I’m following along. However, at 2:50 for the “File location”, if you have a second drive, use that for VMs. It is far better to have a separate drive for VMs as it improves performance rather than combining Host’s default drive and VMs into one resulting in slow performance. :)
Works great in 2024! 22.04.3 installed with no issues! I normally use the subsystem which is so easy to use, but I miss the gui. This brings the gui back and it runs great!

@@isaacolukanni Everything looks fine, there are few times that I was able to run it properly, I mean I don't get stuck at that black screen but when I close it and then I want to reuse it , it just won't

You installed guest OS in the same hardisk as the host.

Do you have 20+ gigs of storage allocated to it? Did you also provide up to 4 gigs of RAM? Also check if the ISO file is not corrupted
