I've just taken 20 minutes to work out the final family tree - partly out of intrigue and partly because I have way too much time on my hands (spoiled follow). Relationships before marriage: Family 1 Archibald - father to Jerome Jerome - son of Archibald Family 2 Charlotte Spinetti - sister to Sebastian Sebastian - brother to Charlotte Relationships after marriages: Archibald - Father to Jerome, husband to Charlotte, father-in-law to Sebastian. Jerome - Son of Archibald, husband to Sebastian, brother-in-law to Charlotte, step-son to Charlotte. Charlotte - sister to Sebastian, Wife to Archibald, sister-in-law to Jerome, step-mother to Jerome. Sebastian - brother to Charlotte, husband to Jerome, son-in-law to Archibald. Taking it all one genetically hypothetical step further: if Archibald and Charlotte were to have a child Jerome would be a brother and a step-brother, and Sebastian would be a uncle. If Jerome and Sebastian were to have a child, Archibald would be a grandfather and a step-uncle whilst Charlotte would be a Aunt and a step-grandmother. .....is that right? Regardless, I'm sure someone will correct any of my errors. In the meantime my solitary Braincell needs to have a lie-down in a dark room after trying to get its thinking gear around all of that!
This is absolutely brilliant. I hope they do more of these someday, I'd love to see one live! (I was hoping they would be at the Fringe again this year but alas!)
