make exceptions once the student has come to a certain age, or there's considerations to be made based on their species population (one Master on the Council's species had dangerously low numbers, and so was given exception to 'father many, with many'. But they're still forbidden from having emotional attachments) It's definitely rough to take in, being well passed the point they would accept any of us for training. And, outside looking in, has it's own set of problems. Like Palpatine said, it's a very dogmatic view.

They made massive improvements on the DS2, needing only minutes between shots, and capability to fire at lower power for smaller targets (it was also substantially bigger, but official numbers range *wildly* from being only 20Km wider than the DS1's 130-160Km, to a whopping 800km.. which should have made it almost as big as the planet. Then there's the scene with the big ship crashing 'down' into it. *that* ship is supposed to be around 11Km, and we see very little curvature of the DS's surface in the shot) And tbf, they never really got to see the DS1 firing to know it's possible ROF.

Yeah, having just the OT, it was 'Luke's story'. But with the addition of the Prequel Trilogy, it's clear that it's the story of Anakin's Fall and Redemption.
It's half and half. Some plot holes, some on purpose. It cheekily kinda ties into Obi-wans whole BS excuse of 'from a certain point of view'.
The Seuquel Trilogy, I would advise waiting on, and maybe after checking out Andor -> Rogue One, Obi-wan, Solo, The Mandalorian, and maybe check out the Clone Wars and Bad batch in your own time (there's a LOT). But definitely should check out Ep1.
Rancors are notoriously tough beasts in the Star Wars universe. It's not that nobody has ever attempted to fight it. It's that nobody has ever WON. Luke only won that fight because he skewered/crushed it under a spiked solid iron door that probably weighed three tons.
Additionally, apparently Jabba malnourished and mistreated this one to make it exceptionally aggressive

Cutting out TPM was a mistake, but putting RotJ at the end is better. Gives both RotS and RotJ more suspense and emotion
Here's some food for thought, one of George Lucas' original pitches for the ending of this movie was, after Darth Vader died Luke would've put his helmet on stating "Now I am Vader". Then he would reveal his master plan of destroying the rebel fleet, and taking over the galaxy himself. That would've be wild😂 could've set up a crazy sequel trilogy too
Definitely can't skip episode 1 and I'm still trying to wrap my head around the order in which you chose to watch the movies 😅 and yes I would recommend Rouge One, takes place right before episode 4 (A New Hope). Also I recommend the Obi-Wan TV series, it's short, 6 episodes, explains what Obi-Wan was doing between episodes 3 and 4. And I also highly highly recommend NOT watching 7 8 and 9. Absolutely atrocious.
I did not mind Episodes 7, 8 and 9 they were not as good as the previous 6 movies but Disney does not Understand how Star Wars works at the time of filming of 7, 8 and 9. Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Mandalorian, Rogue One and Solo a Star Wars Story were much better in production

For reference, the second death star was both larger and able to generate more power than the first, and had enhanced targeting and sensor arrays for targeting smaller (than planets or moons at least) targets, so it had a double whammy on being better in this battle than the first death star would have been able to pull off

@@rogeliofloresortega9055 What would be inaccurate? the shots made in rogue one were on planetary targets, and they had plenty of time to recharge between shots, they just werent made at full power to actually destroy the whole planet. Thinking on it, that might have been a trick used in this movie as well but its not really stated that they arent using full power blasts anywhere here.

@@Revan42142 Oh, i wasn't talking about the time between firing, i meant where they hit. Hitting a city the size of a star destroyer may be easier than hitting a mon calamari cruiser in motion, but then the second blast got right into Krennic's face.
1. Best guess is that Han was Jabba's "trophy" for about a year and a half before the rescue.
2. Vader discovered Leia as Luke's sister because he could feel it in Luke.
Luke didn't know that until just before then.
3. Luke's light saber is green because he lost his old one along with his hand so they
decided to make it green because it worked better in the desert background landscape.
4. Everybody is freaking out because Luke and Leia kissed mostly because she was trying
to piss off Han. They didn't know they are related.
5. The "I love you. I know" was written into the script to get Leia the shot to say it to Han.
6. This was Warrick Davis'/Lead Ewok first acting gig. He was only 13.
Willow is his lead with Val Kilmer and worth a first time/share.😎
7. Awesome camera work with the race through the forest. Nobody in their right mind would go that fast.
8. A little corn. Hans' reaction to Leia telling him Luke is her brother.
9. Jedi is plural. With Luke and Leia leading the way they can reestablish the Jedi back into the galaxy.

