I'm surprised the Entegra didn't come with a spare under the RV already. Must be due to tank placement. My Winnebago had the factory spare still underneath.
I am too, but unfortunately alot of the newer models are not coming with spares. Walking through the day of a flat out on a big trip could be very frustrating. Not all garages would have that spare to use etc, have to order and wait. Peace of mind. Happy camping!
The only problem I see with this set up is that the spare tire carrier blocks the license plate. Did you relocate the plate or do you travel with the plate blocked?
Thanks for the info. How well can the license plate be seen? It looks like it may be partially blocked. In Texas, DPS is very picky about that. I would probably have to go with a dual receiver.
Thanks for this, I've been meaning to get a spare tire for my trailer, maybe this will kick me in the butt a little.
yes, you'll be so glad you did on that first flat!
Thank you for sharing.

We have a second spot for license plate on rear left. We use the hitch for various things so just depends where we have to have the plate

I’m going to use a dual receiver and it will be higher but I have wanted to move the license plate as we use a carrier sometimes too. Future video!
