Look for Elevator Example blueprint by BigZ on workshop, there is also doors scheme that makes them open and close like in real

I'm stumped. Why use controllers rather than the far cheaper extra logic block?

Different strokes for different folks basically. Where I have built this on my survival worlds, its not always been practical to access the pistons, running this method lets me put all the controllers and logic in 1 place and change the piston length in the controller

@@wo0dy I can understand that. When I constructed my own elevator I had to add a service room to my base providing easy access to the pistons. Never even occurred to me to add a bank of controllers for trivial access.

way too confusing i just need an andless piston that goes in a massive tower block i built with on an off to start an stop how do i do that?

you cant control a single piston to stop and start on a button press, you have 2 have 2 pistons and a lot of logic to make that possible
you might say this is way to confusing, but it is the simplest method.

also why cant buttons connect to other buttons to inheric connections? game is so stupid! way to complicated! a lift should be built already in blueprints!