Technically, depending on your connection with the force, you can use it to different degrees. In the Old Republic (thousands of years before Anakin) the Jedi could use the force to influence and boost the morale of an entire army (battle meditation). The problem is essentially that using constantly the force is extremely straining to the point a Jedi or Sith could die.
I think he maybe thinks the force is like a "do all things you can think of" sorta thing. It's not unlimited power. And Jedi and Sith also had their own skill sets. With Sith being offensive with their powers, Jedi being more or less defensive.
I strongly recommend watching The Mandalorian, which takes place about 5 years after this movie and is excellent! If you enjoyed these and want to know more about the lore, I recommend Clone Wars, Bad Batch, and Rebels.
On a related note, as those series reveal, while a few of the Troopers in this movie and Episodes 4 and 5 may have been clones, by these movies the Clones have largely been phases out in favor of conscripted soldiers. This was largely because the Clones started to break free from their programming and question just why they were still serving when the Republic they were made to serve literally no longer existed. It wasn't a large portion of the Clone Army, but it was enough that Palpatine considered them a liability, especially since they had clearly shown how effective they could be when united in purpose. In other words, they were the greatest threat to the Empire...despite technically being a part of it. So they started phasing them out and replacing them.
One of the bits of pre-Disney Star Wars lore was that the light-sabers have a base damage/cutting power, but a Jedi/Sith can use the Force to 'pump-up' and boost their light-sabers damage/cutting power, you'll see it in action when you watch Episode 1, when Master Qui-Gon Jin is concentrating, using the Force for cutting/melting through the blast doors with his light-saber on the enemy battleship in the first act.
I've never seen someone overcomplicate Star Wars to this extent, but I'm glad you got something which very few realise on their first watch: The original 6 movies of Star Wars tell the story of Anakin Skywalker.
Whether it'd be on or off camera, I'd highly recommend watching The Clone Wars show. The characters of the clones in it are some of my favourites in the whole of Star Wars, and the era of the Clone Wars is my favourite period of Star Wars.

As for the Dark Side versus the the Light... it's about mindset. How do you channel your power? Intent.
Anakin had an absolutely insane potential. But channeling that potential requires you to tap into emotion. The Jedi use calm and acceptance and zen to do that. Obviously, it takes a long, long time to learn how to immerse yourself in calm, peaceful contemplation while slicing your way through a battlefield. That's why the Dark Side comes easier: on the battlefield, diving headfirst into enthusiastic murder is easier, especially when hatred and murderous rage acts as fuel.
The problem is, these feelings reinforce. They're a feedback loop.
The Jedi and the Sith aren't the same. The Jedi at their worst are unfeeling, judgmental, unemotional cripples who serve the status quo and ultimately perpetuate injustice. The Sith, however, are abolute in their self-centeredness, and will kill and mutilate and torture for pleasure any chance they get.
The implication of the movies was that the Sith were evil, yes. But also that, much like many real-life religions, the Jedi order had stagnated into either an enabler or a lesser evil.
Meanwhile, the Jedi took Anakin in -- but stagnant as they were, they figured they were the keepers of the Chosen One. They didn't see the traumatised child or his needs; they didn't know how to deal with trauma anyway, their solution had become to shun emotion, to achieve a sort of ersatz serenity not by dealing with emotion but instead by isolating themselves from it. So by the time he was a teenager, Anakin was part of an organization that offered him all the power he had always wanted as a slave... but forbade him to use it to save others. Worse, he had grown up as a slave where might was right, and they appear never to have seriously tried to break him of that mindset.
I like to think of the dark side as an Eric Carle greedy python.
The Jedi are essentially warrior monks. Like monks, they have a rigid code of conduct that must be followed to remain in the order. The reason for the Jedi code is at least in part to prevent Jedi from turning to the dark side. Make no mistake Dark Side = Sith = Evil . It is meant to be unambiguous evil.

