The most Lucid teacher of Advaita I have come across!! And the closest teacher we can have to an actual Enlightened Guru ( Nisargadatta Maharaj), Ramesh being his direct devotee!
this morning i had an important conversation with the Source and then I heard the second part of your video "self realisation" where you speak about suffering,in which I had much light, and of course something in me was not completely peaceful because of this eternal "Yes, But"in my mind, so I'm waiting for your precious answers with much love and gratitude.
All of the information are just there all.
Can I please ask, something I don’t understand - Ramesh tell us to make a decision but not to expect a particular outcome as it’s all down to god’s grace/plan as to what will happen (ok that’s cool get that) But then he states that there is no chooser, no thinker, no doer - get that too great. But what gets me is, if there is no doer who makes the decision because you could call the entity making the decision the chooser or the doer?? Please help, am I missing something? Cheers.
He explains that we only have a “ feeling” of free will. It’s a bit like finding a huge bundle of currency notes ….but on taking them to the bank they are declared counterfeit. Our feeling of free will is “real “ but it is counterfeit.
The decision is made based on our genes and environmental conditioning (everything that happened in life up to now), which we have no control of. We have that feeling of being a chooser, because the mental activity, the reaction of the brain is to always claim whatever action happens naturally: choosing happens -> I'm the chooser, seeing happens -> I'm the seer, ....
Apart from 'Doing n Experiencing' there is a WITNESS aspect of us, our awareness is so caught up with the endless affairs 'Doing n Experiencing' DRAMA. Soon we realize the WITNESS aspect of ourselves, which is changeless n Blissful! 😌, 'Doing/Experiencing' becomes insignificant, the Drama of 'Time-Space-Causation' becomes insignificant.
Love to a master needs a nondesperate hoplessness, a calm hoplessness, knowing that I know nothing. There were world wars, what do we know to prevent them? Why? If it is not so, you still have an experctation, that some worldly event can bring fullfillment. But this is for true for true for true not possibel. By the best pleasure you must have tears, otherwise there is still a hope. So Jesus says: First enter the kingdom of God, then blame
He didn't address people who are living in the grey areas, where they are neither fully responsible or fully irresponsible, but have difficulty making decisions. Here the "fatalism" can be very difficult and the philosophies they are exposed to can confuse them, especially if they are contradictory (there is free will, there is no free will, etc). The idea that there is no free will can make them, especially if they are suffering from depressive disorders, feel there is no point in doing anything to help themselves out of their predicament. It might not be possible to "lie in bed all day, every day", but the person can come very close to that, moving from the bed to the washroom, to the fridge, back to bed, staying indoors for days... If someone has a clear understanding of what I said here, or wants clarification of my so-called "yes, but" I would be very eager to have a private conversation with them. This is not entertainment for me.
Hi Martin, I think I get what you mean. Alan Watts gave me the most convincing framework to handle this - ua-cam.com/video/SKCekg3V1hE/v-deo.html I and the environment is 'one' process. Cutting it into fragments of cause and effect gives birth to questions like 'who is the agent behind this action'. tbh I too get confused/stuck around the 'who is making the decision' thing once in a while. I guess I'm learning live with it :D
@@jithusunny I think that the problem is the idea that there is something being acted upon that's not part of the causal structure as a 'victim'. If there is no separate self then there's also no absence or presence of free will. There's nothing that is being predetermined, there's nothing that has a destiny. I mean nothing separate. As you said "I and the environment is one process". Why give a hoot about some people saying there is or there isn't free will? If there is no doer then there is no presence or absence of free will. But if a person believes these two things at the same time, it's toxic: that is, believe there is a separate self that has no free will.
Being confused for a time and spending a period isolated is just part of a body mind organism’s destiny. It is conditioning that says this is not a good thing to happen , but obviously if it is happening or happened then it can only be God’s will.
Hi. I realise this comment is from a while back now but I'll answer anyway. Only those whom are really ready to hear this, and upon hearing this are really ready to accept, will come across such a teaching. So for whatever reason whomever hears this message will hear it and it will have the affect it will have. If say someone who is depressed "happens" across this and it affects them in a seemingly negative way then it will only SEEMINGLY be a "bad" thing. Say for example, it makes someone bed ridden with a case of existential crisis, then this would have given them the time to further contemplate things and set them on whatever path that they were destined to be on. Everything that happens happens exactly as it is meant to happen. Everything that happens happens exactly as it happens and could not happen any other way than the way in which it happens. I kinda know this from personal experience as I too could not accept this teaching but after time it has been a god send! I have been able to let go of all that used to torment me.
@@jamesmoore4827 it sounds like, with all the conditioning variables you mention, you could say that you letting go of all that used to torment you had nothing to do with this teaching. It might have been something else or nothing else in particular. If it was "meant to happen" then it wouldn't "need" a particular teaching. It just seems so circular to me. Might as well just stop thinking about it completely since it doesn't seem to matter at all. Love.
my destiny brought me here
New subscriber here. I love this teaching. It is alarmingly powerful and beautiful! Thank you for posting.

There is no personal responsibility of the sense of personal responsibility whatever it appears in us. There is only the source will.
Thank you

To answer, if God exists not, explain how you exist? There is no Time, no Mind, no words, no numbers, no places. What are you?