Episode 1 is worth it because in 2 and 3 Hayden Christensen perfectly portrays the growing up version of Jake Lloyd's young Anakin. Also, archetypally the episode 1version of Anakin is the Child Hero, a god archetype.
This was originally the first time audiences saw what Jabba looked like.
The storm troopers are not clones. The clones was the lead up up course. But after awhile they started recruiting people to be soldiers instead. And due to some others issues with clones that are explained in other series, they did away with them more or less.
The Emperor wasn't family friendly, he didn't ask Luke to Join him alongside his father, if you listen he actually says 'strike your father down and take his place at my side' i.e. only killing his own dad was going to be an act so significant to turn Luke.
Remember that the original 3 movies were done first, much later the prequels were done and there are several inconsistencies - like exactly when the Leia was taken from her mother.

A fairly big difference between Jedi and Sith is that the Jedi were more inclined to spread the knowledge of the Force and the Sith were more likely to hoard that knowledge. While in the books, Vader took on secret apprentices, he wasn't really allowed to. There was only ever supposed to be the Emperor and HIS apprentice. Luke wasn't offered a chance to learn under his father, but was told to kill his father to take his place. So even if Vader took another spouse and sired more children, if they showed any Force potential, there would likely have been some sort of culling.
In the lore the original Death Star had a 24-hour cooldown time after firing the superlaser, not to mention the single thermal exhaust port that the Rebels were able to exploit in Episode 4. The Second Death Star had a much shorter cooldown period, as well as billions of microscopic exhaust ports (eliminating the single point of failure) spread over the station's surface, as well as being larger and having a remote shield generator, which is why it was considered a bigger threat than the original and why it was so essential for the Rebels to destroy during construction.
Starting with the Original Trilogy (Episodes 4, 5, and 6) those aren't Clone Troopers anymore, they're now Storm Troopers.
The Clones were created with a gene that aged them twice as fast as a normal human. This was to speed up the process of building the army. So, regiments of the Clone army were only about 10 years old when they are first deployed. (Biologically about 20 years old) Episode 2 is 22 years before Episode 4 so, the clones would be 32 at this point. (Biologically in their 60's)
They would've been replaced at some point between Episodes 3 and 4 and were replaced by Storm Troopers. Essentially just a regular army made up of voluntary recruits and involuntary conscription. That's why they went from an absolute machine in the Prequels to not being able to hit the broad side of a barn in the OT. It's essentially a completely different army.

I'm sure you heard it in the last video in the comments, but the Jedi do not say cut ties with family. Jedi are more or less peacekeepers. Thus while you can protect your family, your role as a Jedi is to protect everyone. You are allowed family, friends...etc. It's like being a cop, sure you protect your family of course. ut your job requires you to protect everyone else also.
Also the Sith don't allow family really. The whole Sith way is to kill your master at some point so you are the Master. Family, friends...etc isn't a thing that they care about.
As far as philosophy goes blowing up planets with the death star is generally considered bad.
“Was yoda right or wrong with his principles?” Great question. On the one hand he is wise beyond any other Jedi, in most ways. On the other hand, his black and white way of looking at everything is what was wrong with the Jedi, and led to the demise of the entire order. Had anakin not been treated with such stark dogma and distrust, he likely would have been the greatest Jedi in history. Instead he was made to feel unworthy for his very normal and (initially) very pure human feelings.

I don't think you've understood yet that "using the force" is strenuous to a force user. The more they use it the more tired it makes them. Some force powers require more strength to use also.

I mean, he does that in this movie too, but somewhere between 1983 and 2018, we just randomly decided that Luke Skywalker was supposed to be an Action Hero like Rambo or Ethan Hunt or John Wick... somehow.
Jabba in this case is in fact not an animation, but an animatronic puppet. Since Jabba didn't need to roam around the place in the 3rd movie but only sit on his dais and move his arms and face, all of it was able to be made with practical effects, unlike the scene in the first movie.
Jabba the Hut is part of the Hut race, which is mainly known in the franchise for being the founders and bosses of the Hut cartell, basically an organized crime ring operating mainly at the fringes of Republic/Empire space, known as "the outer rim".
The side by side comparison of the scene with Jabba in the hangar was basically a comparison between the post-production remastered edition and the pre-production original. The scene with Jabba was entirely absent in the original release of the first movie.
There are many interpretations about the tenets of the Jedi code. Some take them at face value, interpreting them to literally mean that if you feel any kind of closeness to another person exceeding that of a general feeling of philanthropy, there's nothing you can do but prioritise the wellbeing of those people over your duty and over the lives of others you are sworn to protet. Others interpret those tenets more akin to how Anakin himself interpreted them in Episode 2, that as long as you don't put the lives of those closest to you over your duty and the rest of the innocents you are sworn to protect - so as long as you can keep your duty and your feelings seperate and can keep a clear head and your priorities aligned with the code of the Jedi, they don't have anything against close and even intimate relationships.
Some claim that even "Dark and Light" Side of the Force are just constructs born out of the ideology of the Force wielders. For those that claim so the Force has neither a dark nor a light side to it. It's just a form of energy in the same sense that radiation and warmth are energy. Jedi and Sith are just two of myriads of traditions of force sensitive beings across the galaxy.

The original trilogy has been created as a team efford, and while George Lucas had the foundational idea for the entire story, his wife and important members of the staff challenged him during the creation to change certain aspects, refine certain ideas, and remember him about certain plot points and lose ends.
But by the time the prequels began production George Lucas was seen as this genius who made Star Wars with but a single stroke of his pen and no one on set had the balls to challange him aymore. So there are errors, because contrary to the believes of his crew at the time George Lucas was and is just a mere human who can make errors and who probably didn't have the best memory of which version of the story he was going by 30 years prior.
If you want to go deeper into the Star Wars fandom, I suggest to watch the animated "Clone Wars" series which brought forth one of the fan favorite characters of the entire setting. The introduction of said character takes a bit of willing suspension of disbelieve, and especially in the begining it's pretty clearly made for a younger audience, but it's certainly worth watching. Slightly weaker but still worth watching is "Rebels", also animated and also for a younger target audience, but still quite enjoyable.
If you'd like something a bit more mature, watch "The Mandalorian". You get slightly more out of it when you watched both Clone Wars and Rebels before, but it's not mandatory to understand or enjoy the show.
I can't tell you to watch the new Disney era movies in good concience. The entire sequel trilogy is an absolute mess when it comes to the plot. Rogue One as well as Solo are both comparatively well made films, though I suppose many others felt as I did that Solo should have spent more time in the development of the friendship between Lando and Han.

You can’t use the force for everything because it is draining. The more powerful of a thing you do, the more energy, focus, and training it requires.
It’s like saying “why don’t you run everywhere, since you can run? Why would you walk?” Because you’d get tired.
Being a Jedi is like being a monk or a priest, while simultaneously being a cop. They are taught to have no physical or emotional attachments so that they can’t be tempted to use their knowledge of the Force for evil. That’s really what the deal is with the Light Side and Dark Side of the Force: there’s no actual “sides” other than what one uses it for. The Jedi, in order to focus on their job of maintaining peace, order and justice in the Old Republic, had have no means of compromising themselves, and to do that, they needed to be free of feelings that led to attachment, including both romantic and family love. The capture or deaths of family or loved ones could turn a Jedi to use the Force and their other skills for selfish or evil purposes, like Anakin killing the Sand People over his mother.
The Sith, on the other hand, are taught the same skills, but their motivation is power for it’s own sake, and they are allowed to feel anything that could lead to anger and hatred, because anger and hatred can make a Force wielder extremely powerful during a fight, will keep them from holding back, and afterward will open that person’s mind to the interest in power for its own sake, so that what made them angry to begin with won’t happen again if they have control over that thing.
Luke doesn’t use the Force as often because he has barely any knowledge of it and never had time to practice except the space between movies. He only knew Obi-Wan for maybe a week, and only stayed with Yoda for about that long too, and never really trained to use the Force at a moment’s notice, as a reflexive move. Anytime we see him using it, from summoning his lightsaber to lifting C-3PO into the air, he’s concentrating really hard to do it, his natural ability to use the Force passed down to him from Anakin being the main reason why he can do it, since he hasn’t had the lifetime’s worth of discipline in using it as other Jedi have.
The Stormtroopers are not clones. After the Clone Wars ended, the Empire stopped using them and just started recruiting from all human-based planets within their jurisdiction. That’s why they sound different, are usually incompetent, and can’t shoot worth a damn. It also betrays a certain level of racism on the Emperor’s part, as he does not enlist any non-humans into his military, feeling human-based species are superior.
Forgot to mention this part: Luke realized Leia was his sister, and Leia “always” knew Luke was her brother, because they felt their connection. Luke, at first, was interested in Leia, as we see from his reaction to her in the first (fourth) movie, but stopped any kind of pursuit of her after that. Leia also never showed an interest in Luke and kissed him that one time to make Han jealous - you’ll notice it’s a lip-only kiss. Luke looked smug after because he knew the blow it would be to Han’s ego and was messing with him. So Luke and Leia never had any attraction to each other after their first meeting because they could sense on some level that they were siblings, even though they couldn’t consciously name why it felt wrong for them to be anything other than friends with each other.
Leila’s memory of her mother thing can be interpreted a couple of ways: either she’s remembering her adopted father’s first wife who died in her infancy and believes her to be her real mother, or she’s having “Force memories” (a thing) of her real mother passed down to her prior to her birth, and that’s what she’s remembering.
Leia remembers her adoptive parents, the Organas of Alderan. She never knew anything about her real parentage. When she speaks of memories of her mother who died when she was very young, this is who she was talking about, as she had no idea where Luke was steering the conversation.
In the video game Knights of the Old Republic (which has a far better plot than the films imo,) you meet an aged former Padawan named Jolee Bindo who walked away from the order before he became a Jedi for the very reasons you speak of. By no means does knowing the force tie one to an absolute. The Jedi and Sith are basically religions.

Underrated comment. As much as I love everything in Star Wars (movies, books, novels, shows, cartoons...etc)... KOTOR had the BEST storyline. I know Disney said they are possibly working on something related to that era, but I can't say I fully trust Disney to do it right. Especially if they change the story, It was perfect as it was in the game. Granted they may have to tweak it to make it a series adaption.
@45:30-ish I do not think the Emperor wanted Luke to take his place as a Sith Lord besides his father. He wanted for Luke to literally take his father's place. That's how the whole Sith mentality works. There's always two of them: a Master and an Apprentice, because if they are equals they would backstab each other at the first chance. It always has to be a hard dominance hierarchy for the whole thing to work.
Now, the Apprentice will soon enough realize the old Master has little more to teach him, so he/she will always try to groom and train a junior Apprentice of his own, so that the two of them will gang up on and dispose of the old Master, so that the middle Apprentice will become the new Master. This is what Darth Vader wanted to do to Luke in Episode 5.
The Master is of course aware of all this, probably because that's how he became a Master in the first place. In the old days when there were plenty of Jedis, the Master would start to groom a new Apprentice as soon as a suitable candidate would show up. Depending on how close to plateau his current Apprentice would be, the Master could arrange for the old Apprentice to get killed (what happened to Count Dooku in Episode 3) and play both sides, have them duke it out and keep the winner (as he attempted in Episode 6). Vader is of course aware of this, so hi goes half-hearth-edly after Luke, and tries to convince him to join forces all along, but cannot be so blunt about it with the big boss observing in the same room.
For your question on why don’t the Jedi use the Force more; for one relying too much on the Force can leave you vulnerable to a lightsaber strike or getting shot. And it’s a connection to an external energy, it’s not like a super power. Plus not every Jedi has the same connection strength to the Force. Yoda being a prime example that the march of time does hinder your ability to wield it without effort. But overall, the Force is not a weapon or a toy. At least not to the Jedi. It is to be treated with mutual respect.

Jabba the Hutt: While he was originally intended to appear in Star Wars (1977) retroactively titled A New Hope since the 1997 Special-Edition re-release. His scenes were filmed with Northern Irish actor Declan Mulholland serving as the stand-in for Jabba. However, because of budget and time restraints, Lucas decided to cut the scene. Jabba was originally intended to be a large furry creature reminiscent of a Wookie but was redesigned for Return of the Jedi when they turned him into the giant sluglike creature we are familiar with today.
The Jabba we see in Return of the Jedi is a puppet manned by 3 puppeteers from Jim Henson's Muppet group. Jabba was recreated as a CGI character and the scene that was cut from the original Star Wars was edited back into the 1997 Special Edition and has remained in every version since.
Jabba also made an appearance in Episode I: The Phantom Menace (a severely underrated film by many in the fanbase which I strongly suggest you watch as it shows how Anakin and Obi-Wan first met, along with Obi-Wan's master Qui-Gon Jinn [Liam Neeson] and the events that put in motion Palpatine's rise to power.)
Hutt is the name of Jabba's species. His full name is Jabba Desilijic Tiure. Jabba and all other Hutts come from the world of Nal Hutta and speak the language Huttese, and most are part of the Hutt Cartel that operates in the Outer Rim territories of the galaxy. A few other Hutts appear in the films and tv series including Gardulla the Hutt and Ziro the Hutt.
The reason why Leia was written to be Luke's sister is to raise the stakes for Luke potentially turning to the Dark Side. In Empire Strikes Back, as Luke is leaving Dagobah, Kenobi says "that boy is our only hope". And Yoda replies, "no, there is another". Leia is then teased to be force sensitive by connecting with Luke through the Force when he's hanging on at the bottom of Cloud City.
If Luke isn't the only hope, maybe something could happen to him. It's also why he's wearing black in this film (Anakin's dark attire in Episode 3 mirrors this), and seen using the Force to choke guards at Jabba's Palace. And just in general being pretty confident making threats and whatnot. He's matured, but there is a little bit of effort to make a potential "fall" ambiguous. George Lucas has talked about this in commentaries, it's basically to heighten tension for the climax of the film.
Notice how the inner lining of Luke's outfit is still white though, to show that there's light within. Neat detail
If you're going to watch the new movies, be sure to watch them in Reverse Handstand Blidfold Order. Episode 8/ Solo/ 7/ then 8 again (to remind yourself how bad it is)/ Rogue 1/ Then skip 9.

There are certain metals that a lightsaber can't cut through, yes. Beskar is one for example. This is just a plot or continuity error. Personally I choose to see it as one of the materials a lightsaber couldn't cut through, but Luke was so filled with rage and the dark side of the force, he actually did cut through it

That is the original scene, the Jabba scene from episode 4 was cut from the original movie and then re added during the Re releases in the 90s but with the alien super imposed. So Jabba was originally cut from the original, this movie was the first time the audience was introduced to him and he looked and spoke exactly like what you saw. Jabba in this film is a big animatronic

The thing to also know about Jabba is he is a gangster, like one of the bigger ones of his species, who also deals in a ton of drugs. What we're seeing here is him a few years after he start hitting his own stash.
there are a rare few who don't think it's about good and evil. the primary difference is that the Jedi ideal is to set your own motives aside and allow the Force to guide you, whereas the Sith ideal is to bend the Force to your own will. perhaps a good analogy is horse training, where a Sith would seek to "break" the horse's will and control it, while a Jedi might follow what they call natural horsemanship, where you focus on horse behavior, building trust, and using body language and intuition. the focus on "good vs. evil" seems more like an exploration of movie tropes than something the Jedi are focused on, though it does serve as an underlying background assumption - the war between the Jedi and the Sith is old enough that they accept that the other must be destroyed, without much understanding beyond that the other is willing or unwilling to use "the dark side". (Potentium, reprazent!)
I think it interesting that you mention the Sith as having more freedom. It could certainly seem that way, given that the Jedi, of the republic era at any rate, try to distance themselves from attachment and emotion, whereas the Sith revel in their feelings. It is not accurate however. The Sith are all too focused on the accumulation of power, often for noble goals, but it is never enough for them. They seek more and more power, never truly doing anything good with it, regardless of how pure their intentions might have been. In the end, this pursuit eventually leaves them with nothing. Anakin's single-minded drive to attain power and protect Padme ended in her death and years upon years of personal suffering as he was made more machine than man in a suit that was torturous to exist in, knowing that he had murdered the person he cared for most. There's a quote in the Revenge of the Sith Novelization that sums it up perfectly.
"You killed her because, finally, when you could have saved her, when you could have gone away with her, when you could have been thinking about her, you were only thinking about yourself... it is in this blazing moment that you finally understand the trap of the dark side, the final cruelty of the Sith-because now your self is all you will ever have."
Regarding the clone troopers vs the storm troopers, the old legends continuity explained that the Jango Fett clones were gradually replaced with other clones, mostly those of prominent people in the Empire. The new continuity explains that the storm troopers were replaced with conscripts from the different Empire worlds.

btw you can hear blaster fire on the death star while luke was trying to drag his father to safety, it was about to explode, and there were no rebels on the death star, meaning that there were plenty of stormtroopers that shot themselves before dying a fiery death.
Yes, Henson did the puppets/creatures. Yoda is controlled and VOICED BY, The amazing Frank Oz! (Ms. Piggy, Grover, etc) Jim's right hand man. The ewok that pokes Leia. Yes, under that suit is Warrick Davis (Willow, Professor Flitwick, Lepricon, ) and all the others are indeed like little people. Episode 1,2,3 featured The CLONE troopers. Between 3 and 4, that project was destroyed. New random people were "recruited" to make a new army, known as STORM Troopers
Geroge Lucas himself called this saga, The Tragedy of Anakin Skywalker (Episodes I to VI). Anakin was the Chosen One, as Vader her returned to Anakin and brought balance to the Force.

The scene from the first movie with Jabba as a human was cut from the original, so almost nobody saw it and knew Jabba was, at first, human. The remastered version, with the addition of the "A New Hope" subtitle included the...iffy...CGI overlay of Jabba over the human, came out before ROTJ and that is what people saw, so for most watchers, Jabba was always a space slug. The Jabba in this movie is a practical effect, a puppet operated by three stagehands. There was still another remaster before the prequels.

Learning to use the Force is like learning to maintain self-mastery. Distractions will throw you off balance, and you may never come close to mastering the Force, which the Jedi Order has simply "ordered" in a structured path for "Enlightenment".

As others have mentioned the Hutts are a race of basically giant slugs. And Jabba in this movie is a giant puppet that is why he is bigger than the CGI version. The Clone troopers were phased out or gotten ridden shortly after order 66 was completed and were replaced by regular troops. Some of the former clones actually joined the Rebels. One of them is with Han's strike team on Endor. George Lucas has said the story arc of the movies was about the fall and then eventual redemption of Anakin. Now to clarify somethings about the Jedi and Sith. The Jedi weren't always against having attachments and families it was due a Jedi called Revan that fell to the darkside and influenced many Jedi that he had close relationships to follow that path. The no attachment thing came about in reaction to that which in my opinion was an overreaction. Revan fell to the darkside during the war with the Sith Empire that nearly destroyed the Jedi and the Republic. Now the Sith were once part of the Jedi and broke away from them over how the Force was to be used. Basically the difference is Jedi are supposed to follow the Force and used it to help others and nurture life. Sith and other darkside users corrupt and bend the Force to their will for their own selfish purposes and desires. The Darkside is inherently selfish and a corruption of the Force. Darkside is all about power, ambition, coercion and control of others. Now Leia's "memories" about their mother to my understanding were actually Force visions she had growing up. Her "knowing" Luke was her brother confused me but thinking about it I think she meant she always knew that there was a strong connection between them and finding out Luke was her brother made that connection make sense. That is my opinion I could be wrong it wouldn't be the first time lol. Fun fact Yoda is voiced by Frank Oz the voice of Miss Piggy.

Jabba was completely cut out of the first movie. A deleted scene was added in to the reissue with the CGI, so there were no continuity issues initially
Henson was a consultant for the movies but didn't design them. However, the VA of Yoda is Frank Oz, who voices so many Muppets
The Jabba in this film was actually a full-scale animatronic, operated by... I think 5 or 6 guys -- and yes, Jim Henson studios handled all of the puppetry for Jabba and several other creatures (including Yoda in both this episode and also 'Empire Strikes Back')
